      I have a question that came up today. If i want to roll two conduits and change the center to center spacing from say 7in to 5.625. What center to center spacing do I use or do i take the average of the two for my adjustment factor?

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  Год назад +1

      @@flyfishnsparky ok so I really need to get to that video I haven't had the time. It's really simple if you sit back and think about it. Dnt complicate it. If you need to change the spacing like you said from 7" to let's say 5 . You need to measure your offset and see how much of an offset you need to do for the conduits to fall at the spacing you want.

    You're teaching me things that I didn't learn at ABC and I understand it more since I've been in the field for 2 1/2 years. Thanks man as a helper moving up pretty quick you've helped me prefect my conduit bending even more.

      Great to hear! Thats exactly what i'm trying to do with this channel. Help bridge the gap a little. Give some of the apprentices that actually want to learn all the "practical information" they need to succeed as quickly as they choose.

    I'm running 2, 3inch and 1, 2inch conduit together. They're vertical parallel one way and have to offset out, kick, and then 90 to a horizontal parallel. Just Like this, but with 90's at the end, going through a window. I'm not sure if this exact method will work for having a different spaces on both ends, bit it sure as he'll helps. Thank you so much, I was just gonna make another offset piece going away from the wall, but if I can roll it instead, that would be better

    If I use formula of tangent 1/2 of the degree divided by 2 for parallel offsets will still work or not for this type of bends rolling offset

    AWESOME Brother!!!
    Thankfully I saw the video to the end. I was wondering why u had the same angles. I think this method is more simple but like you said with the different angles you cant compare. The difference is very noticeable. Looking forward to your next video. I actually Have a parallel rolling offset in my Junk room/ man cave. LOL i was obsessed when learning these.

      I'm glad you watched it to the end too. Or you wouldn't have understood what I was trying to say. I usually plan everything at work. When it comes to these videos I just to on the camera and I go. I think my content is better that way but you have to watch from beginning to end or you might miss something. Thanks for watching.

    Wouldn't that first measurement be 16 and 1/4? .124 would be closer to .125.
