This performance was literally so beautiful and I literally felt every word he sang. It was so sweet to see him sing this song to his mother, and it really added to the emotion. Feel free to tell us more ideas for the next reaction, as always :) Go listen to our new song: bit.ly/MoonpoolSong
This song is not a part of his tour, he and the pianist learned the song the night before the show to surprise the Ukrainian audience. This is his mom, but until the age of 10 he was raised by his grandma according to Kazakh tradition, and he calls his grandparents mom and dad too. (They all lived in the same house). His mom is an opera singer and his dad is a singer and a producer. His parents are a famous duo in Kazakhstan.
Nice reaction! Looks like Sean googled Marigolds 😁 Igor only plays the songs he composed, and sometimes joins Dimash's tour. But generally, DQ band is the one that plays in his concerts. You should really watch his Arnau concert, or maybe react to it?
Please ask Elizabeth to read an important message that dqdear0524 sent her on Instagram. It is regarding copyright blocks of Dimash's videos. Thank you!
In his concerts Dimash always involves his audience a lot. You should watch his entire concerts to understand how much and how wonderfully he interacts with his audience.
Totally agree! Maybe 2-4 songs at a time would be practical. And a live streaming mode perhaps? I'd say only when people have watched Dimash at concert, they have seen how he truly is:)
The cameraman who filmed Dimash's mother crying wanted to show us, to share with us the infinite love and emotion of his mother towards his son !!! It is not a shame, it is a blessing to have a child from Heaven !!! Dimash is a very complex, very modest, very deep person. Also a sublime handsome man, very wise. He is perfect. He is such a human and pure being that, in my opinion, we ordinary people have not yet fully discovered him and I think his parents do not. Both the family and those of us who love him are a little overwhelmed by Dimash's supernatural wealth, God-given wealth, obviously! Without God, nothing exists! So Dimash is really a miracle, hard to understand. The vast majority who analyze him, from all points of view, voice, physique, etc., perceive only the visible part of his miracle. The hardest to feel is the spiritual part of Dimash, which is the key, the secret as I called it, between him and God. From here began his conception as a man and as an artist. Its beauty on the inside is reflected on the outside, like a mirror. His supernatural voice is his own inner self torn from Heaven. In conclusion, our dear and beloved man and artist Dimash is God's chosen one for this planet !! Let's be proud that we are privileged to have met Dimash and try to get to know him every day. You are the wonder of the Universe !!!
👉 Dimash sings here, in Kiev/ Ukraine. That’s is the last concert from his world -tour before Corona paralyzed everything. The Dears gave him a traditional Ukrainian shirt at the airport reception and Dimash wore it to everyone's amazement and delight at the opening of this concert. He learned this Ukrainian folk song overnight for his Dears and he also sings to his mama in the audience… so touching. 🌼🇩🇪
Dimash's mum, Sveta (Svetlana), is a classically trained soprano and is well known in Kazakhstan. Dad, Kanat also sings and he writes songs and produces.
WOW! This is Song Emotionante, Lyrics, Brilliant... Bravisimo, Dimash! Master Vokal in the World Unikall! Phenomenal! Artist! Still specifico Uniko! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dimash said in an interview that the songs that he loves most to sing is about his mum 💕 his parents are his role models , both are honoured musicians in Kazakhstan and have supported him in is musical journey, he always trying to make them proud 💕
Yes, that is Dimash's mother. Dimash & the pianist learned this song the night before to surprise her. So wonderful when he gets the audience to sing with him. This brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it. Thank you.
No matter how many times I watch this performance and it's been easy a dozen, I still cry when the audience joins in. Just beautiful and so very touching 🌷🇰🇿 💟 🇰🇿🌷
A beautiful and touching song. Seeing how much this moved his Mother I get testy eyed too. Both parents are singers and Dimash has followed them on stage since he was a toddler.
in his concerts, which I have not had the great privilege of attending one in person yet, but I have watched them on RUclips, he has his audience sing A LOT! :)
Wow great Andrea. very touching song and performance. so emotional. Especially when all the audience sang together, then Dimash's mother cried. It was a very beautiful and definitely emotional moment. Incredible.....💗
His mom is a very great soprano in Kazakhstan .. she said then she don’t gonna cry … and voilà … I cried ( and I don’t understand ) beautiful merci 🌹🇫🇷
Igor is really only involved (playing the piano) when Dimash sings one of his songs. He doesn't accompany him on other songs. Dimash's parents are highly regarded singers and musicians in Kazakhstan and have been given the award of "Honored Music Artist". Here's more info I found: Kanat Aitbayev proceeded to become the leader of the regional cultural development board of Aktobe while his wife Svetlana Aitbayeva joined the Aktobe Philharmonic Society as a soprano singer and also became the Artistic Director of the Saz children's studio in Aktobe. Dimash also has a musical grandfather who raised him along with his grandmother (the custom in Kazakhstan). His grandfather is a well-known Dombra player as well as his father Kanat. Thanks for the fun episode, looking forward to the next one. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the latest episode of Musicians React featuring Dimash. As usual, a great performance where he proves he is an incredible voice. A very nice tribute to his mother.
Thanks for your reaction! Qaragym-ai is yet another emotional must-watch performance :) It's a tribute to the song's composer, who passed away from covid.
That’s his mum - so emotional for her and beautifully delivered by Dimash. He learnt this beloved folk song pretty much overnight for his audience (sung in Ukrainian I think). Both Dimash’s mum and dad are both singers/musicians and are famous in their country. His mum, Svetlana Aitbayeva, is a soprano singer at the Aktobe Philharmonic Society. His dad, Kanat, is also a music producer. Dimash’s grandfather is a virtuoso Dombra player and taught Dimash to play. His grandmother was a singer and teacher. It’s all in the genes.
I agree with you Sean. I truly enjoy when a singer can just sing at a low range or just use emotion to get their point across which is why Lara Fabian is such an amazing singer. Watching her sing Je Suis Malade Live 2003 and do A cappella at the end of the song without the mike and the pianist is just jaw dropping.
Dimash's siblings have musical talents, too. His sister Raushan has a beautiful voice, but she does not feel comfortable on the stage. She studies medicine. There is a video of them singing together on stage. Sorry, forgot the name. It is in English. Mansur, his brother, plays the dombra. He was in the group of dombra players at Dimash's New York concert.
This one will really rip you up if you've lost your Mom - I lost mine 3 & 1/2 years ago, and I can't see this video or hear this song without being reduced to a blubbering pile of emotional wreckage. But I always do it to myself; it's cathartic....
Sean you are so silly. I am amazed you know so much about flower gardening! I love you guys. Yes it is his mother and the audience knows the song because it is like a national lullaby
Keep in mind that Dimash was raised by his paternal grandparents, and called them the equivalent of Mama and Papa. That was a traditional arrangement in Kazakhstan. He didn’t realize his grandparents were not his parents for years. So as he sings about his mother’s aging hands, maybe his real mom wasn’t offended at all.
Dimash only works with Igor in Russia, although he did go on Igors 65th Birthday concert tour, but no, only in Russia normally. Igor did play at one of his Moscow concerts as a guest 💖
I always enjoy your Dimash reaction, please check Dimash singing song "Astana",he sing with his both vocal teachers and his Mother and his father gretting from Miami Florida.
Hearing her son sing his love to her must fill his Mother with so much pride and emotion. I am sure that she doesn't care a whit that the lyric characterizes the mother in the song as "aging". Svetlana is a beautiful woman, for sure. But knowing the fine person that is Dimash, i can't imagine his Mom would be such a narcissist as to be irritated because of a lyric in a song. BTW, both his parents have music backgrounds. His mom was a pretty well known opera singer in Kazakhstan.
This audience sing-along was even better than the French audience singing Je T'aime back to Laura Fabian (that was an amazing moment because she had NO idea it was going to happen; a surprise set up by the fan club and the stage manager). With Dimash and his mother, this is even better. I THINK this MIGHT have been Mother's Day as well...but I could be wrong about that; all I know for certain is that Dimash was in Ukraine with this AMAZING, severely under-rated performance.
Hi beatiful gente. About Dimash’s Mother, yes she is a very well known song er in Kazakistan as well as his father. I suggest that you react to the following: DEAREST MOTHER. I will send to you the link soon
I read somewhere that this was at some "Women's Conference," or something, and that Dimash learned the song in a very short time to surprise his mother with at that concert.
Although this song has its authors it is considered to be a folk one. It is highly beloved by the Ukrainians, that's why they are very thankful to Damash who has sung this song with such tenderness and delight. The audience is especially grateful because of his respect to the Ukrainians and their language. BTW his Ukrainian pronunciation is excellent! Thanks for the reaction - love it!
I am glad to hear this song was sung in Ukrainian, I didn't realize it.. I don't think it's been especially pointed out that it isn't in Russian or Kazakh. Can you tell me if the word "aging" is the correct translation? Or is it another word that conveys the same idea? It seems weird to me that the lyrics would use that word.
@@sandrachristiansen1404 Ukrainian is a really beautiful language. The adjective *старенька* means elderly, originally it has a diminutive suffix. Hardly possible to translate the song word-for-word...but it sounds so tender!
@@sandrachristiansen1404 Usually in old folk songs Ukrainians used the world "staren'ka" which means "dear old lady" in a very affectionate way concerning their beloved mothers. Kindly diminutive suffixes are commonly used in the lyrics of the songs and poetry. It's great that Dimash sings in so many languages to show respect to the people of the country he performs.
For yet another emotional song without Big voice changing try Qaragym-ai. It’s a tribute to his Teacher/ mentor Kenes Duisekeyev who died of covid last year😭😭😭
(Don't know about Kazakhs, but I do know that not every culture is embarrassed about aging; doubt Dimash's team would post a video his mom was unhappy about.) Recommend Quragym ai, from the 60th anniversary Kazakhconcert, for another Dimash. Really look forward to your reactions. Greetings from Alaska.
Please try this very emotional song about the death of a favorite professor who died of the covid. I think Dimash did a fantastic job on it. There is no one in the audience. I pronounce it as (care-ah-gee-um- eye) God Bless. A capella style - Karagym-Ai - Dimash Kudaibergen
Check out his Screaming - both the official music video and the Idol Hits performance; Samaltau - the Tokyo Jazz version, or Qaragym-ai - just his voice and a piano - simply beautiful!

Впечатление сейчас такое, что это поёт украинец, акцента не слышно даже ?!.
Цэй його талант вiд Бога i, безумовно результат выснажлывоii працi,-- дужэ дывуе i зразу прыголомшуе кожного iноземця...
Навiть орiгiналы його кавэрiв -- блiднуть i програють !..
Щiро дякуемо i вклоняемося -- ЙОГО ХЫСТУ, ВЭЛЫЧi, СЕРДЕЧНОСТi ВЫКОНАННЯ i АРТЫСТiЗМУ!..
