I've wanted this for 5 years, and finally got one. I love it. I mainly use it for grocery runs on my bike. I can get plenty of groceries plus fit all my work clothes in it, and a change of clothes after work. What I didn't expect is how easy the backpack is to slide on and off my shoulders. My previous backpack I would have to fight and wrestle to get on and off my shoulders. The Vandal also distributes weight a lot better, so I don't start losing circulation in my arms like my previous backpack. P.S. I noticed in the comments people complaining about the limes spilled onto the street, I believe that was intentional to convey the theme of the backpack, "The VANDAL." 😆
I just purchased this bag with the limited edition dark camo and metal buckle...incredible bag and with all my MMA gear, cooked food for the day (2 x steel food canisters + OR pouch and Thermos lunch bag), my laptop, PS Vita, bike lock, newly purchased spare DH Halo Contra tire (which hung on the outside of the bag via the strap) and large bag of groceries (which sat high on the large compartment as if it was floating). Also all my letters and business documents. At the end of the day I've topped 55 pounds but it feels like 10 pounds while walking and waiting for buses and subways! Didn't know there is an MW Arkiv system on the straps so I could slide the cell phone pouch on my left side (doesn't fit my Note 3 but good for subway passes and condo garage openers while on bike or on the move). Was caught in a snowstorm one day and then pouring rain with mud puddles the next day...bag took a beating and mud cleans off nicely. I've organized stuff in separate organizers because each of the four compartments are really deep and all my training gear is rolled up in deflatable travel air bags and packed vertically with a wet bag for the end of the day dirty gear.
I have a regular school back pack that can hold up to 25 pounds worth of groceries, it's so heavy I barely make it home on my bicycle without a heart attack. You best be transporting cotton balls with this monster
I am looking for the color: digi camo for vandal but it seems like in Singapore the only colour left is Green and Black. Will Mission Workshop come up with the camo edition online? Maybe i can buy it online.
what is the volume of the bag - in liters.? the camo color is very smart-this makes it literally an army bag as it's waterproof. you had the correct idea. very very smart.

Not to mention the camera guy is recording during this time so nobody is going to suddenly rush over and take off with it (since thieves are naturally COWARDS).

Good lord, the bag empty itself is near 5 pounds. 12 pack 10 pounds, pineapple - veg - limes- potatoes 15-20 lbs.
