Happy to know new brands with details here. For me, this brand looks like Greenlight (police and ambulance staff things) I hope to find this out here. Actually in S.Korea, hard to get 1/64 diecasts. BTW many thxs !!
Yeah in some ways it is similar to Greenlight but with a more international focus. Sorry to hear 1/64 scale is difficult in South Korea.
I love this YT channel, I'm still learning english and your english is very clear for me.
Karl - always nice to get your thoughts on some out of market brands. I think it was a very thorough and fair assessment of the ERA line. Always learning something here. Appreciate it. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Thanks, I really enjoy making these.
One of the reasons why I wasn't sure about starting my collection with 1:64 is that I love the opening parts in bigger diecast. I love the fact that there are smaller brands that give the full experience
Yeah quite a few brands have opening parts but it always compromises the model a little more than is ideal. Larger scales are definitely better suited for that kind of thing.
@@StingerDiecast but is this brand a real 1/64 scale?
Really enjoying this channel lots of fun and great info on lines I never knew existed! Thanks for the great content 👍🤙🏻
Cool, glad it's proving interesting. Thanks.
Excellent explanation of the brand Karl. It’s great to see the different examples from ERA Car. Good showcase my friend. 😘😘😘👍👍👍👍
Thanks Bog.
Nice stock car brand. This is more of everyday cars. Truly like it a lot, I am definitely giving a chance.
I don't really see "Era Car" models at the same view as Mini GT, i see them more like a combination of a deluxe Majorette or Mathbox model, mainly because their cars have opening parts like Majorette does and they seem to have a lot of utility vehicles like Matchbox does. It's definitely an interesting brand to collect with nicely quirky models out there. Thanks for making this video.
Thank you, it is definitely a cool brand once you get to know it.
Just took a stab and purchased the yellow Integra you showcased, it looks real good! For 16 pounds on Amazon, it's abit steep, but hopefully I won't be disappointed! The details look great! Can't help but subscribe!
@Junaed Wahid theyre fantastic! Ive only got the one right now but as for that, I'm over the moon! I have a full video about it
The Dubai Police Mercedes G63 and the Portugese Police Nissan GTR are awesome - I think I will start collecting some of these - thanks Karl!
The Portugese Police GTR might be my favorite Era Car release.
I Live in America and I never heard of this brand before nice!
Cool, glad I could introduce you to it.
Oh my beautiful castings 👍👍
Another great informative video. I had one era car already and hope to get some more in my collection.
Thanks, glad to hear you're planning to add some more.
Got an Advan Honda Integra Type R with a race car driver. Coolest model I bought. For sure it got me interested in Dirama (I think that’s how you spell it)
I recently got a red GTR Nismo and a GTR50 Test Version from EraCar. It doesn't feel like it has the same quality as some other brands, as there are some minor fitment and QC issues (obvious panel gaps in the Nismo and my GTR50's hood looked like some black paint was chipped or peeled, and there was tape residue mark on the black paint), but I'm still overall satisfied with what it offers.
I feel like EraCar fits well alongside Tomica Premium and MINI GT in the midrange. QC and some details seem a bit lesser than MGT, but has opening parts like TP with better interior and has wing mirrors. Also the fact that they actually have street version GTRs and not the 70th Pandem/LBWK/RB/whatever version.
Yeah, the opening parts on some of the models are the main weakness. I haven't had any other major issues with quality on the ones I have but the doors on the GT-r Nismo especially often don't close as well as I would like. That almost turned me off to the brand at first but once I just decided to accept it I was able to become a fan.
ERA is one brand I do not own yet. I need to order one.
Definitely worth checking out at least one.
Great review Karl, I really like era car I have a few Police cars and Ambulances and do rate them 👍
Thanks Ben, it's become a really fun brand to collect. Glad to hear you appreciate them too.
Love Era Car
I’ve been collecting the hell out of these. I love this brand; maybe not more than Mini GT, but…
Yeah, definitely a fun brand to collect.
This brand basically stopped releasing new cars. Idk whats going on with them. last casting I bought was the Lexus LC500 and that was a few years ago.
Very nice..not seen before..
Thanks Brian, glad I could introduce you to the brand.
Awesome my friend
Thank you
i like their uk police livery
That G.N.R. car was a a drug aprehended veichle converted to that organ transport task.
I think it's like anything you have to give it a chance to me it looks a cool brand people get too bent out of shape about how something looks if you want out right accuracy it's not for you that's the way I look at it 👍👍
I think Era is actually a pretty accurate brand. Not the ultimate in detail but what is there they clearly try to make reasonably accurate where they can which is something I really like about the brand.
Awesome collection bro
Thanks Zelda
Speaking of Beyond Hot Wheels… are you aware of the brand HKM? I recently saw a Honda EG6 and they will be releasing a pink one soon. I missed out on the Ignition Model pink Pandem EG6 and have been looking for one. Did some research and I see HKM also made a Jesko. But I have not heard of this brand before and wanted to see if you knew anything.
Yeah, I have seen that brand but don't have anything from them yet. The Civic looks pretty cool and they also have a Singer Porsche which looks interesting. I may order one in the future we'll see. Where did you see the Jesko? I tried looking on ebay and didn't find it.
The Jesko isn’t released yet, but it looks really good.
@@StingerDiecast I pasted a link here yesterday… might have been removed 😂
Nice review 👍
Thank you
Do they all come with right side drive?
Please do on Tomica
Yep, that will come eventually. Thanks.
If you don't mind me asking, are the wing and wing mirrors plastic or metal? They look plastic as with most brands of this class
I’ve actually been eyeing that Pet Ambulance for a while now. But the ones I saw had a dog on the bed, instead of a cat. I’m not sure if there’s two variations of it or if they used the dog for promotional pics then decided to change it to a cat for the actual release. Anyway, that’s interesting
Interesting, haven't seen it with a dog. The cat is really tiny so a dog may have been a better choice.
@@StingerDiecast I can’t seem to post links here but you can go to Speed70’s website and search ‘pet ambulance’ and you’ll see both versions of it. I’d say both are the same size, but I do find the dog to be funnier haha
@@ficki4615 the sick pug is definitely more amusing. Thanks for pointing out that site too, I wasn’t aware of that, I’ve been looking for more options to get stuff direct from Hong Kong.
Dont have any ERA cars, they also remind me of Tomica castings. Hopefully the paint is better.
Haven't seen any major issue with paint and quality has been pretty good so far. The fit on some of the moving parts is the only issue with the brand that I have.
Just ordered my first Era car. They have a weird RT PCR cassette car.... Weird brand. I got a Suzuki van since we have TONS is Suzukis in India.
I've seen that PCR car, definitely very strange.
Do you know the production number of those brands you presented? Autoworld has it on their card.
Most international brands don't really publish that information, seems to largely be a US market thing. Because of that there are some Mijo exclusive releases of Era Car for the US market that will have limited edition numbers on them. Most I've seen are around 3,600 but I think that might just be the number in the Mijo blister packaging and independent of the number released in international packaging which is unknown. If you open cars like I do there is no benefit to the Mijo limited editions.
Can you tell me what is the name of this cars hot wheels or era?
Where to buy in india
Merhaba İstanbul dan yazıyorum bir düzine oyuncak araba almak istiyorum nasıl alınır nereden alınır
Can someone pls tell me how rare are 1:87 hotwheels made in 2007 available in mint condition
I can't help with that but it's interesting to learn that those exist had never seen them before.
All I want is details that are above average, have rolling wheels.
Yeah, I think they do have that. Not super premium level details but overall they're pretty good and they definitely strive to be accurate. It's really only the opening parts that can be a little hit and miss. Mostly the doors though, they seen to be pretty good on hoods and tailgates.

They look more like tomica to me.
Yes, on many levels they are similar to Tomica Premium.
Every single time you want to have a steady look at the item this guy is just moving the stuff all over...
Hi Paul, thank you you're the first to comment on this on any of my videos, can you point to some specific scenarios where you found a particular issue? I'm trying to balance keeping the video moving with showing the cars and it's possible maybe I've gone too far on the keeping moving side in this one. I'll try to watch it again with this in mind but if there's an issue I'd like to correct it in future videos. Thanks.

That should solve your dilemma.... 🤦♂️
