      I wish I would just add things while I'm on the video though LOL but I have to sit and contemplate for at least a half an hour to make up my mind LOL

      Kathryn Poole I know, I always do something after I turn off the video to my paintings LOL it just looked so bare. Well I just took a little saran wrap. Just a little piece and crunched it up into a little ball and dipped it in all the different color paints and then I touched it very lightly. Hopefully I can do this again sometime to show you. Sorry again
      Thank you🌷

      I found this prank nail with gauze around it and a little Blood on the sides. It slips on your finger and makes it look like there's a nail right through your finger LOL I started the video with apologizing that I couldn't paint today that I had to run to the hospital LOL I thought it was hilarious but I don't think some people did. LOL

    so do you use a separate eye dropper for each color when necessary, or clean them out? When you say 2 parts floetrol 1 part paint, so if I mixed a 3 oz cup, i d use 2 oz floetrol and 1 oz paint, drop of water? sorry I'm so slow, but it is confusing to me. I've been trying and my plastic wrap hasn't been coming off like I'd like, yours are beautiful!

    I have tried and tried to do the reverse dip and no luck. Step by step in your videos and all I end up with is a smeary mess. Am I using too much paint? Your reverse dips are really very georgeous

    • @sherrislife2046
      @sherrislife2046  4 года назад

      Sandra B you could be using too much paint. You don’t want to much because then it will just puddle up, Learning how much paint with these is through trial and error. It took me a while to finally know exactly how much paint to have on my canvas. Just a basecoat and then your colored paint. Just not too thick. have your paint more on the thinner side for your flowers. Try it once and if it don’t work keep trying it again with less paint or thinner. It’s kind of hard to tell someone exactly how much paint because they have to find out for themselves in a way. If that makes any sense. It’s sort of like doing a balloon smash. Hard to say exactly how much paint.
      Thank you Sandra♥️

    How hard do you push the cling wrap? Maybe my paints too thick but I’m not getting the pretty feathering you get. Do you have a video of your pouring recipe? If I may ask?

  • @c8Lorraine1

    Is there something wrong with me because I love the painting but I think all the speckled dots they call cells, just ruin it.
    I’m certainly going to try this technique and I hope I can do it without the specks

    • @sherrislife2046
      @sherrislife2046  5 лет назад

      lorrane LOL no there’s nothing wrong with you. Everybody has different taste and lots of people love cells. And many people don’t. I for one do not use silicone to try to get cells. Only when I’m experimenting with something I will use a little silicone but not often at all. I’m not crazy about a painting with a lot of cells. Some paintings look good with a few that gives it a little character. And others like this one would honestly look more beautiful without. The cells are coming from the floetrol. And when you have your paint all at the same consistency that’s when you’ll get cells. So maybe don’t use floetrol. I have seen people use the glue all and not get cells.

    how do you attach the sticks to your canvases ?

    • @sherrislife2046
      @sherrislife2046  5 лет назад +1

      I just staple gun them to the back of the wood. Once they get wet from the paint, I just give them a twist and they come right off.

  • @carolkatgara1661
    @carolkatgara1661 4 года назад +1

    Are your paints in this mixed with anything please?

    • @sherrislife2046
      @sherrislife2046  4 года назад

      Floetrol
      And a little water
      Just to thin it down to the right consistency. Like warm honey or warm pancake syrup.

  • @artbartle2249

    what and how did you put the tabs on each side?

    • @sherrislife2046
      @sherrislife2046  5 лет назад

      art bartle Those are my stirring sticks. I staple gun them to the back of the wood. Once I lay it down to dry then I just give them a twist and they come right up because they are wet from the paint.
