Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the ex-CIA operative who stopped at nothing to rescue his daughter from sadistic kidnappers. What always cracks me up in this movie is the unintentionally funny bit where the daughter is just casually throwing grenades off the roof to the street to help Bryan locate her... I am just wondering how many random people on the street she killed in the process.

I’ve explained this to so many people, especially those who don’t understand what countries are a part of the U.K. I’m American though so I’m surrounded by people who know very little about the rest of the world lol. Most Americans also actually think the U.K. is just England. 😂

I really liked Taken 3 it was a very interesting story and very different. A good ending to the trilogy. You should watch it! You never know
It was a bit too predictable in my opinion but you are correct. I personally enjoyed 3 more than 2.
On the whole lack of showing the mourning of her friend issue, I have settled that in my head with the simple fact that the story is not actually about the daughter. It is about her father and what he was willing to do to get her back. We can assume that the daughter has normal, human, emotions and empathy so her mourning can be taken as happening, just happening off-camera.
An alternative is that mourning can take a long time to 'gestate', it doesn't always happen at the moment or on cue. At one point in my life I lost almost every close friend I had in a car accident. Whilst it was a shock and it saddened me and I missed them, it took nearly ten years for the grief to manifest ... and, oh boy, what a day that was!
Jane's freestyle was awesome.
I'm glad I'm not the one that wonders why the bad guys get mad, and want to get even with others. when their family members started it by hurting many innocent people. They can dish it, but they can't take it.
Y'all have come this far in the Taken franchise. You HAVE TO do the 3rd one!!!!

3rd is the worst one by far though. I much prefer everything ended on the second movie.

If you know the history of Liam Neeson. He was originally an Irish teacher who ended up beating up a student for being disrespectful. Liam, got fired, and never wanted to be an actor. Yet, he soon became an actor.
You guys would love the Mission Impossible franchise! IMO all the movies are so well made and right up your alley! Love the reaction as always
First one was a little messy, second one was the weakest but every movie after was progressively better!
@@wampatan9 I agree, I think I remeber the older ones being really good because back then there weren't many action/spy movies so it was fun to watch, but looking back the newer ones are WAY better.
@@cyte5148 Fun is the right word haha! The first was very stylish and almost comic-book like which had its own charm. MI2 was just too cheesy. But the newer movies are written so well and the supporting cast is really really good too.

Imagining Tom hanks in a mission impossible movie that takes place in space made me laugh much harder than it should have. Thank you haha
If you think about it, when Bryan’s friend Sam helped him in the first film, telling him about how this Marco guy came from a rotten place full of the same rotten kind of people, you can confirm it in this movie. The man’s father wanted revenge in the worst way possible, going as far as he could. Since he didn’t care his men dying, or his own comrades killing each other, it was all for accomplishing revenge. And about the thing about the grenades, it’s crazy, but this strengthens the fact that Bryan looks out for his family only. It’s obvious since the first film, going as far as hurting innocent people. The same applies here; asking his daughter for throwing grenades even if it could destroy buildings, hurting people.. everything is for them and ONLY them. Kim understood that, that’s why she kept doing what Bryan asked him to do. It may be a little too far at some point, but the point is gotten pretty good in these films
Bryan only hurt a single innocent in the first movie - the corrupt cop's wife. And even then, she knew one of the traffickers by name. Everyone was complicit to some degree.
The grenades ? Eh, it's not like she threw them through windows. Explosions aren't necessarily big, contrary to popular belief.

Shaky Cams? The MCU mastered that and so did most of the movies from the 2,000s to 2015s. And you can still currently find movies that use it. Doesn’t bother me that much during real fight scenes but does bother me during CGI mixed with real fight scenes.

The theatrical version of this movie completely changes the synchrony of events thus changing the storyline. It made no sense! The editors ruined the film in my opinion. Watch the directors cut it makes more sense and shows the movie the way it was intended. Making it a much better film!
