Depending on location it could be one of the Barbets. Northern India would be the Brown headed barbet ( ruclips.net/video/t7poE0AfK7M/видео.html ) and in Western ghat areas it could be the white cheeked barbet ( ruclips.net/video/DTY7iamr2Oo/видео.html ) and another candidate would be Coppersmith barbet ( ruclips.net/video/DhFXwTf3_N4/видео.html ). Our guess would be Brown headed barbet 😊😊

Since the past few weeks, the variety of birds in my locality has increased significantly(previously only pigeons)..which has gotten me interested into birds.
Any tips on how to get good at bird identification? I live at 40th floor and swarms of sparrow-sized birds keep on flying quickly around my windows at 12. I was wondering if I can feed it something, once I find it's species

It should be mostly Barn Swallow, ruclips.net/video/f5e_iGkjrwY/видео.html. But sometimes Asian Palm Swift also can be seen if some waterbodies and palm trees are nearby your place. They don't need any feeding. They catch insects. Here is a video for common urban birds ruclips.net/video/MqfVjwjg-Ws/видео.html To know more details and for identification you can check this book www.amazon.in/Birds-Indian-Subcontinent-Carol-Inskipp/dp/019807722X
