The issue is Rachel doesn't really seem to enjoy the original. Despite how controversial TLM 2023 was, I never really heard Halle speak down to the original, nor Lily-James speak down about Cinderella.
She doesn't need to enjoy the original to play the role well. Everyone who attacks her doesn't even care about snow white, they just found an opportunity to pick up on Rachel Zegler for speaking her mind. She didn't even say anything that controversial for people to be this pissed, they all look kinda pathetic actually. An opinion about a disney princess doesn't give u an excuse to bully someone the way everyone's been doing with Rachel for the last few weeks.
@@eulterfee she said that the original movie portrait women negatively just because Snow White was saved by a man and fell in love, she deserve all the hate
@@mariajosecabrera1784 From her words we can only conclude that the love story won't be snow white's main plot and motivation, so what's wrong with adding layers to the character and the plot? Do you really expect in the year of 2024 to be watching a fairytale the main plot of which is the romance between a 31 y.o man and a 14 y.o girl?
@@eulterfee Bullying isn't right, I agree. The statement that anyone who criticizes her doesn't care about Snow White seems very misinformed. I find her underrated with how little screentime she gets in the original. Rachel seems to speak down about SW's passive character. She may give a very good performance, but whether or not it respects the original matters greatly.
I do think the stalker allegation was a little too much, wildly if you could flip that quickly and say, well, then all the animals were stalkers every time she sang, and the dwarves were stalkers anytime she’d cooked or helped out at their home.

My opinion on the original snow white movie is this: It's not necessarily misogynistic. There's two female characters and one is a powerful ruler. The story literally is all about the dynamic between them, whereas literally everyone else is just side characters in that story. Snow White isn't really a problematic character either, even by today's standards. She's a traumatized and abused 14 year old that's just trying to live a good life. She may not have much, but she tries to make the best of it. And when the hunter chases her into the woods and she stumbles upon the cabin, it's her survival instincts that kick in. Either someone lives there and they might let her stay if she helps out around the house or it's abandoned and she can make a life for herself there by learning to forage for food nearby. As luck would have it, seven rich men live there and they're willing to let the symbiotic interaction continue. If she wasn't forced to be a servant by her jealous step mom, she'd probably have ended up as a very bright young ruler. But because she was forced to be a servant, she picked up many valuable skills that she could use for survival even if that cabin was abandoned. The romance plot was pretty forgettable and barely present in this movie, so it could just be axed entirely. The main relationships she has with men in this movie is with the seven dwarfs. Focus in on that a bit more and bring in the plot point of one of them tripping during the part where they carry her casket to make the piece of apple dislodge from her throat (as was seen in the og fairytale). Maybe have them be a bit more parental and caring if the age gap is going to be kept the same. And that's really all the changes that would be needed to make it good. The biggest problem with the original movie is honestly just that there's a bunch of grown adults obsessing over a 14 year old, especially the (definitely adult) prince. Remove that or have the movie explicitly call out that it's creepy. Honestly, it's a fairytale that does hold up pretty well by today's standards. There's not a whole lot of updating they need to do to make it palletable for the modern audience. The story itself is rooted in how the culture was hundreds of years ago. It is SET in that time period. It's difficult to adapt that story to the modern time and still be her authentically snow white as opposed to any generic girl boss princess. And if that's too boring for you, just make her a superhero and adapt her story elements to fit a science fiction vibe.
Well Said Because I Agree. The Prince Was Kinda Creepy Cuz of The Age Gap But Then U Have The Seven Dwarfs Which Honestly Weren't Creepy Since There Was A Random Stranger In Their Cabin. 1/3.
Honestly, I'm Waiting Until The Trailer Because I'm Hype For This Movie and I Find It Funny That People Are Complaining About A Movie That's Not Even Out Yet. 2/3.
I rewatched it a couple of days ago. And yes. It's still great. That snow white is a frickin badass with a sword. And the dwarfs has a backstory about them having real jobs before becoming thiefs who used stilts to rob people. And there's still love in the story. Plus Snow White saves her prince with a kiss and her father with a dagger. Just wonderful.
My biggest issue with this remake is Snow White is THE movie that jump started Disney’s animated movie career so they should really try to stay true to the original as best as they could. My knit pick problems are Disney are being incredibly hypocritical they want to have characters be true to where they come from then they do the absolute opposite. It also just feels like they don’t respect the original movies and rarely ever listen to fans of the original who are trying to honestly help them from ruining the movie they love. I won’t pretend like they ever did but when they did it always came across as sounding forced or barely done at all. Saddest part is I truly wanted to learn to be a voice actor and work at Disney but now even if I studied to be one I wouldn’t want to VA for Disney with how little care they seem to be showing in their movies which is just a shame as they used to be one of the best in the industry.
I personally have more of a problem with the lack of the seven dwarves, as the tale is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." The idea of Snow being more a fighter doesn't bother me, mainly due to reading the original tale. In that story, Snow started catching wise to the Evil Queen's tricks, and she had to adjust her methods.
Most of the Disney princess stories are adaptations of fairytales that were written ages ago and they weren't entirely faithful either. Snow White woke up because the piece of apple got dislodged when they were moving her body, Cinderella's step sisters cut off pieces of their feet so the shoe would fit, "The Snow Queen" is a story about a sister saving her brother and "The Little Mermaid" never actually ended up with the man she loved.
@redasegarden in my opinion, the films agenda seems to be the push for women to stop trying have a relationship or a partner in return for them being centred around a career because the think that’s what will make women happy.
@@lurkyb0i602 Um cause it does because people want different things, sure love and all that can work for some women others don't want that or would like a balance you can't just decide what will make everyone happy because no 2 people are the same
I'd have loved it if they made a Blanca Nieves film set in a fictional Latin American kingdom with original music, storyline, and Lana Parilla reprising her role as the evil queen.
Sorry, but Rachel Zegler's comments on that "she should get paid for every hour she wears the dress for when it gets streamed" is a load of hot garbage that killed any chance I would feel any bit sorry for her. The concept for a Snow White film at 9:12 has kinda been done in Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs. Granted, it does include a love story but it does have all the stuff that Smarty mentioned with Snow White having more of an agenda and taking back her kingdom from her evil stepmother. Plus, I think the romance element was nice done in that film.
What about the actor comment is so controversial? A large percentage of actors and writers make as little as Mcdonalds workers, yes, Mcdonalds workers! Because of these greedy CEOS! She deserves to get paid REGARDLESS of how you feel about her, are you going to tell a office worker that they shouldn't be paid just because they don't really care about Snow White? Not to mention, Rachel is only advocating for not only herself, but her union members. Do you support the writer's and actor's strike at all?
@@june2613 yeah but…to be paid for every hour she’s in the dress? If this was like with Jim carry in the grinch suit, Keenan Thompson in the fat suit, or Robert England in Freddy garbe I’d understand. Heck, the guy’s playing the animatronics in things like the banana splits, Willys wonderland, and the upcoming FNAF movie deserve this because of how heavy, hot, or how long they have to stay in costume due to how difficult it is to get in and out of. But the dress won’t be as heavy as any of the aforementioned costumes and will be easy to get out of. This is assuming the writer didn’t make this up for drama.
I lost any sympathy for Rachel Zegler when she said she should get paid for every hour she wears the dress and for when it gets streamed. Sometimes people deserve the flack they’re getting, and this is one of those times. Everything that comes out of her mouth is a PR nightmare, and I’m willing to bet it’ll affect the box office too
Do you support the writer's and actor's strike? If so, why are you making an issue out of a non issue. Some or these writers and actors get paid as little as McDonald's workers. Rachel should get paid regardless how you feels about her, her opinion on a movie shouldn't mean that she doesn't deserve to get paid. Would you tell a office worker that?
@@june2613 it’s just clear from that comment and many others she hates the movie. She should get paid for the work she does for the movie, never said otherwise. However, saying that she should get paid what is essentially extra for when it’s streamed or when she wears the dress is idiotic. She would be overpaid in that regard and in the theoretical circumstance, everyone else would be paid less than they already are.
@@riotkittyI do think she deserves money from streaming. That’s what these actors are fight for because the amount that it is IS so little. @@Star_Starbee Actors earn a salary regardless of whether a movie makes or loses money but she wants that if a movie makes a profit then those profits should not only go to investors but should also be split between actors and writers which doesn't make sense since The actors are not putting out of their pocket to produce a movie and if they want to talk so much about the distribution of profits then they should also share the losses is that if a movie loses money the actors and scriptwriters should also pay for it
I heard that interview to and I was "whatever" , I didn't thought people would make such a fuss, personally I was more dissapointed that the 7 dwarfs got cut and replaced with the 7 weird people that live in the woods
My main problem with the movie is that just like everything else that’s out in the world now, it’s just saying that girls should be leaders and not find true love. Like it’s okay to want to find true love. It’s okay not to be a leader. But everything just changes things to make them a typical main character
i think the problem isn't the actress, or what she said. It's that they are remaking so many films, and losing the sense of wonder that new stories have.
I’m gonna be honest, the version of Snow White she’s talking about just sounds like how she was portrayed in Once Upon a Time, and no one got mad at that for making Snow a warrior queen with a couple murders under her belt.
Because that wasn't made by disney. And the consumers of the company need a new project and stop with the remake hence why this movie is bad cuz it shouldn't be exist in the first place and once upon a time just like you said is one of many reason why this nostalgia pandering need to stop. At first I was interested in the movie but hearing how they want to write out the prince is weird. I never found him to be a stalker at the end. I thought he heard about her dead and wanted to see her or he found the funeral while riding his horse in the woods. Seeing the pictures, now I’m not too sure about it
I think that a lot of people took characters like Merida, Elsa, Moana, etc. as being quite revolutionary characters because they don't have love interests to the point where their independence is their only personality trait. It's VERY common for people to get shit on if you ever give those characters a romance in fanfiction or within fandom spaces. I shipped Elsa with Honeymaren once because I thought it would be cute and got absolutely crapped on for it because apparently she would no longer be a feminist icon?? It's completely possible for women to have a love interest and be independent and strong. Millions of women are taking on careers, being leaders, AND pursuing romantic relationships when they're off the clock. Unless you're completely aromantic most of us crave a romantic connection at some point in our lives, regardless of gender. In fact some of my favorite films are where a main character has a relationship but the main plot of the film is unrelated to a relation, or the main plot and a romance subplot work in tandem. Denigrating women for making the choice to pursue a relationship is anti-feminist within itself. Feminism is about giving women the choice to be whatever they want so long as they arent hurting other people. Women can be housewives and mother and be feminist. Women can be both mothers, wives, AND work. Women can just work and be single have no family. All of that should be completely valid. I get so tired of "this character is not feminist because she isn't single.
I do agree that women can still be feminist and still get married. But why is it so problematic whenever people like Rachel Zegler say that they want her version to not be in love and just discover her strengths in her own way. I mean she wants to create the story she wants to tell and if disagree with then don't watch it. It always annoys when people talk about how men and women should be portrayed when the reality is every human being is f*cking different
@@marcelinovazquez5128 I agree, I don't think she deserve any hate for this like she has been getting. Also she's an actress, and I don't know how much impact she would have had on actually writing the story.
Yeah, people can really be quite hateful when someone expresses their opinion of not liking something that the majority of people likes In my opinion, I don't fully agree with Rachel's opinion, but I understand it to some extent and respect it. I'm just gonna wait for the final product of the remake before making any assumptions and conclusions. And IF the movie is gonna portray Snow White as a strong independent woman, I won't complain.
Internet prefers bullying the main actress rather than the writers and the director. Nothing new. I don't care about her stupid opinions because even if she suggets something dumb to the director, it's his choice to listen to her or not. Maybe she will be bad in the role because of a lack in motivation or maybe not, we don't know yet. I have other reasons to believe the movie will be bad, but i'm waiting to actually see it. And not just the trailers, I stopped trusting them a long time ago. The dress is so ugly that I agree with Rachel's demand to be paid for every hour she wears this thing (joke). The "prince-kisses-a-corpse-creepy" can be fixed easily, they just have to establish the prince knowing about the spell and how to save snow white, like in sleeping beauty. But snow white didn't became a classic for the romantic plot, let's be honest. There is a reason for the Disney version to have "and the 7 dwarves" in the title. I would like the remake to focus more on the relationship between snow white and the dwarves, i love found families.
the main actress also took some part in writing and directing aswell, shes also the one did the marketting and promoting aswell. One of the reason people mainly go after her
I find it ridiculous how everyone praised Barbie for its message of “don’t criticize women for everything they do” and then they go ahead and hate everything Rachel does
i hope me replying to this doesn’t start a war or anything but the idea that “no one praised Barbie” is very wrong. most backlash i’ve seen towards this movie from regular movie watchers is from a vocal minority of people who misinterpreted the film’s meaning and unfairly attacked it. the OG comment’s message is not even accurate to what the movie is trying to portray. please don’t paint the Barbie movie like this just to make a point
@@violxtfaeriewell, I just realized that most people watching this channel are apparently the exact same kind who see barbie as "absolutely terrible and misandrist".
It's really nice to see a more calm and collected opinion about this. Even if the actress has said some things that we think are too far against the original movie (myself included), it's really important to keep our disagreements from turning into bullying. Cruel behavior on the internet can be extremely damaging to anyone. I appreciate you bringing this to light.
I just really dislike Rachel because we just shits on the film and repeatedly said that she never liked Snow White. I feel angry because there were probably lots of actresses who would probably love to have gotten the role, and as they weren’t even going for someone who looked like the animated character then any women could have been cast to play Snow White. It’s also sad because the story of the original women who voiced Snow White is very bitter sweet. Her name was Adriana Caselotti. In the original film there weren’t any credits so her name isn’t even mentioned in the film only the animators have there names at the start but none of the voice actors so most people don’t even know her name. At first she wasn’t even told that she was recording audio for a full on feature length film it was only as the work was almost completely that she knew the full scale of the project. She also wasn’t invited to the premiere of the movie and wasn’t allowed into the theater, (neither was the guy who voiced the prince because back then inviting the voice cast to a film premiere wasn’t even a thought) Also after the film came out she was going to do a radio interview to talk about her role but Walt prohibited her from doing so. He wanted her voice to be preserved as the forever voice of Snow White so Adriana never voice acted and acted in any film again especially anything with singing. She’s only known for voicing Snow White (just THE most iconic animated character ever but no big deal) The only things she did was sing as Snow White at events and stuff like that. She even got a Snow White themed well in backward. Then this chick comes along and says “oh falling in love is so 1930s” Adriana must be rolling in her grave. And honestly in a time when there was a lot more sexism and stuff like that just the fact that the first ever animated film had a female protagonist that wasn’t even sexualized (apart from the kissing) was very progressive for the time. At the time most cartons had female characters that were very sexy and over the top so Snow White was pretty modest as a comparison. And not only that but the first ever animated film stared two iconic women. The first ever animated film protagonist and villain were both women.
Although Snow White did put Disney on the map, from an objective standpoint, Snow White isn't even one of the best Disney films. The music is okay, characters are two dimensional, and the love story is bland. Rachel can have her opinions about movies, there's some Disney movies people do not like, so for you guys to bash her online is so stupid. If someone said they don't like The Little Mermaid or Lilo and Stitch, I DON'T CARE. Although those movies are my favorites, it might not be someone else's cup of tea, and raging at a young person online will NOT change how they truly feels about a movie. After this backlash she probably still doesn't like the original Snow White movie, BECAUSE THATS HER OPINION.
@@june2613”oh no a pretty young woman is getting hate quick I must protect her “ Keep simping buddy she’ll probably see this and want to have you ha ha.
I actually kinda disagree with everybody's take about Snow White being about romance. There's actually very little romance going on in the film. Most of it is about Snow White wanting romance but very very little screen time is dedicated to her relationship to the prince. Compare to Pride and Predjudice, a famous romance, where the relationship is the central focus. I'd argue a greater portion of the film is actually dedicated to Snow White being a leader, albeit a domestic one, but she doesn't just do the cleaning. She organizes the animals, and later the dwarves to help her. There's a powerful story to be found about leading through kindness and positive affirmation. In the hands of a good writer this could really be expanded on.
@@CBman11037 Please define what woke means other than just screaming "Anything that isn't, white, straight, or cis is automatically bad," because that's what you morons are saying when you are complaining about something being "woke" because the term "woke" used to refer to "Awakened Empathy".
It isn’t a problem that they changed the story. It’s a problem that she’s sassy and stuck up about it and honestly most women want to find true love it doesn’t matter if they want to be president or queen they still want someone to take care of them they still want a Prince charming.
I really don't give a crap about what the actors say. If a movie is bad, I put more blame on the writers and producers. Actors have limited influence in how a movie is made. When the new Snow White is inevitably complete garbage, I consider the whole of Disney (writers, producers, activists, CEOs, etc.) are to blame, and very little blame should go to the actors no matter how narcissistic they are.
Also I think the bigger problem is that this film shouldn’t be remade. Okay none should be remade but if there was a ranking for which ones shouldn’t be remade Snow White would be number one. This is awful, it’s so sad because Walt and his animators spent 3 years on the original Snow White film. They had to draw every second of animation four times on a sheet of paper, then color everything in and compile them all in order. Walt literally went broke to make that film, he put his house on a morgue. So he almost went homeless just to make sure his film could be finished. He was willing to put his home on the line to prove the power of animated films. Snow White broke records and changed the world. It began the animation industry which is still being fully pushed to its limits, he won an Oscar with seven tiny Oscars behind it the man won eight Oscar’s for a category he basically invented. All this because he wanted to prove the power and magic of animation. He could have made it easier by just hiring actors and filming with human actors but no he choose the hard path to prove he was right. And then today Disney is trading that love and wonder for “easy cash” (I can’t wait to see this film flop). So all that effort was for what, nothing. Pointless as this new medium of storyletting would be pushed aside as the company now makes more live action films of old animated ones than actual new animated projects. Plus the story of the original snow whole voice actor is very bittersweet.
I don't care if they change some of the story but changing things like the main characters like the dwarves and that her name is derived from her skin is white as snow
Literally every actress for a live action princess has said this she’s just the only one getting hate for having an “attitude” aka personality. Funny how Barbie came out and was all about not being overly critical of women and the same people who loved Barbie are being so critical of Rachel when they never were of Emma, Halle or Naomi.

We had already many good live action adaptations of Cinderella and Beauty and Beast and yet Disney remaked their own adaptations of those tales, the problem is not the remakes itslef but rather that they have no idea to remake it and end up with copy with a few change
After watching this video, you put it quite eloquently Smarty Pants. I agree with mostly everything you said. While I still think that a majority of what she said about Snow White is untrue and how she said it comes across as arrogant, I do agree that she’s just coming across as a cringey 22 year old that probably just needs to be knocked down a peg. That’s why she deserves to be HUMBLED, not threatened or cancelled by idiots on Twitter or TikTok. If anything, the people who gave her these ridiculous talking points about the film (Likely her PR Team or Script advisors) should be hated and fired. They’re the ones that thought up this nonsense anyways. If anyone deserves our hatred it’s the dumbasses behind the scenes who train her terribly and throw her too the wolves on the red carpet.
I feel so bad for Snow White. She is the most kind hearted and humble princess in the Disney canon and she is regarded as having no agency, passive, and with no personality (because apparently women who exhibit these qualities deserve to be torn down and mocked, and seen as less than). She suffers abuse and rejection and is seen as weak and cowardly. She’s hard working, earnest, and resourceful, discovering how to make a way for herself by the only means she has (her own two hands, not expecting charity or handouts) and is chastised for “serving men”. It is her dearest wish to love and be loved by someone and she’s ridiculed for not having a higher ambition in life, as if ruling a kingdom (ie having a career) is somehow nobler than that simple wish. I’ll take a moment to defend the prince as well. Their relationship is not well developed, it’s true, but it doesn’t really need to be. The first time the meet, they’re clearly smitten with each other. At that point Snow has already revealed to the audience that she wishes someone to come and rescue her from her misery. (It’s not a bad thing to want to be rescued, by the way. Sometimes it can be soul affirming to learn that someone could care about you enough to seek you out, want better for you, maybe even put themselves at risk in order to help you. Nothing wrong with wanting to be worth it to someone.) and at that very moment, Florin appears and embodies all that she wanted. But she’s shy and coy, and doesn’t run away with him right then and there, even though she probably could have. They leave things as they are, going their separate ways to let things marinate and to remember each other fondly. And you’ll recall, Snow White gave Florin a kiss via the magic of pigeon upon their first meeting. It was delicate yet forward and flirtatious. He had every understanding that she was interested in him romantically, just as he was interested in her. When we see the prince again, he is understandably heartbroken that this sweet young woman has been killed (for all intents and purposes). They had had a connection, and he was likely looking for her after her disappearance to continue their courtship, only to discover she was lying in a coffin. So, upon this discovery, he decides to give her small kiss goodbye. This is not uncommon for funerals. He didn’t violate her or do something inappropriate to a corpse or overstep his bounds. He was saying goodbye to a dream he had. And when she awakes, he takes her to a palace, to be taken care of and in all likelihood to continue that courtship. There’s an implication that they got married *eventually*, but that could have been a year down the line after Snow had recovered from her trauma and found a sense of safety and well-being. They had a perfectly acceptable amount of interaction for the story that we got. There’s enough left unsaid that we can fill in the blanks however is necessary to make their relationship not only acceptable, but feasible and even romantic.
At this point it's not just about the remake. Literally every time Rachel Zegler opens her mouth (or social media), she tears someone down. She spouts some of the most toxic stuff I have ever heard from any actor and that is not excusable. But yes, the movie does sound like a mess. I'm normally very forgiving of the live action remakes - in fact, I frequently enjoy them over the originals - but they've pushed me too far this time. Jesse Grant made a brilliant video comparing the problems with this film against a recent interview with Jenna Ortega, and the points Jenna made are spot on: these "girl boss" "do it all" types are painfully two-dimensional, and the way Zegler's carrying on, I dont see this being any different.
You do realize that Rachel Zegler was only making jokes right? I mean you could argue that maybe she could do a better job at phrasing it and maybe needs more media training. But if people are attacking her on Twitter for just making stupid jokes I think she has the right to call them out. It's not like she said that "the Holocaust doesn't exist" or call used the N word
@@marcelinovazquez5128 yeah tbh she doesn’t deserve harassment for it, she seems like a nice lady who’s probably just doing this for money, Disney should have just gotten someone who’s more passionate about the movie 🤷🏻♀
@@txwtw I don't think the problem is that she's not passionate about the Snow White in fact I think she is passionate about Snow White but rather the reaction towards her. And I actually read a few articles where Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Lawrence had that same problem where whenever they spoke their mind about something they were met with the same kind of hate. And there's definitely an argument to be made that maybe Rachel Zegler wasn't media trained properly but at the same time this isn't the end of the world and the fact that people are making countless videos is frankly sad because they could've put that energy into stuff that actually matters and affects the world instead of blacklisting a young girl for having a difference of opinion
@@marcelinovazquez5128 you bring valid points, I definitely agree I don’t think people should be making countless videos of it since there’s other actors who’s done the same like her and it isn’t end of the world. My only “problem” with what Rachel said was when she said that the prince stalked Snow in the movie even though he was hardly in there lol. Also (slightly off topic) but Snow being a leader is fine imo that concept has potential even though she basically lead 7 men throughout the OG movie but there’s nothing wrong with her wanting to find true love, I mean the poor girl in the movie is being treated like a slave by her mother it makes sense that she’d want to seek affection. Anyway yeah I agree with what you said people are being way too over dramatic over one of the actor’s opinion about it they should be getting angry at the movie writers not the actor’s thoughts.
I'm not the biggest fan of the original but I don't hate it. It's an ok movie nothing more and that they want to change things from the original is at it's core nothing bad, because the movie is a product of it's time and a remake should change up some elements and show us a different take on the characters. My only problem with her comments are that she shows zero respect to the film even tho it's one of the most important films in history and was the first Disney movie and it should get some respect at least
3:03 I don't know, I do think the hate against Rachel Zegler is toxic af but saying "oh she's 22 she'll learn" feels very patronizing and condescending. There are people much older than her who have the exact sentiment against Snow White, so it's not like her statements are purely a generational issue. Btw, is there a magic age where you have it all figured out?
I don't like Rachel's arrogant attitude in the interviews like I'm not really surprised that's snow white live action remake is obviously going to bad but she going be more of an issue than the movie because alot of people hate her because what she said in the interviews. So we got the 7 dwarves that look like people with average height, no prince because no true love and "stalkish" behaviour, snow white will be the typical strong female character that will played by an actress who sound spoiled rich girl. Everyone's has their own opinions but they should not make things up to express why their opinion is different.
I personally think this whole thing is stupid. Look you don’t have to see the movie, if you don’t want too. Snow White is in the public domain and it’s okay to have different versions of stories. The original isn’t going anywhere so don’t be hateful to a young Latina woman. She’s a great actress if you saw West Side Story. Which aimed for different things for their story to tell just like what Disney is trying to do with this movie.
it's not just what she said about the movie (or cartoon as she calls it) or the character. It's also her behavior prior to all of this, like telling people to attack Gina Carano because of a pronouns joke, which makes her a hypocrite about wanting a kinder world. She said she's not lightening her skin to play the character. Imagine if Halle Bailey said "I'm playing Ariel, and no, I'm not changing my hair color." How smug and self-centered. You expect people to like you after this?
Unlike changing hair color, skin lightening is *really* bad for your body. Those creams usually contain hydroquinone, corticosteroids, or mercury, and they often lead to scarring and nerve damage.
@@pink-roses-and-scarlet-skies So Jenna Ortega and other actors were just fine portraying pale-skinned characters in _Wednesday_ but Rachel cannot do it to play Snow White? I don't care what some cream does. There's this thing called make-up, which is far from a foreign concept for movies, so use it.
naw bc why r u acting for a remake if you don't like the acting + what love story?? the prince came out of no where most of the film had nothing to do with him
In my opinion what Disney is trying to do right now has been done much better already in Mirror Mirror. Snow white was a warrior and there were many changes yet it still carried the important points and messages and stood true to the characters core traits. And Lily Collins was a perfect match for snow both in appearance and character
It's so funny to see a liberal interpretation of this, and watch somebody try to justify and rationalize any of this because it's hilarious and pathetic.
I have a few opinions, 1, There is a reason her name is Snow White, its literally her description of her character,im not afraid to say it 2. There is nothing wrong for wanting to find true love, if you wanna find true love, go for it, there are some men out there who want to find true love to, you just have to find it in the right places 3. wanting to give your life to a man that you love, is literally the reason for mariage, and tha man wants to give his life to his woman as well, marriage goes both ways 4. There was nothing wrong with the movie growing up, almost every girl ive met wanted to be like the princesses from Disney, they didnt care if she needed saving or not, they just liked her character and the movie 4. romance is a main plot point for most Princess movies and i said MOST, imagine if they didnt have Belle fall in love with Beast in the remake, that would make for a completely different movie wouldnt it?
So I'm going to use some of the points Yhara Zayd made in her video on this subject because I think they're pretty smart and are a good way of encapsulating my view on this. Rachel probably isn't the person coming up with these claims on her own. Actresses and actors aren't the ones writing the movie or making changes to the original, the writers and directors are. Rachel *might* have already had these views on the original movie, but it's more likely that she's just repeating what the writers/directors told her would be the vision for the new movie. It isn't fair to blame Rachel for "disrespecting the original movie" because she isn't the one writing the remake! If people are so angry about this movie supposedly over-correcting the admittedly misogynistic themes of the original movie, they should give hate to the people who *actually* have the power to make those changes in the movie. To steer back to my personal opinion for a moment instead of clutching on Yhara Zayd's video, I don't remember the original Snow White very well. I probably have watched it at some point as a child, but it never became the kind of movie I would watch over and over again. I probably won't watch this remake because I don't have much connection to the original movie, so I've been trying to ignore most of this backlash to Rachel because I find it really stupid. If you're so mad about the changes they're supposedly making to the original, just don't watch the movie or ignore it. Stop shaming the leading actress just because she repeated what the executives of the movie likely told her to say. Don't you people have better things to do with your life?
I’m glad it’s changed, you do realize the story is problematic, do you want kids learn that in order to be beautiful you should have skin white as snow and be jealous of someone else beauty
I personally wouldn't say she's the MOST likable person on earth, but anyone can think if something is bad or not. She's answering what she's thinking. And now the trailer's been released and people have been commenting on her working on a job that she doesn't like. What they've been replying to when someone said "I work jobs I don't like too" was, "If you don't have a hobby as a job, then you're a useless piece of trash" as if no one works with jobs they don't like. In conclusion, people shouldn't be hating on her for those reasons as there are many people that may think that and work jobs they don't like because it's really difficult to do a hobby as your job.
No one can make a perfect Snow White movie. They tried with little people, they tried with Bella Swan, they even tried with Weaver. I don't know if this will work but since they're saying this will not have little people, and judging from the pictures so far...I'm afraid I'm gonna dodge this one like I did for Live Action Disney Cinderella.
So you're on Disney's side when it comes to how they treat backlash. Of course let's just blame the misogynist and the racist and sexist that will cover up how terrible we've become.
Usually you always see that the ugly girl is the victim, when in reality 'pretty girls' are victims as well. The evil person isn't the dwarfs, it isn't the prince - it's another female, who is willing to kill because of the younger girl's beauty and future power.
…Robert Pattinson hated his rôle in Twilight, Harrison Ford hated his rôle as well in SW…they’re still loved by the public. Far right just wnats to hate.
I would counter this with neither of those two actors showed scorn towards their audiences despite hating their role, nor did they twist their dislike of the story into a platform to more or less talk about being morally superior than their audience; there’s sense of her talking down to the audience with so much contempt and conceitedness towards them. I can understand how people immediately feel scorned by her attitude. Right wing RUclips commentators are definitely over blowing it to milk it for content, but the actor is still deserving of some criticism, as even from an emotionally detached analysis it’s just bad marketing to behave like she’s been, actors like her have killed movies before they get to premiere for this anti-audience rhetoric. Seriously don’t know why marketing teams don’t try and reign in actors like this. For me none of that made me care enough to pay the drama attention, but my reason to actually dislike her now is founded on the astoundingly narcissistic entitlement on display when she spoke about the writers strikes and how she made it all about her “deserving” to be paid more just for wearing a dress on set all day, rather than using her platform/voice to support the writers and production crew who aren’t making millions like an actor of her status and have their jobs at risk. Saying all of it with the smuggest shit eating grin only adds to how angry people are made to feel watching that clip. Actors were only meant to be striking in solidarity with writers but her little interview was ALL about her and her sense of entitlement. Considering the financial crisis ruining peoples lives, having rich people try to make out they’re the ones being hard done by and “deserve more money” is so tone deaf, it’s going to enrage any person of lower socioeconomic to hear rich people be framing themselves as industry victims needing even more of a film’s budget to line their pockets; leaving even less for the already underpaid staff.
It’s baffling to me how fake feminists have leaned SO hard into the mentality of “2006 Buzzfeed article Why All Disney Princesses Are Bad Actually (Probably Written By A White Terf)” and just never budged from there. Like, this is the hill they have chosen to die on. “Maybe they’ll just cut all [the prince’s] scenes” she said- like wow, she might’ve been nervous saying that but still, imagine being the actor playing the prince in this movie and hearing your coworker giggle at the idea of all your scenes being cut. Yikes. That being out of the way, yes, we need to get over this whole women can’t fall in love with men and being dynamic characters thing. Because they can. You can have both. And if you don’t think you can have both, they you’re not reading enough books or watching enough media where it’s done well. It all comes down to the execution. Tl:dr Disney just doesn’t know how to write good romances anymore, so they’ve defaulted to not writing them at all. Even Frozen 2 was a recycled proposal plotline from Rescuers Down Under they were probably hoping everyone forgot about. But nope, I see you Disney… I see you…
Don't defend her,Smarty Pants. The race swapping is so dumb that they should have made a new story in the first place instead of redoing Snow White. A character that Rachel admits to hating Rachel Zegler isn't a baby, she's old enough to be mentally aware of what she's doing. She just doesn't care. She chose to bully others then she chooses to get herself in trouble. Rachel made her bed,she needs to sleep in it (no pun intended)
Question 1: It's Not Race Swapping Since Rachel Is Have White and The Reason Why She Was Casted As Snow White Is Because of Her Singing Voice (It's Like How Halle Got Cast As Ariel) and Y'all Can't Say That Disney Should Make An Original Movie Since Y'all Don't Watch The Ones That They Put Out. Question 2: She's Only 22, Your Brain Gets Fully Developed When U Become 25 or 26. So What U Saying Is Stupidity At It's Finest.
As someone on the Autism Spectrum, I have a tendency to say the first thing on my mind and I have difficulty reading the social context, so it can sometimes come off as offensive. I don't know about this actress, but I can't imagine she's the first person to bring up Snow White's character traits in a negative light. I've heard similar criticisms long before she brought them up for ages.
I really appreciate that you present these videos and commentaries in a way that we are free to share and have our own opinions. You also clearly state yours without coming off too strong or acting as if it is fact. I just really appreciate it how you put things into a more objective and not so self-absorbed perspective. It's a breath of fresh air for me. Anyway, its how I see it, I'm just grateful and glad.
Honestly given the fact that no one really talks much about the previous ventures in remaking the Disney Princess movies (when was the last time you heard anyone have a discussion about any of them that couldn't be summed up by, "oh yeah that happened") I doubt this interpretation is going to have that much better of an impression. Girl's just getting a swelled head cause Papa Mouse told her she's doing something more than lining their already full to bursting pockets. That said, Rugrats did it better.
I mostly agree with you (I honestly have no issues with the original Snow White film and that's the only spot where I disagree with your opinion). My issue with Zegler is that she's acting like none of this has been done before, and knowing the quality of the Disney remakes, likely done BETTER. Snow White and the Huntsman, Mirror Mirror, Sydney White... this story has already been modernized to death. We really didn't need another one. Only other thing I'll say is that I'm fully prepared to boycott this film based solely on the physical appearance of these "magical creatures." If Disney was so stupid as to screw over the dwarf community, then the ableist crew deserves to watch this film bomb at the box office.
Me personally if I wanna see a badass Snow White then I watch Once Upon of Time's portrayal of Snow White, they keep the love story(made it better imo) and made her badass Idk why Rachel is making it out that this is like the first time you see a modern Snow White because Once Upon a Time came out like 2011 and the show ended in 2018. So idk
the vibe of your videos are like a less angry and less bitter mr.sunday movies. Mr.sunday is my favorite but he's almost as cynical as me and your style is a nice change of tone. subbed
If there's someone who needs a break is Hailey Bailey.she has been racisised all over the world just because of skin colour even though she was perfect for the role.
In my Opinion, it’s just people don’t want Romance stories because a lot of the time it’s pretty much the same thing, perfect 2 people and no Trouble. Heck, not even the mention of them switching to abuse, Manipulating, and Divorce or end in heart break in romance. Because people are messed up and a lot of the time they hurt the person they claim to love. That’s why society i think doesn’t inspire for it. I agree do whatever, but be more realistic. Write a story where The Prince Charming turns out to be a dick and the Princess is heartbroken it’s the way it is. Not because it’s her fault. But the man’s. Have Two Evil people, villains, fall in love and let that be the only redeeming thing about them. Even have some nice and sweet moments, but then Break the audience heart but showing their actions still have consequences and they weren’t gonna have a happy ending in the first place. Put more out there and maybe, just maybe, you could enjoy your Traditional Script of Romance. Because I agree with your points but I think people complain too much because they don’t see the full picture. And Plus, Disney or any company doesn’t really know how to make original and Reality base stories. I think everyone would be happy if they just did more reality based stories. I think people just aren’t comfortable with making this type of stuff.
I understand people getting upset about remakes like Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, and even Mulan. Those are movies I know everybody has seen and even rewatch to this day, but Snow White? Not that the Disney movie is bad, it just kind of baffles me that people are so defensive about this movie. Like I feel like the parodies are more well known than the actual movie. Also I don’t care what the actress says about the movie. Actors will say anything to promote their movie. Plus I’ve heard dumber and crazier things from other actors, she’s fine.
Because the actor hates Snow white and got the role also they're spitting on Walt's legacy he did everything to release snow white everyone hates her even hardcore Disney Fans for spitting on Walt's legacy
I don't think you should write your own narrative with characters other people know and love and that's that. It's the same reason why I hate Velma... among others. Also I heard that they don't want dwarfs to play the 7 dwarfs... WTH???
I agree with most of your points here and it's exactly how I feel. Snow White really just needs some more depth, nothing in the film is really that problematic. The only thing that really pissed me off was the removal of the dwarves. It's taking away representation, not being progressive.
Yes, I love her!! I think she’s a great actor! I look forward to all of her projects in the future! But I just don’t like how she characterized,,, well her character she is playing! I want this movie to fail cause it proven that these movies do NOTHING! I’m young personally, I still have so many options for me as a woman for what I want to do with my life! It feels disingenuous from all of these film makers to say “hey! Be a stay at home mom! Service your husband!” And then flip around and say “Hey! Be an independent girlboss! Never value your husband or family and home!” It’s so annoying!!!
You want a movie about Snow White not being a 2-dimensional character, watch Snow White and the Huntsman. Disney is not exactly the greatest choice to retell Snow White.
I must say I quite admire your take on this topic because most of the general public are very against the actress thou I will she’s quite foolish to have said the things she said in interviews
I love how this video was so heartfelt, simply and clearly explained how to just BE KIND. And yet the comments are doing THE EXACT THING THAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT IN THE VIDEO. WTHHH. Arent you all adults? Its supposed to be the LEAST demanding thing for you to do! People: HEY LETS BE CRAPHEADS>>>>>>>>>
People are just weird and have nothing else to talk about like “they’re taking away our memories” no they’re not 💀it’s disney, they’re story is a different interpretation, not everything stays the same, and just cuz you don’t like something doesn’t mean you need to hate on ppl you don’t even need to watch it it’s not your cup of tea, they’re always attacking the actresses, and there’s the weird things ppl say and choices they make behind the scenes sometimes and stuff 😭
I agree with you about not attacking the people behind this movie, especially because we don't know them personally the only thing we see is a public image. However people still have the right to criticise the changes to the movie, if they think the changes are counterprofuctive. People also have the right to disagree with Rachel Zeglers opinions. As long as they are being respectful and not personally attacking her I don't see a problem
I have no opinions on the Snow White remake or anything. There's a little bit of some complications. Snow White is a begone era movie that's 90 years old. And the actress is awkward and cringy, but what 21 year old isn't cringy. But her comment from 11 months ago shouldn't be taken as serious as it is cuz it was a little awkward being interviewed on a red carpet, you ain't gonna know what to say all the time clearly, let alone when every eye is on you cuz you're an actress on a red carpet. Personally, I would like to see Snow White just wanting to retake her stole kingdom without a romantic subplot. 2 popular Disney princesses who didn't fall in love, Moana and Elsa, were able to be well loved without them getting a romantic partner at the end. Merida also didn't get a romantic partner cuz she was wanting to change her fate and not get married.
Im sorry but I gotta disagree with u here. This is not abt misogyny, rachel is straight out a horrible choice for snow white. Not only does she not look like her, but she's constantly whining abt the original movie, hating on it etc. Not to mention when she demands to be paid every hour that she wears a dress lmao I mean its just annoying. She doesnt like Snow White, she only does it for money and it is not fair. Also it teaches young girls the WRONG things, whats so bad about true love? Or being saved by a man?Or literally anyone? I agree that women dont need men to be happy, but telling girls that women are strong leaders who dont need men and shouldnt find true love is just plain stupid to me. What, is she going to wake herself up? A woman can be badass without making the man look like some loser. Love is not a weak thing, its beautiful and should be integrated more
What’s wrong with her tune, you’re telling she deserves to be called slurs, bodyshamed, bullied simply for criticizing a old 80 year old cartoon, you’re sick and disgusting for wishing the worst for her
Apparantly they did a modern Romeo and Juliet (Leonardo DiCaprio?). Would you really want a modern Pride and Prejudice? If so, would you really wanna call it "Pride and Prejudice"? Why call it "Snow White" ... she was litterally called Snow White because in the original story (not the Disney movie) her name was given to her for her snow white skin. Why is it called Snow White ... having to much "snow" in the summer? Her fault, director's fault, Disney's fault, ... fault?
Honestly, I didn't find the character of Snow White to ONLY be a "damsel in distress." A big takeaway from her story, at least for me, was that no matter the awful circumstances she made the best out of her situation. Her evil stepmom is stripping her of her birthright and treating her like a servant? She keeps smiling, singing, and dreaming of romance. A 14-year-old dreaming of love is not awful, it's part of growing up. When she wakes up in the woods after nearly being murdered, she gets back up and looks for a solution. Snow takes up a motherly position in the home of the dwarfs to earn her keep. There are really only two major "yikes" moments for me that didn't age well. The kiss of a stranger, and the age gap between the Prince and Snow White. This could be solved in two simple ways: 1. Bump up the age of Snow and lower the Prince's (maybe 17 & 18 or something) 2. Have the couple in a relationship before the kiss. Maybe they are secretly dating behind the Evil Queen's back? When Snow goes missing, he goes looking for her and finds her asleep. The writers are overcompensating, and it honestly shows a lack of sense and an inability to analyze a story than being "progressive." Shame on Disney.
I just hate how she talks about the original as if it's garbage and how she has only seen it once and hated it. Like dam girl why did you audition then?
I think Disney should create a new movie that is not related to the classic ones, just like "Frozen" and "Brave". People hate the new Snow White movie, because people got frustrated of how Disney is functioning as a company these days, becuase they need some innovation. Do they really believe that recreating classic movies will keep them alive?? This is ridiculous!
Everyone complains that they’re sick of the live action remakes, so Disney tries something new and they all go “boo! Just do the original”. How ironic.
Yes people sick and tired with live action remakes, and is NOT ironic. You're context is completely stupid, this people want new movie, want new storyline, basically a whole new project. Taking classic and remaking it is NOT new.😂
@@gabidobre5584 because it still the same movie title, name, character etc. Regardless their doing a revision into the story, the sole element is still there! a princess, seven people, evil queen. Why is it still there? Because it still taken story from the past and they just change several things in there in the sake of woke. Basically people want a WHOLE new project who doesn't have the same material in the past! Couldn't you get that? People want disney to stop bringing classic story in modern time and just leave it there. Your comment is stupid just like the person above
I think the problem is they are trying to chaange original stories rather than makingnew content which is upsetting everyone , and yes live action remakes can be quite good if done well , but most of the live actjons remakes are not so good
Because we want original stories. At first Live Action remakes sounded like a good idea but after Mulan and The Lion King, everyone has gotten fatigued over them and sick of Disney calling their own stories problematic and trying to change them instead of making new and original content. These new live action remakes aren't even remakes either.
She is a glass ceiling breaker! She sings a song in her bathroom, and instantly she is in major film after major film after major film. No one needs to go to acting school any more. No one even needs to graduate from high school. Just follow her lead, and you too can make millions, walk the red carpet, and become a major influencer.
Well, I mean, the original was made in 1937. Of course it was misogynistic. I agree with Rachel, honestly, but just don’t completely abandon the classic storyline of Snow White. I adore a feminist film adaptation, as long as it’s not discarding this classic that marked the beginning of an animation era. It feels so forced changing an already existing movie into something completely different. This is what Moana did so well. It concocted its own narrative with a strong, kind female lead and was a feminist film without butchering another film’s story and theme.
The point isnt that she is a nornal 22 year old is sayng her opinion about Snow white The point is that she is the main actress of Snow White, a story she doesnt like, abd she want to made it her own thing

I do think the stalker allegation was a little too much, wildly if you could flip that quickly and say, well, then all the animals were stalkers every time she sang, and the dwarves were stalkers anytime she’d cooked or helped out at their home.
Are we just gonna ignore the fact that the Evil Queen basically stalked her through the mirror and was a creepy ass looking old woman.
@@liamphibia | wouldn't classify Grimhilde also known by The Evil Queen, as well as Maleficent also known as Mistress of All Evil, then we have Cruella DeVil, even that of Hades, Gaston, and then that of Scar, as well as many more, necessarily as "stalkers" but more so as “psychopathic wannabe failing murders.”
However, if "WE" are talking Disney villains and who could be considered as a stalker, I would say there is ONLY ONE candidate... that candidate is not that of, The Evil Queen, or even Ursula, but the REAL CANDIDATE is... 🥁🥁🥁🥁
✨✨LADY TREMAINE, THE WICKED STEPMOTHER FROM CINDERELLA✨✨
Thanks and that's my rebuttal.
Have a nice day…. BUH-BYEEEEEEEEEE
The idea of her being stalked by the prince is a little bit much it’s a little bit of a reach I mean he sees her maybe once or twice three times and then find her possibly dead and tries to do something to help her has been hell what’s wrong with a 21st century fantasy like this everyone wants something like this not everyone is into this actresses idealism of she is wanting to be a leader and doesn’t want a prince doesn’t need a prince blah blah blah no that’s not the story-the story has nothing to do with being stalked like whatever the previous actress they had was saying is bullshit
My opinion on the original snow white movie is this:
It's not necessarily misogynistic.
👏👏👏👏👏
I definitely agree they don't need to change much to make the old film modern aside from those points you made.
Agreed 💯
I think mirror mirror did it best, gave snow white agency while also letting her fall in love
THIS! I love that movie, for many reasons, I love Snow White, I love the costuming, the set and the song at the end- LIKE Y E S-
I rewatched it a couple of days ago.
I loved Mirror Mirror for that ❤️
@@0racle.sunrise3570 mirror mirror is best Snow White.
WYM, They Still The Best In The Industry 😂.
@@tommyfromtheblocktheir recent movies say otherwise
I personally have more of a problem with the lack of the seven dwarves, as the tale is "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves." The idea of Snow being more a fighter doesn't bother me, mainly due to reading the original tale. In that story, Snow started catching wise to the Evil Queen's tricks, and she had to adjust her methods.
Disney wouldn’t exist without Snow White, so in the words of the famous Sidney Prescott “Don’t F*ck with the original!”
The Fact That U Use A Quote From A Horror Movie Doesn't Prove Your Point 😑.
In my opinion, if you want to change huge aspects of the movie, then just make an original movie. It’s blatant agenda pushing
I really don’t think there’s an agenda
@redasegarden in my opinion, the films agenda seems to be the push for women to stop trying have a relationship or a partner in return for them being centred around a career because the think that’s what will make women happy.
Literally every story, especially children stories, pushes an "agenda" that's the point of a story
@@lurkyb0i602 Um cause it does because people want different things, sure love and all that can work for some women others don't want that or would like a balance you can't just decide what will make everyone happy because no 2 people are the same

Granted, it does include a love story but it does have all the stuff that Smarty mentioned with Snow White having more of an agenda and taking back her kingdom from her evil stepmother. i think the problem isn't the actress, or what she said.

In my opinion, I don't fully agree with Rachel's opinion, but I understand it to some extent and respect it.

I never knew that about the original voice actress. That's really sad. I'm glad voice actors are treated better nowadays.

Same, I don’t care for what the actors say, when the movie comes out and ends up being bad, blame it on the writers.

Actually it's been revealed that her pr team had nothing to do with what she said. Everything that came out of her mouth was her true opinions 😂.
Agreed.

Movie stars who shit on their source material for a film they play in seem to be a common trend nowadays.
I can't believe that the meaning of fairest of them all has been changed, you have to admit that this movie will be terrible
I'm just a bit sad we're seeing all these films get awful CGI remakes.
You mean live-action remakes?
@@GirlYouDontKnow-rx3lm Yea, for the most part but Lion King and other movies were done using CGI and just market them as live action
@@treasureboxgaming7109 That's true. Their backgrounds were live-action but the characters were CG.
They should just not call the movie snow white and make it original IP. Disney just plucked Snow White on the title for name recognition.
yeah i just lost interest with most internet drama. Like I have better things to care about lol.
There already has been a strong version of Snow White, has she not heard of Once Upon A Time?
While I don't fulky agree with Rachel's takes, I do feel that the backlash is too far (I also feel that misogyny & racism plays a part in this).

A character that Rachel admits to hating
Rachel Zegler isn't a baby, she's old enough to be mentally aware of what she's doing.
Thankyou! That's such high praise and I really appreciate it :)
Me personally if I wanna see a badass Snow White then I watch Once Upon of Time's portrayal of Snow White, they keep the love story(made it better imo) and made her badass
Idk why Rachel is making it out that this is like the first time you see a modern Snow White because Once Upon a Time came out like 2011 and the show ended in 2018. So idk
the vibe of your videos are like a less angry and less bitter mr.sunday movies. Mr.sunday is my favorite but he's almost as cynical as me and your style is a nice change of tone. subbed
and this, kids, is one of the reasons why we keep getting these dumb live action remakes
If there's someone who needs a break is Hailey Bailey.she has been racisised all over the world just because of skin colour even though she was perfect for the role.
Smarty pants HONESTY I don't think Rachel will develop. This new snow white is looking really stupid, but im not raging about it
In my Opinion, it’s just people don’t want Romance stories because a lot of the time it’s pretty much the same thing, perfect 2 people and no Trouble.
When will you make "Why Miraculous Drama is Stupid"?
WTH???
I’m gonna be honest Disney is making it into something it’s not simple as that
I agree with most of your points here and it's exactly how I feel.
The problem is that writers think they are breaking a harmful stereotype for women when all they're doing is replacing it with another stereotype.
I must say I quite admire your take on this topic because most of the general public are very against the actress thou I will she’s quite foolish to have said the things she said in interviews
How about this…just stop with the remakes and stop hiring snarky actors. Better writing, better movies, papa johns
She just needs to stop speaking to maintain the movie's reputation as the actors reflect on the production of the film
People:
HEY LETS BE CRAPHEADS>>>>>>>>>
@@jarontirosh324 yeah
Merida also didn't get a romantic partner cuz she was wanting to change her fate and not get married.
they are grifters thats how they make money. all these channels critical drinker , robot heads etc.. none of these people truly stands for antyhing
And yet those same people have bigger balls than most of us when it comes to calling entitled people like Rachel zegler out on their nonsensical BS
Love is not a weak thing, its beautiful and should be integrated more
She makes herself hated
We saw how she acts, we heard her tone, she deserves all the backlash.
Her fault, director's fault, Disney's fault, ... fault?
Thank you so much for speaking out. People are really just dragging Rachel Zegler through the mud for this new movie.
This could be solved in two simple ways:
1. Bump up the age of Snow and lower the Prince's (maybe 17 & 18 or something)
Acting is a job she doesn’t have to like it. And to me she is right the movie is pretty boring.
@@bethelmpindu8121 but why dump on it if you are in it
I can't wait to now see this movie 😂😂😂
You don't treat the paying customer like this.
How ironic.
What do you mean by that?
It wasnt that old
She is a glass ceiling breaker! She sings a song in her bathroom, and instantly she is in major film after major film after major film. No one needs to go to acting school any more. No one even needs to graduate from high school. Just follow her lead, and you too can make millions, walk the red carpet, and become a major influencer.
Did you see her in West Side Story? I thought she was perfect in that movie, one of the best things about it even.
Maybe fans who want to protect Snow White's reputation should try to be more like the character of Snow White and be gracious to grumpy people.
The point isnt that she is a nornal 22 year old is sayng her opinion about Snow white
The point is that she is the main actress of Snow White, a story she doesnt like, abd she want to made it her own thing
