I had to buy a second cassette tape (showing my age)of Liquid Swords cause I wore the first one out. Beneath the surface was 🔥 as well. One of my favorite MC's of all time.
I also feel if u shorten Words From A Genius to about 10-13 songs it cudda been a Classic Album. Yes he was That Good Even then. And don't forget Clan in the Front was a Gza solo song 🔥🔥🔥👏🏿🙌🏿
This video has driven me to go check out GZA for real. I've always rocked the Wu and have noted GZA's lyrical prowess but never quite dove deep into his solo works. Thought he was the one on that sick verse on Raekwon's "Table" track but it was Masta Killa. Gotta do homework on GZA for he's really a rare breed. Much respect for putting this video.
B.I.B.L.E (basic instructions before leaving earth) changed my life. Killah Priest is so underrated. please check out his album - Heavy Mental. B.I.B.L.E is also on Killah Priest album but a slightly different version but are still very good. Glad I found this channel. hope you do a deep analysis on Robert Diggs aka THE RZA. Ill be watching and waiting for that one
Why? Because they form like Voltron and GZA happens to be the head. My personal favorite member just because of his use of word play is at a different level than most other rappers. Not in a "i use bigger words to sound smart" way, but just smarter choices that fit the rhyme if that makes sense.
GZA the Genius is on another level. He is too intelligent really. He has made albums with no curse words. He's really an O.G. dont go against him, its not safe. He has a Ted Talks. Not that hes dangerous but his crew is and attack him. Anyways we know. Still he teaches. Phenomenal Guy
Here we go my favorite "Wu" member the "Genius"..."Allah Justice" & now "GZA"...."No matter what I'm throwin' a illa dart.....i got the words that would soften a killer's heart"....(Grandmasters GZA vs Muggs).... 🤔🙂🤔🙂🤔🙂🤔🙂
@@hiphopcircle Wow, I had no idea that song was called that. I thought it was Killah Hillz 10304. The only Hell Windz Staff I knew about was the one on the Wu Tang Forever LP. Thanks for the insight.
I just saw GZA here in Germany performing liquid swords, and it is still amazing.
Fuuuck wieso hab ich des verpasst...
I'm still Dyin for a Gza & Nas Collab 😫😫
That would be bonkers 🔥

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it
half short, twice strong. the genius
Liquid Swords is well above Ray's album. In fact, it's the best Wu production ever produced.

GZA lives up to his other name Genius
Peace God. GZA was the only member not at the Wu concert I went to, still bums me out.

His skill with words is truly incredible.
Love how authentic an AI explaining wu tang to me feels. Just watch the documentary MTV put out with actual members from 1998 or 99.
You can say the same thing about Dead Prez fighting the system and industry from the inside

No problem fam. It's a little confusing with the track the Clan has on Wu-Tang Forever.
whoever believes the spiritual part is coo-koo
