I thought they did a fantastic job with the cutscene! I haven't really played any of the other games and then I came across the cutscene for this one and I was sold! They finally actual show the band playing! The animation is fantastic, the song is a bop, I mean this list goes on! This is one kickass way to introduce everyone to the game! Awesome job to whoever had this idea and put it into action!!!
ATTENTION!!!!! Even if your device does not support 4K. Set your quality option to 2160p (4K) 60 for best quality! Trust me. You’ll see a difference!!!!
PLEASE NOTE!!!! I used a different codec than what RUclips recommends! I used DNxHR which is an uncompressed (lossless) codec, but it runs really rough on RUclips because of the way RUclips tried to compress the file. If the video becomes choppy or anything. Rewind, then It will go really fast for a split second and then it will be fine! I chose this codec because it has great color space and doesn't loose color depth like other codecs.
Not trying to be a show off by saying "4K this, 60fps that". That's not the kind of person I am. But If I don't say that my copy is just going to look like everyone else's on the cover when it's really much different so I kind of have to mention it.
I have worked extremely hard to get this perfect. 1 week and 2 days of trial and error, research, learning about video codecs, pixel codecs, new editing software, AI rendering, lossy and lossless video. I hope you like and share this because I worked extremely hard to get this right.
So what’s so different about mine compared to other peoples? Well… this video has been rendered from 30fps to 60fps. It was recorded in native 4K even though I believe this cutscene is really only 1080p so it was scaled to fit my screen, I think... Color corrected, and completely lossless (uncompressed) for best results and quality. NOBODY has this same one because this cutscene is 30fps. But like I said I took the extra step and rendered it up to 60fps.The file is 32GB!!!
Don't believe it when other versions of this video have a 60fps option. It's not true 60fps. They just record it as that, that doesn't change your output FPS if your input is 30 to begin with. This cutscene was pre-rendered at 30fps so you can record at 60 all you want, but the cutscene is still only 30fps. I knew that and wondered how much more EPIC this would look at ACTUAL 60fps. I figured I have the computing power to do some hard core rendering, and I came across a software that uses AI to take 30fps, and make it 60fps. Now I love this cutscene even more! Everything is so smooth, and looks insane!
Fun fact! Not sure if this is 100% true so there goes the "fact" part of this but... Rumor has it that people from Pixar actually put this together! Weather they left Pixar or are working for Pixar I have no clue, but there you have it! From kids movies to horrer/thriller video games cutscenes. Who would've thought?
I hope you all enjoy this actual 60fps render of the cutscene! I will be starting to do some gameplay this week hopefully, and I'm going to try and make it different from what everyone else is doing!
