Yes indeed if it was not for his mistakes especially, it would not be an immortal game of Tal. It would be an ordinary chess game maybe. Thanks for watching.
I would like to see some of the games Tal lost. It seems every chess channel on RUclips shows all of Tal's victories. Tal's career winning percentage was 40% which is not all that great. Alekhine had a 58% followed by Steinitz, Lasker, and Fischer at 55% Capablanca at 52% Euwe Boatvinnck at 47% and the Kasperov at 42%
Tal was typically actually a very solid player (hence the record-breaking loss-less streaks). He is famous for the sacrifices but that wasn't reflective of his regular play.
I would like to see some of Tal's games against Korchnoi or Keres where he is facing players that were not intimidated by him. Tal has got to be the most overrated chess player ever.
@@erichoffmann8515 As you know in chess it takes 2 players to create a masterpiece and yes, Tal lost his fair share of games. Many of them have been covered by various creators here on youtube, and many of them are as spectacular as his victories. I don't know why you seem to have a personal vendetta against Tal. He was a world champion. I don't think he is overrated - but he is highly romanticized. However, he has earned that respect from both chess fans and his peers, because of the creations he made on the board.
I have nothing against Tal loved his first match with Boatvinnck but don't know what the difference between romanticized and over rated. I am just don't worship at the alter of Tal. He was a solid player but he is not as good as everyone says
@Oissev Onos well spoken, dear onos. He also had a minus score (11) against polugaevsky. Also against Stein and maybe even Geller, not sure though. But that in no way takes any credit away from being a very attacking and creative player.he is wonderful to watch. But thks for a well argued post. By the way, long time no see. Have a good day.thks for the post.
An absolutely brilliant game by tahl. And the last minute surprises were breathtaking. No wonder they call him the magician from Riga. Great game.

Thanks 👍 👍 👍 👍
Awesome game. I think that Yasser Seirwan analyzed this game in his book Winning Chess Tactics. Thank you.
You are welcome, thanks for watching and for the information.
Tal played 2746 official games, lost only 301, his wins/losts % is 79%, no. 13 in all time rank.
Thanks for the information.
Not content with sacrificing his own queen Mikhail Tal forces his opponent to sacrifice his queen haha

Another pigeon!
At 1:36 why didn't Tal captured the bishop with rook? I mean, he could get 2 minor pieces for a rook.🤔
Even in a Simul

Tal lost 11% of his games which is good but nowhere near Capablanca at 6% and Petrosian at 7% Tal had a lot of draws 49%
For that wild, risky style of his thats impressive I think. Thanks for watching.
