So much attention to detail in the TCM Remembers tributes. Notice how the word "funny" in the lyric comes when Buddy Hackett is on the screen, and how the candle from Katharine Hepburn's scene in "Lion in Winter" mirrors the candles that appear immediately afterward. Subtle touches that add to the beauty and emotional impact of this tribute.

Watched this when it came out in 2003. Was with my grandmother and my aunt. My grandmother passed a few years ago and I still think of that moment when we watched it together. Always touches my heart and makes it both ache and feel happiness. We loved a lot of these stars. Pity.

Sheb Wooley, lots of character acting in westerns, TV and movie. He was in High Noon. But as a kid, I will never forget a novelty song that turned out to be a hit, sung by Sheb Wooley "One Eyed One Horned Flyin Purple People Eater". Every kid in my grade school was walking around singing that silly song. ALSO, he had an alter ego and sang comedy take offs of hits. Fifteen Beers Ago (Fifteen years ago by Conway Twitty)

O.K., so in 2004 we lost Donald O'Connor (Singing In the Rain) John Ritter (Three's Company) Johnny Cash, Horst Buchholz (Magnificent Seven) BOB HOPE, Charles Bronson, Gregory Peck and Katharine Hepburn.
