Even Queen didn't sing the middle section live. They played the video of it and left the stage. Then, Brian led them back onstage with a guitar intro to the third part. Try Forestella doing Bad Romance or Shape of You.
Thanks for reacting to Forestella's Bohemian Rhapsody. As you've heard, Forestella is so very versatile, not least in singing so well in different languages. Two of the singers are Opera trained which would include singing in languages. Not so easy for Bae and Kang though. Kang was a research scientist until he was 30 when he entered the singing competition. Listen to Shape Of You for a feel as to how well they handle languages, and how languages shape the feel of a song.
You can sing in other languages without learning the language. Opera singers must be able to sing in Italian, even if they are not Italian, and they also usually sing in Spanish, English, German and Russian - the main languages used in opera. I think all of the members of Forestella speak English to some extent, but I have only heard Mingyu speak at length to a crowd, the others usually only say a few words. I know mingyu did a presentation at a music conference in English a few years ago. He also spoke some German to a German fan a few days ago at one of their concerts.
Koreans usually learn English from kindergarten to undergraduate school and more although they don't converse in English coz they have their own language but their understandings for English are very high. Forestella always studies the songs before they sing as i know and they speak English. They even sing song in Spanish, French and even African Julu. I don't think they speak julu but they still can sing 😂 Thank you for reacting Bohe🎉mian rhapsody which was nice.
only one of them is relatively fluent in english. but forestella is a classical crossover quartet so it is de rigueur for them to sing in multiple languages. they are up to 8 so far. korean, english, italian, spanish, french, latin, russian and even some african zulu.
Thanks for your amazing reaction to Forestella again! They first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because we can see their acting in the performance there. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella. About the languages, they can sing in various languages like Italian, Spanish, French, Russian, Latin, isiZulu, German other than Korean and English. The leader of Forestella Cho MinGyu has a huge passion for foreign languages. He sang Speechless in 8 languages and Into the Unknown in 12 languages. You can find those in his channel. I'm curious of your reaction to his Kill This Love feat. Harry Potter concept with British accent.
Nice réaction . Abt language, I can tell u I heard some of them in french, Ko Worim the bass, in an old french song. His french is perfect , in details and emotions. Same for the others in Spanish...
I often wondered about if the meaning, in another language, is often crossed over... For a couple of days, I have listened to "Voyage Voyage" by Desireless (it was on your video "GEN X'ers try to Guess the Song | 1980-1990") and the meaning does seem to come through even though I can't understand the lyrics.
Hello guys 😊 a very nice reaction. They really have nice voices. But If u want to hear a voice u never heard before, would u consider reacting to Dimash? He is a singer from Kazakhstan. He is considered the best vocalist of this generation by many vocal and music experts. He has almost 8 octaves range, covering vocal registers from bass to soprano. He sings in many ganres - opera, rock, pop, jazz even rap.... I promise, you never heard anything like that 😊 I would recommend u to react either for SOS (either version from the Singer show, which was 6 years ago, or version from 2021 digital concert version) or Stranger ( composed specifically for his exceptional vocal range, New Wave version).... U can thank me later 😁😁😁😁

Seriously this is LIVE. They are on another level. Thank you for your reaction.

Yeah, I think some songs just 'work' in many languages but a lot probably just get lost in translation.
