When I had day time commitments outside of home (work and study etc) I would get so exhausted when I got home that if I didn't get dinner and a cuppa right away I would lie down on my bed for 6 hours without moving. Now I realise it was a combination of: chronic fatigue, austism masking, and executive dysfunction. Now I work from home and I structure my schedule around being a night owl.
This is so needed for me right now and oddly exactly in line with how I’d been feeling lately. I want to live my life, not just watch others live their lives (social media, RUclips, etc). I love the idea of an afternoon/evening routine and will see what I can build into my life. Thank you for the ideas!! 🧡
I totally agree with that..."not just watch other live their lives". I find that not getting on social media right before bed or first thing in the morning really helpful for not fixating on other people and what they're doing, but pouring into myself.
As someone who is struggling to overcome perfectionism, I really appreciate your comment about how it's okay to just do what feels good without always having the goal of bettering yourself. Balance is so key, and tuning into what you need. This is another great video of yours, thank you!
your videos just leave me so motivated and inspired.....even the difficult things seems to be possible....thank you so much for inspiring us always😃😃❤❤
Absolutely loved this video, have been struggling with my afternoons lately and needed these ideas! I’m going to try it out after work today. Thanks Michelle ♥️
Instead of having one regular length shower a day, people could split it into two short showers. One in the morning where you wash your hair & do a light wash of your body. Then a second one where you tie up your hair & do a full clean of your body in the evening. That second wash in summer is so good.
You seriously inspire me every day to become the best version of myself. Thank you Muchelle, your videos are always to the point with so much information. Sending you nothing but love and positivity
It’s so easy to fall into the trap of always wanting to improve yourself and your life. Thank you for that ”get out of jail, free card” at the end. Love your channel!
Such a helpful video! I often feel anxious about wasting my after-work evenings and not being my most productive self after work. Defs going to apply your advice, thank you ❤
Thank you Muchelle. This was an amazing video. I love your content. I always think of a "morning routine" and a "nighttime routine" but never an afternoon routine. This is brilliant. Thank you ❤️
Great video Michelle! I haven't put much thought into whether I had an afternoon (early evening) routine, but after watching, I realize I do have a pretty solid routine in place, but I allow for flexibility. It usually consists of some type of movement (a walk, doing a dance fitness routine, or pilates), prepping dinner, tidying my kitchen, and working on my next videos. Appreciate all of the tips!
I have been watching this channel for years and have never commented before. But this video really spoke to me even more than the others and I want to say a huge thank you.
How to increase energy in the afternoon - you got me at this point!! The 3pm slump....its a difficult time to be motivated right? Thanks for putting this video out there as its very useful and practical - go slow but don't stop! I like it!
Such positivity radiating from this video. Tips are going to be so much help. Thank you so much. I've not thought of the future self and present self checklists before you mentioned them.
I was going to leave a bitter comment about there soon being a routine for sitting on the toilet, but having watched the video, it was actually super helpful. Thanks.
As an American, I googled what arvo means and then soon after I watched a movie that was set in Australia and an American asked them what does arvo mean 🤣
Calling yoga nidra 'NSDR' is like calling cornrows 'boxer braids'. It is deprives an ancient practice of all its cultural significance, and is an act of appropriation. Why does yoga nidra need to be relabelled it into a yet another bland self-help technique? So it can be palatable to modern white palates?
This channel is my happy place, gives me so much confidence that I can achieve everything I want, thank you Michelle ✨

I sometimes feel like I shouldn't do anything after lunch, whatever I was doing will later feel like torture then procrastination sets in
Serious question. Is your lamp pink? Or is it your video colour grading?
So it all required focus in all things
Nice
Go on we are hearing you
Good

What is arvo?
I had to google it cause I didn't know either, lol. It's Australian slang for afternoon.
As an American, I googled what arvo means and then soon after I watched a movie that was set in Australia and an American asked them what does arvo mean 🤣
So beautiful 😍
I had to google what arvo meant lol 😁

the accent is just like mine-
I adore you and the messages you give out to the world but sometimes I really wish you talked slower. Everything seems so rushed
dont sit down "sits down"

Thanks for shedding light on that!
