As a Nole all I'm gonna say is GOOD! Shipley has been THE #1 thorn in our side for too damn long now! 😄 I wish him well he has some major talent and huge heart.
I think the plays that sealed Shipley's decision were two hits he took later in the season. The first on the goal line should have been a targeting call and the second when a Clemson receiver accidentally shoved the high-speed tackler downward on Shipley's head. The great thing is that Shipley bounced back and showed the world what he's made of. Yes, football is a hard-hitting sport. The hit Shipley took from behind to his neck and head was just uncalled for. I think if Shipley continues to play at the level he reached towards the end of the season, he will grow even further and surprise a lot of people. There wasn't even a review of the play. Why wasn't a penalty called or the play reviewed? One reason. The targeted tackle the defender made was the kind of tackle that everyone expects at the goal line to stop any modicum of forward progression in its tracks. Shipley never complained, he just took a few days off and went back to work. Much respect for his skills and hope for his future NFL career.
Whoever says Will Shipley would go undrafted are simply haters. I would be very surprised if he wasn’t drafted by the third round. If he has great numbers at the combine,, he could work his way up to the 2nd round. Clemson used Shipley the same way McCaffrey was at Stanford but definitely Shipley is not the same caliber as McCaffrey. He can run, catch, block, return punts and kick returns as well. When it comes to the whole package at RB, he’s definitely a top 5 RB in the 2024 draft.
Shipley is a good back but he needs more time to develop and get stronger. I can't help but feel like he left too early. Phil Mafah will definitely be a great replacement though assuming he comes back. He's going to be a beast behind this Matt Luke offensive line.
I don't know if he can hold to the rigors of the NFL. I see a limited role as a pass catching back if any. I don't think he was developed to much from when he came in. ( Clemson problem.)
Hard disagree that Shipley will thrive under a coach who's not a believer in the run. Yeah, they did have Kareem Hunt putting up 1,300 yards from scrimmage in 2018 but since then KC's run game has been extremely underwhelming.
Peete im a die hard Clemson fan just like you. This needed to happen😂you and I both know mafah was always the better option than Shipley. Hopefully next session instead of Garrett Riley trying to get Phil & will X amount of Carries he will actually try and get the ball rolling on our passing game knowing that when it’s time to hand the ball off it’s going to mafah. Mafah is going to eat regardless. Get the passing game together!
@Christian-qu6yv lmfaoo cook carried Jimbo his last 2 seasons.. and if he would have came back for his senior season he would have held the ACC records by a long shot
@@luigigreen9823 I know you are probably too young to remember but do yourself a favor and look at some CJ Spiller highlights if you want to see somebody carry a team
Wish him luck in the nfl he was amazing .

That's how I felt when Dalvin cook left a few years back for y'all 😂
Now you got Mafah to deal witb
@claygeiger6909 We're a little better equipped now though than we were a couple years back. Damn Shipley was a nightmare lol
I would be more worried about your qb situation than dealing with another teams offense. Fsu defense will be just fine.
@Dale30 DJ will be just fine. My OP was just meant to be a compliment to Shipley, not "dealing with another teams offense".

🤔CMC and WShipley can give the NFL All⚪️Team a dynamic 1-2 punch at RB now😎🤙

Are we getting a state of the fan video after the bowl game?

my team had already had 3 guys do the same Pete Latham, Braswell, and Turner #RTR. Lookley for shipley his draft stock is still good
I wish him the best! I look forward to seeing Mafah get the large load of carries.
Mafah really needs to work on his blocking. He is a liability for getting the QB killed. He misses pressure reads as much as he misses blocks.
Where has Uncle Lou been? I’m beginning to worry!
Pete...how does this affect the RB position going into Spring and Fall camp? Benny from ATL Go Dawgs!
Travis etienne, never heard of her.
Living under a rock???

Well thats a stinger for clemson
Good for shipley. Bad for clemson. Period.
He's projected to go in the third round. Not sure why all this negativity about his draft grade.
Who’s being negative. I hope he does go early
Dalvin Cook>Ettiene
😂You funny
@@porschepal7932 lmfaoo I don't see how you could watch them both and think ET was better than 4 😂
Spiller > Cook > ETN

Hard to figure who'll get him but I'm thinking autozone over pep boys. Potential future employee of the month if he stays focused!
love the ship, but in the NFL,a back up only
Google his draft grade. Professional analysts think much more highly of him and his prospects than the amateurs being so negative.
CJ Spiller > ETN
