I really like the way you did the kick up on the frame at the firewall. I’ve done this kind of stuff before and just mitered and welded the stuff together but that looks really nice the way you did it !
Thanks ,It just kind of worked out that way with the 6” tall main rail. I wanted it that tall because I knew I was going to notch the tube for the front floor and still have enough material for strength and it would end up being full height where I tied it to the rear subframe.
Falcon is looking great . I'm like a lot of other people I had a Falcon just like yours in the neighborhood that I wanted to buy and build like you are doing . Never could get an answer when I rang the doorbell numerous times . It was a really nice car that never moved , I don't know if it ran or not but it was in good shape . Well I went by to check on it and a Miata was parked where the falcon had been , the Miata looked like it didn't run and drive and then one day it was gone and from what I could tell the people had moved . I really liked the Falcon and I built the car in my head and I had the same ideas as what you are doing . Damn I would like to have had that Falcon . Your Falcon is really cool and keep on doing great fabrication . Great video .
I enjoy watching your videos. Four years ago I built a 62 falcon that was given to me by a friend . This car rested in a field for over twenty years . Before this build I had completed a 89 fox body mustang race car. Having all mustang drive train left over, these parts went into the falcon. Enjoy driving the falcon a lot on the track and street. I can truly enjoy your build, one mod at a time. Thanks!
Thanks.. I think I may have mentioned in the first video this build is inspired by a friend of mine's car in high school. Getting close on the rear suspension just waiting on some springs. Next I think I'm going to set the engine in and see how much cutting I have to do... Thanks for watching..
In high school 1980-82 I raced a gasser style ‘62 Ranchero. It just had simple leaf springs and shocks on the back and a tube front axle on the front with leaf springs. It had a tiny 289/C4 and 5.43 gears out back and ran 11.80’s in the quarter mile. That was quick in that day as there was no aftermarket for SBF’s at that time (pre 5.0 era). It got a lot of attention at west Texas drag strips and I actually won several races which would upset the old guys because I was a 16-17 year old kid.....the good old days. I have another ‘62 Ranchero and dropped a 5.0 EFI engine in it 20 years ago but have never finished it. Fixing to get back on it and get it drivable. Good luck on your project and it will all come together with time and you will have a lot of fun with it.
Good project, I'm like you getting old can't see to weld like I use to. Pisses. me off

Looking great, I am going to be doing the same thing with my 64 comet. Your videos are really helping out, thank you.
Doing great work. I'm enjoying your build.
Thanks
I'm starting a '64 Falcon gasser. Thanks for the videos.
Everyone does it learn as you go! Love the project!
@@robertmungo5428 Thanks
Planning on my own 66 dart gasser build. I am taking notes. Keep it going.

nice job
Thanks!
Love the build, just wish you would show some of the actual process. Little less talk and a lot more rock. 😂
So time lapse? That doesn’t really show anything other than people moving really really fast. Videos get too long for nothing.
God one to watch is this n that garage chad shows actual work being done not bunch yapping unless hes explaining something real quick.
Cool car man.. great to see you using your talents to build something grouse.. I'm liking your content keep it up mate..
Every build has some setbacks , you get though it keep up the good work Sir.
It's looking good so far and you'll figure it out
Show your work (timelapse). Great project! 😎👍👍
Good looking project figure it out as you go can’t wait to see it as a roller!
I see all these wannabes making videos.the true tech is only known.making a car from fab is not easy
Please tell me it's going to be Ford powered, not Chevy!
Got a Coyote sitting in it so yeah. Check out the other build videos.ruclips.net/p/PLJn8QK1cTw9QoQb5nF1W3b3Z1k3APTUv5
