Then I watched a video of a tour around the mall featured in said movie, called the Valley View Center Mall, during which this song ended up playing at one point. Eventually I learned about Shazam, an app to recognize music, put my smartphone while recording against my headphones and finally managed to figure out this songs name. And now I'm here! With the unexpected knowledge about this almost half a century old banger! And I bet there's more where this comes from. Looking at you Toshiki Kadomatsu!

Literally the same exact thing I did haha. Wouldn't be too bad if this played while being hunted by the rolling giant lol.
Kadomatsu's music is so experimental, I love it. Not your "typical" city pop (even though typical city pop still slaps)
And he has produced so many songs for other artists too.
