I hope and pray that the Balkans will remain at peace and that everyone will be able to work out their differences without resorting to violence. But as an outsider to the region, the one question I struggle to understand is if Kosovo had the "right" to secede from Serbia, then why can't the Republica Srspka secede from Bosnia and Herzegovina? Kosovo left Serbia in large part because the overwhelming majority of its population wasn't ethnically Serb and they want to determine their own destiny as an independent nation. The Republica Srspka is overwhelmingly Serb in contrast to the majority Croats and Bosniaks in the rest of B&H and the majority of them also want to choose their own destiny as an independent nation, so the situation there seems to me to somewhat resemble that of Kosovo before declaring independence. Yet most of the international community welcomed the independence of Kosovo, but is seemingly against the independence of Republica Srspka?
The annexation of Kosovo was supported as long as it remained independent. Unfortunately the international community didn't support the unification of Kosovo with Albania. Currently the unification of the Republic of Serbia in Bosnia with Serbia would lead to Albanians in Kosovo and N. Macedonia seek for unification with Albania and Croats in Bosnia with Croatia. Obviously Bosnians and N. Macedonians don't want such a thing to happen. On the other side Croatia, Serbia and Albania would be in favour of this border change for themselves, but not for the others. Serbs don't want Albanians to unite and Croats with Albanians don't want to make Serbia more powerful, something that may lead to a higher Russian influence in the Balkans. It's super messed up.

so what's advantage of keeping this district @ Bosnia🇧🇦, its maybe better let go to join Serbia🇷🇸. 🤔
Bosnia will be more sovereign nation state and more functional state with no serb populated and Croatian populated territories that don't want to be part of Bosnia...
In the peace agreement the Republika Srpska isn't allowed to secede, it's somewhat similar as the US with the individual states being unable to leave the Union.
I would love them to, but it is impossible, I want them to leave and never return, and all of the warmongering politicians be executed publicly, but sadly they cannot because of external intervention
@@mahe8838 yes, u rite that was whole idea they got the Sovereign. but it free nations to decide real interests. if the union isn't working properly. EU🇪🇺accepts small countries easily to join🇪🇺. Kosovo🇽🇰is free republic🌿🌿

I don't even want to imagine the world in which territories gained by genocide are allowed to become independent. That kind of precedent would lead us directly into WW3. Don't forget, WW1 started because Serbs killed the Austro-Hungarian prince in Bosnia. Don't let Serbs start WW3 again in the same spot.
They were gained much before 8000 man killed. And Serbians in 20.century have survired 2 genocides. So...
Serbs were decimated in Bosnia during ww2, the recent war was a retaliation, but even then out of 100 000 people killed, 30 000 were Serbs. Even though, Republika Srpska was majority Serbian inhabited before the war started

Support to Republic of Srpska from Greece 🇬🇷☦️🇷🇸
It s none of your business, take care of your macedonian issue because Russia is supporting fyrom.
First, solve the problems you have in your third world country with debt up to your neck.
I suppose you will also support another Srebrenica massacre then😱
“Third world country” obviously has never stepped foot here. You always talk of debt when your country has debt itself. We are actively working and paying it off, can you say the same for yourself?
Weird assumption you make about that and if I’d support it, try talking about something else first before bringing up bloodshed.
Face facts: the 3 groups in Bosnia, Croat, Bosniak and Serb do not want to live together in Bosnia Herzegovina. Let them go their separate ways. Each should have its part of Bosnia. What's the problem with that? What might be more concerning for many in Europe is that the remaining Bosniak section is being influenced more and more by countries from the Middle East who are pouring in money to construct mosques, religious schools, cultural centers, all with the idea of creating a very conservative Muslim society in Bosnia. And the Bosniaks can't say no as they need the money.
what the problem is with the parting? because BOSNIA is BOSNIAN SOIL and MUSLIM SOIL. MUSLIM SOIL STAYS MUSLIM SOIL! Why dont go croats and serbs back to their countrys??!

Bosnia-Herzegovina is an Ottoman construction. It's a fictive state. It's better that it splits between the different ethnic groups and everybody will live on his side.

@American Infidel they love war
Do they? Then explain the 1999 U.S-led NATO rape of Serbia, U.S-backed Ukraine's war against Donbass separatists, and U.S-backed Georgia's war against South Ossetia 2008.

Half of present day Bosnia & Herzegovina especially in Republika Srpska belongs to Serbs and Serbia. Around one-tenth especially in the north and coast of present day Bosnia & Herzegovina belongs to Croats and Croatia.
None of these “regions” belong to anyone but the borders of a sovereign and independent country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Exactly! Yugoslavia broke up because of ethnic tensions and then the international administration let Bosnia live even though its like Yugoslavia but smaller
Carnage is on the way.
Why do they need a militia? If the issue is security why not push for greater Serb enlistment to the existing Army. If need be why not press the US or UN to negotiate issues regarding Serb security in the country? I could be wrong but isn't the armed forces of the country open to al Bosnians irrespective of ethnicity?
Milorad Dodik needs to be toppled from power, he wants to escalae by creating a militia, which breaks the constitution.
@@mahe8838 Is his ambition separatism or creating a de facto Greater Serbia? Why is he risking civil war?
@@GuyShōtō Because if he makes a big scene moving his war button around, his smaller demands for more legislational power and the ability to create Srpska's own institutions will seem more reasonable. So, Bosniaks want to get rid of the Dayton peace agreement. Tell us something new. 🙄🙄🙄
We should all want to get rid of it because it leaves us all in a permanent status quo and leads to inequality.
@@tarik6990 Sure, why not. The war was for nothing and now we are going to sing kumbaya and hold hands while the Islamists rule the country which is exactly what they wanted from the start. No thank you. Keep dreaming.
@@petarjovanovic1481 Which islamists? There are virtually no islamists in Bosnia, those that exist are well known and monitored by police agencies. @@tarik6990 Until you realise that this is not only your country, never was and never will be, we will be in this problem. You just can't stand the existence of Republika Srpska, you can even say her name. You just called her a fascist creation. We will be a thorn in your side forever.
@@petarjovanovic1481 It's not only my country and that's not the issue. The problem is that the two other ethnic groups including yours never respect it and tried to make the entire country ethnically pure through ethnic cleansing and war crimes which is how Serbs got their entity in the first place. It is a fascist creation and I will continue to call it as such. Those who refuse to say it are doing political correctness either because they support the project or because they are afraid of telling the truth. When you have to resort to ethnic cleansing, forced displacement of population and various war crimes including a genocide to create it, that is the textbook definition of fascism and you being proud of it makes you a fascist by extension.
You're one of the rare European groups today who celebrate fascism and glorify war criminals so openly and you're proud of it. It speaks volumes about the kind of people you truly are, there is nothing you wouldn't do for your fascistic projects.
