This video features music from the movies; Electric Dreams, American Gigolo, Fletch, NeverEnding Story, Beverly Hills Cop, Gallipoli, Ghostbusters, The Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2 and Godzilla.
The legendary composers of these themes are; Giorgio Moroder, Harold Faltermeyer, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ray Parker Jr, John Williams, Brad Fidel and Jamiroquai.

I tell you... as some one who has been playing synthesizer since the 80s.. this video was AWESOME! Unreal amount of skill..
Thanks mate 🙏
@@lukemillionmusic Just amazing your videos and such a beatiful synth collection
How long would it take me to get decent at it?
@@fibreoptik The harder you practice, the quicker you succeed! :P Practice makes perfect!
@@Pauluz_The_Web_Gnome Perfect practice makes perfect :p
The Fletch theme was awesome.
JMJ - Best recreate i ever hear.
Vintage synths wants the 80s back!
Giorgio Moroder and Harold Faltermeyer would be proud
OMG! at 2 minutes in he plays FLETCH, im deads 😂
Faltermeyer’s stuff is so slick
“Hey Harold, we need a theme to a new Chevy Chase movie and we love what you did with Beverly Hills Cop, but we only have $20 and about 10 minutes.” “Yeah, I think I can come up with something”
Great series
Ecto-1 on the keyboard is a nice touch. I didn't even know Meco made "The Empire Strikes Back" theme.
80's synth Imperial March is so awesome, I think Darth Vader himself would have it as his ringtone lol
My brain can not comprehend how you were able to play that Harold Faltermeyer bass and lead at the same time. It’s just not humanly possible.
Watch someone playing organ - 2 hands + 2 feet :D
@@DonPedro6901 yeah that’s also crazy seen a few videos of that - mind blown 🤯
In fletch
Oh no Beverly Hills Cop/Axel Foley
You don’t actually see him play the DX7 and Prophet 5 at the same time.
pointing during Ghostbusters, yes yes, love it!
I love you put Jamiroquai on there, was not expecting that
Instantly transported to a time when music ignited the soul in movies. 😃
Gotta love that guitar sound from the Emulator II.
Jarre - wow… I’ve played it countless times and this was flawless
Dude, Electric Dreams is my go-to for music and 80s feel. Moroder did such a fantastic job!
You are a dark lord of the synth my friend
His synth collection must be worth an insane amount of money
at least 50k from what I've seen in 2 videos alone
The dude has a Prophet 5, a very coveted and very sought after synth.
he mostly collect everything second hand so perhaps half that 50k
OMG dude! I had such goosebumps when I heard Oxygene 2 start
Обожаю музыку 80-ых! хоть и сам 94-го года! и сам балуюсь написанием ретро!)
pure synth magic!
Damn, That Jean Michel Jarre part was recreated perfectly on those synths. Outstanding.
That John Williams tune is so funny, love it
Fantastic. Hint for follow up: airwolf. Ein fall fur zwei. (Epic German synth tv theme!!!)
That is a great theme!
I’ve been doing this for around 3 years. I can barely string two notes together. This is SO inspiring. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome :)
This is an honest question- Are you exaggerating that you can barely string two noted together? In those 3 years, how often and how long do you practice? Or do you mainly just mess around with the waveforms?
The fact that you're able to do all of this without a synthesizer is astounding.
The humor of this is sadly under appreciated. 😃
?
Greatest thing since "Vangelis: unplugged"
😆
😆
The song from Fletch!!! 🏆
Wishing to be in a live concert with this great synth musician...wonderful
Very good ! ! Very nice the love you have for analog synths and the 80s !!
Dude, you nailed it. Not just that you sound like original 99% (Axel F bass needs a pitch bend a little for example) you have impressive (and expensive) collection of functional vintage gear.
We had the Imperial March as the recessional music for our wedding. Now I wish it had been your version.
Okay, i`m a musician too. But it`s amazin`how deep all these sounds and songs are burned into the brain. Only one tone of a song ( from the 80`s ) is enough, and we all know what song it is.
And we all know, what we did when we listen to it the first time. The best time of our life !!!!!!
PS. The moog-sound in Deeper Underground is so brutal, love it !!!!
This is incredibly entertaining to me.
I was a child during the 80's and this brings back memories. The performances by Luke here are top notch in my opinion.
4:01 is the song that got me into electronic music as a kid. Well done!
I wasn't familiar with Gallipoli, but as soon as you started playing it I instantly knew it was a Jean-Michel Jarre. Such as amazing couple of albums between Oxygene and Equinoxe.
Oxygene always gives me goosebumps. What a brilliant reproduction!
Search for Radek Tymecki
I second this emotion ! I have replayed it at least 5 times now ...
its cool these days you can do all on one workstation instead of so many seperate machines :) old school still rocks
This is ridiculous! You instantly teleported me back to 90% of the movies I recall. Thank you so much. Your skills are insane and it’s so cool to see how much joy it brings you. Keep doing what makes you happy! Knowing artists like you are out there bringing smiles, gives us something more to look forward to in our love for music. That Prophet...need I say more??? Keep it up. Subscribed instantly!
Thank you so much. Support like this is what keeps me making music :)
your fletch is spot on , in awe !
Would love to hear you do a full version of “Electric Dreams!”
Giorgo Moroder… forever the boss ! And JM Jarre too, i’m French 😉
😍😍😍 That first one... such memories! "I WANT TO MEET HER, MOLES!"
You are phenomenal, I wish I could play like you. Have thought for years about learning to play the piano so I could get a keyboard and start learning to play all the songs I love from the 80's, to which as far as i'm concerned was the best era for music. Watching your video's gave me the inspiration to go for it and have since started lessons. Thank you Luke for being the inspiration to get me started on my journey.
You bloody rock. So entertaining, skilled & talented... Make more records please...
Thank you. Lot's of new music on the way!
Well you just destroyed what I thought was my life's greatest achievement of being able to play the bassline and melody from Axel F at the same time! Such a great video. Oxygene 2 was just perfect!
Great achievement indeed!
OMG.. Fletch!! LOVE for that!
Luke Million... my shaggy friend! Super good.
Their are software plug-in’s to emulate many of those keyboards, but they just don’t compare to the real thing. This is a keyboard paradise.
The song from Fletch!!! 🏆🏆🏆
The Oxygen part was awesome.

You hit my feelings right in the middel of my heart...................with this 5,25" Floppy drive on your keyborad or synti.
I freak out! Fantastic! Who you gonna call? Luke Million!
Fletch was so good, took me right back to my childhood.
Man, you are living the life. Well done!
This is some genius stuff right there man good job
Talented by God!. Give Him Glory!
Man, love all the analogue synths/gear.... in working order!
I got goosebumps when i heard terminator, sooo good 😉
I love the bass sound of that Moog bass synth!
this guy is the BEST
You synthesizer make me energetic
I really likr this mate ❤
Absolutely brilliant playing technique on all these tracks. Superb!
Thank You 🙏
That OB8 sounds amazing.
Impressive presentation, Luke 👍
Looks really wonderful, delighted to be here!
Appreciate the post, thank you so much!
Have a great Thursday Friend🥰
Keep up the spectacular work!
Bravo! As soon as I heard the Fletch theme I thought here we go! So glad this was randomly recommended to me by the YT algorithm!!
As an '80s kid myself, I'm absolutlely in love with your channel. This is so great!
I love that Moog bass
Dam another epic adventure back in time Luke thanks for breaking all barriers of time space and sound. You are the man!
I have that same software for my E-Mu E II and Emaxes! I honestly found myself working with a 25 year old Windows laptop as my "computer". I found it eons ago and eventually hooked up a MOTU MIDI Express XT to the parallel port and a bunch of Sycologics. I switched from Traction as my DAW to that and some Tascam D-88s a friend of mine was getting rid of. I fell in love with the simplicity of it. I get lost and distracted by the DAW approach. Plus, if I sit down at a beefy computer, I'll start playing video games.
The Imperial March on synth is something I didn't know I needed to hear
These synths sound really pleasing to my ears. Eargasms
You are like an 80’s man in todays modern world !!!!
Ok, your "together in electric dreams" was SPOT ON. Congrats! It's one of my favorite songs from the era, and the movie is still an absolute favorite.
Grandi Ricordi della Musica Eccelsa...Bravo Amico per avermela riproposta....Grandi macchine da Musica....
Nothing like the '80s!
Love it
.
......................man those sounds are so so good.............drum machine tracks....................done...............!!
The vocoder is the original autotune. This was amazing, great musician.
When I was in my teens, my parents bought me a nice Yamaha top of the line synthesizer. I miss that and would love to get my hands on another analog synthesizer
Hey Luke, what you do is incredible 😃!!!
Im sitting here listening to your fantastic skills, and i miss the 80:s sooooooo much !

"We always stay together, forever in electric music dreams!"thank you so much, luke👏🙏may the music still be with you!🤗
Whoa, I remember that from the movie Fletch. Awesome!

You should really do some industrial mixs from the era, because all this gear you got is out of this world!
Ahhh wonderful! Thumbs up.
Thank you!
I'm speechless, I'll just listen.. 👍
8:57 WUUUUU that bassss is killer! :O
man that string ensemble just gave me a mr crowley kind of vibe...
There are so many well meaning musicians on RUclips attempting song recreations, but you my good sir, have done some epic work here! 👏😉
Not only your playing is outstanding, your ability to program your synths to get the sounds you need. Well done
That room such a playground ! 😍
Love these Luke! Hope to hear some Tangerine Dream - Le Parc (a la Streethawk intro). Was a fun series to watch.
That was sooooooo gooooood!!!!!! Thank you Luke Million!!! Your videos are the best, thank you for being so consistently inspiring.
Absolutely loved watching and listening to these 80's hit recreatons!
They were spot on, wonderful.
It also shows the brilliance of the original composers and how they wove all the pieces together to create their timeless classics.
Thank you.
