Sir , With all due respect . The test that you publish here is not within the norms nor very scientific. The cartridge and bullet that you are referring to , does exactly what its supposed to do , which is to engage and incapacitate targets up to 120kg in weight at 100 meters and beyond. and was developed by a team that that has a combined experience of decades in combat. This bullet was designed to create a permanent wound cavity of 3.5-5 cm [ 1.4"- 2" ]x 30-35cm[ 12"-14" , after engaging a real life target with clothing and skin, not to mention bones. And maybe even military vests or gear. And was tested thousands of time to ranges beyond 100meters[110 yards]. To test a projectile at such a soft target , without at least a skin simulant and clothing is not representative. This projectile will tumble and cause massive damage and hydrodynamic shock in real animal tissue , as has been proven independently by numerous parties , both private and governmental. Respectfully FKB Design Dept.
Dear FKB Design Team, please, do not waste your valuable time and resources on writing comments like this. Criticising this video by partially pseudo-scientific arguments is like bullying a poor man for not using a golden teaspoon to stir his instant cocoa drink. You are trying to sell a failed compact tank crew weapon for 8000 USD in a country where real weapons of the same utility are sold for 1000 USD or less, and much more powerful production and custom hunting handguns are available under 3000 USD. So you should work on the marketing of your product. What is this pistol good for? What real life scenarios can you imagine (no matter how irrealistic they are), in which your product does better than other, already available products? Is it better for johnwicking than a really cheap Glock 20 or 40? Do scientific comparisons if you will. You created a 1150 J muzzle energy 6" pistol. That is an achievement. But you have to demonstrate that it is significantly more effective than an 800 J .223 pistol with a 7.5" barrel. Is your pistol easier to shoot? Can one aim with it more quickly? Is it really on par with a 1200 J .44 Magnum revolver? At 50 yards? How much energy does it transfer in 15 cms? In 30 cms? How does it compare to other hanguns' energy transfer? I do not see these presentations on your site. Nobody cares about "3.5-5 cm" broad wound cavities, when it is hardly measurable. Give us the energy transfer profile. Show us that it is good even with a failed bullet which has lost all its petals. Where are the good videos in which you shoot various targets with different weapons to compare them to your pistol? Work on these, instead of criticising the first video on the net which actually confirms your velocity claims. Sincerely yours, An Ordinary Citizen
FK BRNO You're right. This test is not remotely scientific. It is merely a demonstration of the potential in a repeatable media. So I encourage you to reference independent lab testing using calibrated 10% ordnance gelatin. I'm especially interested in whether you developed a more practical expanding hollow point with good weight retention and consistent 14"-16" of penetration. I think this cartridge really has potential with the right projectile. -Andrew
I think your highly qualified team of ex military gun experts has no idea that the military is looking for the bare bones cheapest product that is still reliable and kills. George Smith is right, if you want a really exotic & super powerful gun, there are other, cheaper offerings. Such a cool gun and I would even pay maybe $2000, but we just survived 8 years of Obama and even rich people don't have $8000 lying around.
FK BRNO, there is no way that you can justify the price of this gun. Nothing about it suggests it is worth more than $1500. The round is not that spectacular and we can all see that the quality is not there, just from the marketing photographs of the gun. This gun can be produced and sold for about $800. Not $8000. You are trying to recoup all of your R&D costs in one gun. That is obvious to us. We are not stupid and won’t throw away our money simply because the price makes it exclusive. The existence of this gun actually motivates us to look for better alternatives at much less cost, so we can brag about how stupid you are and how we embarrassed you with our wise choice of another high performance gun at about one eight the cost.
The gun for sure. In fact I expect it to come packaged with a fully-functioning light saber and Force training manual with an audiobook narrated by James Earl Jones.
@Donald Trump's Geissele URGI gas block It's been 2 years since I've watched the video but I'm pretty sure it's either stated in the video or I looked it up. Yeah, it's stupid expensive. Fucking thing costs more than my first 3 cars did combined.
I was excited about this pistol and cartridge when it was first announced. When I learned the retail price was $8000, I realized it was a meme gun, not meant to be taken seriously. GLOCK 40 MOS MSRP $840 Trijicon RMR Type 2 MSRP $650 LWD 6" 9x25mm Dillon barrel $150 Total $1640 That leaves $6360 for Underwood Ammo's 90gr XD load; at $33 per 20rd box, that's 3840rds.
Joe while I don't disagree there are other caliber that can do this, the 357 Sig cannot get those velocities. The 357 sig was glorified marketing and barely gets more velocity than a 9mm+p. The 357mag with much more case capacity can get 1900+fps with hot loaded 100 grain bullets in 7"
Its 80% of Zastava M92 Performance and it is better then the M92 if you use Softpoints @ 2100fps. M43 Ball 7.62x39 has less stopping power then 7.5 FK with Softpoints.
That much penetration for hog hunting would only be effective if you could find several hogs willing to stand shoulder to shoulder. The hogs around here resist that much regimental order.
Considering that the majority of the gun-buying public seems to have difficulty coping with the "snappiness" of .40 S&W, I doubt that 7.5mm will ever really catch on.
Can get a M82A1 in the mid $6000 range. It's quite a bit cheaper than this pistol and would definitely be my choice as well out of the two. Cartridge cost is about the same as well.
It punches through body armor (Class 3) at range and fills the requirements of the customer on a pistol platform. It wasn't designed for the average consumer. The customer, in this case, was likely high-end protection and/or security services in the Middle East or former Warsaw Pact.
Oh look, somebody else made a .25 acp necked down to a .50 ae and fired through a desert eagle frame! Sure it’s $10,000 dollars and $5 per round with a 7 shot capacity, a terrible trigger pull, and 10 pounds when fully loaded…but “it’s not designed for average customers so why complain?” Um, who are those customers exactly? I feel like it was designed from the ground up for like 5 super rich dudes who are just bored with glocks doing it all.
@TFB, you are greatly wrong. This isn't a hollow point. The cavity at the tip is strictly for ballistic coefficient. That's why the shards don't do so much damage - they are not supposed to!
Or leave you're pointless 10 mm and buy a 44 mag but if you want soft armor penetration liberty civil defense 9 mm Will blow clean through level 3A armor or 762x25 tokarev, 22 TCM does pretty good and while it will go through armor but not as reliably the commercially available 5.7 ammo will.
Don't always agree with you Andrew but you hit the nail on the head with this video. I really don't get why everybody is creaming their pants over this gun. Yes fast bullets out of a pistol are a very cool concept and I fully support it, but the price of this gun is preposterous. It's not like the FK pistol has been hand crafted by an old artisan and made from exotic materials. The only thing that "justifies" the price is marketing. After all, Rock Island Armory did pretty much the same thing with the 22TCM and an affordable pistol ($6-700) which could also shoot the ubiquitous 9mm and nobody gave a shit. The FN 5.7 is also a similar concept, but people say "it's too expensive" at $1300 per pistol. Then FK comes out with this thing (which is more powerful the 22TCM and 5.7, but it also kicks a lot more) at 8 grand making it sound exclusive, and everybody loves it...
My takeaway after seeing the ballistic gel: 1. It has taken down game in the field (e.g. a deer) without much trouble 2. It could be reloaded with swaged down .30 cal XTP bullets for perhaps better terminal performance
Oh boy! You mentioned Star Wars and Rogue one. I have a lot of friends that are huge Star Wars fans....dude get ready If it's no alreadyt too late lol good luck
The 9x25Dillon does all this but with better projectile selection, terminal performance, reloading database, in a better pistol (Glock 20) and for a LOT less money. This round has no future. Try Rob Leatham's old pioneering load of an 88 grn. Remington JHP (originally designed for .380acp) over 15.0 grains of BlueDot in a 6in. barrel at 2000fps! It'll shred the front of that gel block right off of the remaining chunk.
I'm going to go with the experience of a WW2 infantryman. With his statement of the .30 carbine was great but sometimes if a guy was running he may take 3 or 4 rounds before they would drop. Where as a 30-06 would punch clean through them. Those engagements we're probably on the outside of there medium range intended effect. This was a medal of Honor recipient shooting men with gear and such. It seems to me this round has no problem punching right through. It's a pistol.
I was in love with this pistol from the time it's picture was sent out! I have a Witness-C custom in 10mm and was my first project gun and helped make me a ballistic nerd. The projectile in this load isn't what I want if they teamed with Barnes they would be set (ttsx baby) and with it's penetrating potential could be a large-medium game dream :) thanks again tfb
HERE'S THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH ALL OF THIS. You guys must not be old enough to remember the 9x25 Dillon. the 30 Mauser or the 8 mm Kertz, 7.92 by33. Oh and by the way the 357 mag. is 33mm long. Double tap and Underwood sells 9x25 Dillion and if you want a really good cartridge they also both sell the 40.cal Super which was going to become the 40 Sig. Sig- GET WITH IT!!!
Now, I know the Brno factory has a good deal of history behind it. It's the source of a number of famous firearms, including the ZB 26, which led to such well regarded weapons as the Bren gun. I even own a Vz. 24 made at the plant. But all that history can't justify an $8,000 price tag for a handgun. Even a high performance handgun.
In terms of base diameter and case design, this seems like either a necked-down 10mm Auto or a greatly shortened .30 Remington. Both of those have the .425 in/10.8mm case diameter that the 7.5 FK does.
I disagree with you on the cartridge and its performance but completely agree with you on the cost of the pistol and what you are getting for that $8,000 price tag. Nice video and thank you.
First great shirt..Second, The Empire Strikes Back is the best..Third, I disagree with both you and James. It’s because you don’t understand what you’re purchasing for $8,000. This isn’t a handgun in a boutique caliber. This is a friggin handheld anti-tank gun. That’s why it has 1 yard of penetration. It is designed to go through steel plating on a friggin tank. And thinking the reason there is a picture of a wild boar on the box is that this gun is for possible hog hunting is a mistake. This is not a hog gun. This gun is used to explode hogs! 2k ft/s and 1 yd of penetration? The hog will explode. These are the purposes of this gun. Undoubtedly designed by former Nazi scientists at NASA. Yeah that’s it. Hope you enjoyed the post of nonsensical theories. Empire, dude...Empire.
Sean Townsend now, if they screwed off on the hollow point, gave it a tungsten core, and made it a spitzer, I could actually see this potentially doing well on body armor. But for 8k, I think I'll just buy that M1A I've always wanted, send it to a professional gunsmith, turn it into a high end precision rifle along the lines of an M21 that shoots lasers, and then buy a car with the leftovers.
They need to expand the ammo lineup. That will be the next step for FK Brno. We need AP rounds. I can't stop thinking about how useful this would be against crazies with body armor.
...I really need to add that my final judgement can't possibly be made without first shooting the pistol and I most certainly look forward to doing that. Exploring the 7.5 FK round and It's capability is another aspect I'm looking forward to.
I agree the round needs a far better projectile. One that expands and holds togeather, and therefore does more damage. I think the nonexpansion of this round may account for some of the 33 inches of penetration.
Thanks for the vid! I agree with you about the bullet design itself, but I'll give it some slack being so new, I'm sure not a lot of companies were lining up to design premium controlled expansion bullets for it yet. I think once the "Limited Edition" 7000$ dollar models are done and we see "real" field pistols that are a bit more obtainable, maybe if it picks up, we'll see more offerings? Am I selling my 10mm? No. But I think that pistol is drop dead gorgeous.... and if it becomes a sub 2000$ pistol, with better ammo selection? I'd be interested. For now, I'll stick to my G20, or maybe one of those new(ish) Ruger 10mm 1911s for hunting hogs.
When you say its just a ".38 that goes really deep" and you're thinking it's nothing special, I don't think you're taking into consideration Cavitation. Same reason .223 / 5.56 is so lethal. The classic battle between weight and speed. Big bullet makes big hole but moves slow. The reality is the fast moving small bullet makes an incredibly bigger hole for just a fraction of a second (Basically a shock wave created from the high speed) which will literally rip and tear organs that the bullet itself never even touches.
Little pronounciation advice. It is not pronounced bernaugh and it isn't B.R.N.O. as I've heard other people say it either. You say BR as in brace and NO as in not. Trust me, I'm Czech.
The best penetration caliber is like the apds sabot projectile. a penetrating needle a bullet with the same characteristics. The anti-bullet protection scientists would create a very fast material to stop that ammunition
9x25 Dillon in a Glock model 40. 6” barrel, production 125 gr@1700 fps. You can load 90 grains up around 2k fps..costs about $850 to set up 9not including dies)
Every old boy I know uses 10mm, 45acp+p, 45super or 460rowland if they want to shoot pigs with an auto pistol. This thing seems like an unnecessary European hand cannon. I love it!!
I've got way better things to do with $8k. Remodel the kitchen perhaps. A new shed w/ concrete floor. A four week trip to the south of France. I'm not wealthy but even the wealthy people I do know have more sense than to drop $8k on a handgun.
You have the best videos period, definitely not a 44 mag though as they tried to claim, and my dad's nighthawk 9mm 1911 has the best trigger I've ever felt followed by my cgw Sao conversion sp01, also agree rogue one was AWESOME
I mostly agreed with what you had to say about the pistol. Especially given the fact that I haven't even held one, let alone played with one James had his mittens all over. But Im totally interested in what other bullets people might stuff in this cartrage. An xtp would be cool, maybe even a critical duty. Something that doesn't over expand and can take some real high fps numbers. Handloads anyone??
I dont know about $8000 but if it's shoe time away like they say it does this thing is all it is cracked up to be 3 inch groups at 50 yards is what you get for $4,000 with others but one inch groups at 100 yards is incredible and unheard of so this is a marvel of sorts
Keep in mind that this is permanent cavity wound territory. In teory this thing should be doing a bigger hole than a expansive .44 magnum (not that it will make any difference in gel though).
A 90 grain bullet at 2000 feet per second can be had with Underwood's Xtreme Defender loading in 9x25mm Dillon out of a Lone Wolf 6" drop in barrel. And that will put you back less than $200 (maybe you guys can review that for us). That being said, I still wish I could float getting one of these. Or I wish that this was significantly cheaper.
The should release the spec so companies who's mission is designing ammo, could design some ammo. That said, I'm not sure it has the velocity to fragment or a bullet shape to tumble, and it might have too much velocity for a normal HP to work right. So some Lehigh Xtreme Max Hunt Damage, or maybe an EFMJ type of thing. It would be a really cool sub gun caliber, but I doubt it will every happen, Sig won't even do an MPX in 357 Sig, and its their bullet design (shared at least), plus 300blk exists.
Rick Sizemore TSX, Fusion, TBBC, and other well designed rifle bullets expand and maintain 100% weight retention. No reason they couldn't have designed a solid copper HP that holds together.
Underwood makes a 65gr round in .357 sig that does 2100 fps, I got 2070 from my 4.4 inch P226. I think I can get 2100 if I get a 5 inch barrel for my S&W M&P pro series 40 or a Glock 35.
Thank you for having the BALLS to speak the truth and reset the gun universe! You are the man! $8000 for a gun???? It better be perfect! Your assessment was fair and honest. Thanks again for your commentary.
Although I’m exceedingly impressed with the pistol, I appreciate this review concerning the trigger mechanism. He might have a point. For long distance hunting at 100 yards I would want a smooth trigger mechanism. It’s a necessity for accuracy and precision to attain target acquisition that allows for a quick humane kill. I realize that the manufacturer is trying to recoup its investment with the $8,000 price tag. Hopefully it’ll go down significantly in the near foreseeable future. Mind you, I love the pistol. It’s extraordinary in any measure. It shows itself as a fantastic hunting platform. Keep up the good work. Let constructive criticism challenge your engineers to develop version 2 that outshines all other pistols.
In Russia created analogical gun. Ballistic in experimental pistol in 9x30 "Grom" ("Thunder"; parent case - 9x19 par) - 6.55 g (101 gr) bullet, 600-610 mps (1968-2001 fps). Also, created cartridges 6.5x30 - 780 mps (2560 fps) and 5.45x30 - 3.5 g (54 gr - standart of 5.45x39), 670 mps (2198 fps). Also, created AO-46 assault rifle, Uzi in 5.45x39, bullet 3.5 g (54 gr), speed 735 mps (2411 fps) in 206.5 mm (8.13") barrel (in standart 415 mm - 16.34" - barrel in AK-74 - 915 mps), 15-round magazine, 700 rpm.
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. VERY INFORMATIVE. I WAS WONDERING HOW THE $8000.00 PISTOL COMPARED TO THE 10MM AUTO. I THINK I'LL JUST STICK TO MY GLOCK 29 AND RUN UNDERWOOD 140GR - 180GR AMMO.
If there will be a re-designing of the M1 Carbine, I'd love it to be built that uses the 7.5mm cartridge (with a creation of double-stack magazine). I would also love the Ruger Co. to develop a Ruger 10/7.5 rifle... wouldn't that be nice? :)

FK BRNO I was under the impression the gun is being marketed for hunting.
How should be alter the test to reflect hunting of say, hogs?

I was excited about this pistol and cartridge when it was first announced. When I learned the retail price was $8000, I realized it was a meme gun, not meant to be taken seriously.
GLOCK 40 MOS MSRP $840
Trijicon RMR Type 2 MSRP $650
LWD 6" 9x25mm Dillon barrel $150
Total $1640
That leaves $6360 for Underwood Ammo's 90gr XD load; at $33 per 20rd box, that's 3840rds.
Perfect
I think we should order 3 apiece, RIGHT?
You can also get a 90gr .357 Sig to 1950-2000 fps in a 6" barrel and use way better designed 9mm bullets

Jesse urban Yes you can. 13 grains of Power Pistol and 90gr XTP out of 6" lonewolf gets 1980 fps average
Joe Or a 9x25 Dillon if you want to make it a bit easier
BS!! My SIG P229 357Sig with 6inch Bar-Sto barrel does 2200fps with 90gr Grizzly ammo.
Peter Martin Do you have a video showing a chronographing of that? Sounds a bit too high for that caliber
I love how the gel farts out smoke after being shot
Not '7.62x39 SBR' performance, its singularly most similar to 30 Carbine - 110gr @ 1990 fps, or 85gr @ ~2300fps.
3:00 Andrew, clean out your desk
TFB TV Well, since my "desk" is a booth in the back of a Waffle House, joke's on you.
Jerome Samuel It's all true. They just fired me.
yeah but because of excessive hentai consumption
TFB TV Shut the fuck up. You agreed not to say anything about that.
tenta-cool your jets Andrew-san
Considering that the majority of the gun-buying public seems to have difficulty coping with the "snappiness" of .40 S&W, I doubt that 7.5mm will ever really catch on.
Except this isn't for defensive use....noone is carrying one of these for 2 legged critters
txgunner87 Even for 4-legged critters they'd be hard pressed to find many buyers at $8k. It's just not a realistic price point for what it offers.
This is one of the only Pistols you’d be specifically targeted and potentially jacked for said Pistol. 🤣
Can't wait until someone else makes a pistol in this caliber or something similar for under $1000. I think it would be fun to play around with.
.460 rowland Springfield 5.25" XDm ;)
Well the FK Bruno PSD is out now for 2k
So it's 7.62x25 +p and cost $8,000. A tokarev pistol cost less than $300 and you can hand load some hot rounds for it.
Thanks for your honesty Andrew.....the one and only thought I have regarding this blaster is "8 grand??!!?wtf"...
I’ll take an M82A1 over this for a few hundred more.
Can get a M82A1 in the mid $6000 range. It's quite a bit cheaper than this pistol and would definitely be my choice as well out of the two. Cartridge cost is about the same as well.
Alexander Ferrara that ain't no shit! LOL! I've have seen M82 go for 6500 to 6800 each before. BUDS guns had them at that price at one time.
For real. The price is crazy
Andrew is the best thing that could have happened to TFB. Still love the ChopinBloc!

I've been waiting for this!!!! So excited to see how it performs!
Speaking of gritty and creepy....
golf-n-guns I love you too.
But James wasn't in this vid.
how is this performance any different from a light 10mm bullet?
find a 90gr 10mm bullet cranked up to as fast as it can go and see what you get.
Magsafe; defender 96gr 690ft-lb 1800fps
RBCD; TFSP 77gr 1015ft-lb 2420fps
it may require hand-loading......
@TFB, you are greatly wrong. This isn't a hollow point. The cavity at the tip is strictly for ballistic coefficient. That's why the shards don't do so much damage - they are not supposed to!
Should work wonders on body armor. Try a 135 grain copper projectile 10mm out of a 6 inch barrel.........and save $6K
AKlover Good point.

I mean it looks kinda cool
Wtf😂😂😂😂😂😂
You’re very fair and unbiased. Clear, brief and to the point. I’m a fan.
My takeaway after seeing the ballistic gel:
1. It has taken down game in the field (e.g. a deer) without much trouble
2. It could be reloaded with swaged down .30 cal XTP bullets for perhaps better terminal performance
I just wanted to thanks lol, I was dying to see results!!!
Totally agree that R1 is the best SW movie.
It’s for soldiers shooting thru chest rigs at 100 yards. And $8,000 is crazy.
Thanks for keepin it real.
The first foot of track in the clear gel isn't bad at all, especially for a pistol.
Yes! Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie! This pistol reminds me of the CZ 52 in 7.62×25. That was a fast light .30 caliber bullet.
Oh boy! You mentioned Star Wars and Rogue one. I have a lot of friends that are huge Star Wars fans....dude get ready If it's no alreadyt too late lol good luck
I agree for 8k you would expect the trigger to be 100% amazing. This pistol cost twice what my KK500 was and that has a sublime trigger.
The most impressive thing is the chrono got that many readings lol ive been waiting for this thanks
California Edc I took them separately. It seems to produce errors when placed in front of the gel.
If it broke the 2200 FPS threshold might be more of a value lmao
_Grammar Nazi mode on_ It's the 7,92 *Kurz*, not the 8 Kertz. _Grammar Nazi mode off_
Now, I know the Brno factory has a good deal of history behind it.
Found the music! Prokofiev's Romeo And Juliet Ballet Op. 64: Montagues And Capulets
I was wrong. It's Huma's From Russia Wiith Love
Lol man this guy is getting a lot of heat.
The SIG P229 in 357Sig with a 6in Bar-Sto barrel can do all that and more!! 😎👍
So basically it's a REALLY expensive .30 carbine for which there are no good softpoints.
Trust me, I'm Czech.
bur naugh
or bur gnaw
Fuck Bruno.
need clarification, so its pronounced "bracenot"?
Yes. Idiot...
Did you see the light in the cavity when it collapsed? That's impressive, usually only fast rifle rounds cause that.
Unfortunately I will never be able to try this ammo because it is banned in Switzerland.
Marius Schmid what?!? That's dumb.
Marius Schmid sorry to hear that mate
Strange. Expanding ammo is good for the bullet not hitting other people. Sub sonic ball ammo for carry?
Come to Wisconsin.
At least you have the multi caliber PSD. You can use the best millimetre barrel with proven loads until someone makes a better 7.5 JHP.
I love it!!
I agree with the bullet assessment for hunting.
Love the music at the end
I will stick with Glock 20 shooting 77gr 10mm moving over 2400feet. Now that is fast. 🇺🇸
Fuck yeah Rouge One baby best part of the review was letting everyone know about Rouge One.....
The pistol is just an expensive test platform for the best PDW cartridge yet.
I've got way better things to do with $8k. Remodel the kitchen perhaps. A new shed w/ concrete floor. A four week trip to the south of France. I'm not wealthy but even the wealthy people I do know have more sense than to drop $8k on a handgun.
You can’t even buy a sub zero for $8000. You can buy a TNW M2 50 Cal BMG for $8000 probably or cheaper
You have the best videos period, definitely not a 44 mag though as they tried to claim, and my dad's nighthawk 9mm 1911 has the best trigger I've ever felt followed by my cgw Sao conversion sp01, also agree rogue one was AWESOME
For that money I’d rather have something in 50bmg.
65 grain 357 extreme defender is moving at 2200+ from the same length barrel you just used
I'll gladly disagree with you if you first send me the pistol so I may find something to disagree about. ;)
Anchor Bait Something similar to TSX but with a more rounded ogive ought to perform well.
Now we just need to figure out, how get one of these guns lol.
Rogue One is the best Disney movie yet.
You said, " maybe it's just a lemon". At 8000 dollars this gun should make a kimber look like a high-point.
Nice boat anchor! People won't buy unless the boat gets thrown in with it.
Or I wish that this was significantly cheaper.
hey hey , ammo is fast to produce , we get it but the guns that fire that ammo have some delicious prices...
Here's to hoping Lehigh Defense makes a 7.5 controlled chaos
What about fmj? Sounds like it could penetrate body armor with a one of those black tips.
Yea, I can watch the ending scene with Lord Vader in Rogue One a million more times and be happy.
This is a combat sidearm, however not torture tested and improved enough.
Damn sounds like his wife sent the divorce papers 30 mins before this was filmed
I was expecting a 4" or 5" wide internal cavity. I've seen 357 magnums leave way more internal damage in ballistics gel.
It is beyond a doubt that the FK BRNO is more powerful than a 22TCM but is it faster ?
I wonder what this company was thinking when they made this design. They have to know they aren't going to sell many of these with the cost
I like the looks of that pistol. reminds you of a sports car, dont it?
I know I am late, but I wonder if the "terminal performance" round wouldn't be better served as a soft point.
How about a comparison between the 7.5FK BRNO and the FN 5.7?
9x25 Dillon has a 95gr @2,000, from a Glock 10mm with a conversion barrel.
THEY NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB, MAKING THE BULLET EXPAND!!! IT SHOULD SPREAD OUT BETTER AS A HOLLOW POINT!
In Russia created analogical gun. Ballistic in experimental pistol in 9x30 "Grom" ("Thunder"; parent case - 9x19 par) - 6.55 g (101 gr) bullet, 600-610 mps (1968-2001 fps). Also, created cartridges 6.5x30 - 780 mps (2560 fps) and 5.45x30 - 3.5 g (54 gr - standart of 5.45x39), 670 mps (2198 fps).
Also, created AO-46 assault rifle, Uzi in 5.45x39, bullet 3.5 g (54 gr), speed 735 mps (2411 fps) in 206.5 mm (8.13") barrel (in standart 415 mm - 16.34" - barrel in AK-74 - 915 mps), 15-round magazine, 700 rpm.
I have never fired this platform but I agree with you on the Tigger issue. I can't stand a crappy trigger.
Just get a Glock 31 .357 sig or Glock 20 in 9x25 Dillon conversion and save $7,500...lol
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO. VERY INFORMATIVE. I WAS WONDERING HOW THE $8000.00 PISTOL COMPARED TO THE 10MM AUTO. I THINK I'LL JUST STICK TO MY GLOCK 29 AND RUN UNDERWOOD 140GR - 180GR AMMO.
An expandable bullet would wicked. Like a gold dot. Would love the see an Underwood extreme penetrator shot thru the gel
If there will be a re-designing of the M1 Carbine, I'd love it to be built that uses the 7.5mm cartridge (with a creation of double-stack magazine). I would also love the Ruger Co. to develop a Ruger 10/7.5 rifle... wouldn't that be nice? :)
Awesome review buddy.
