STORYLINE
Prime Minister Tony Blair said on Tuesday it would be hard for him to leave office but acknowledged it was the right thing to do.
In a wistful but forward looking speech to his last annual Labour conference as leader, Blair told the party it must remain bold if it is to hold onto power and said the only legacy he cared about was Labour's winning a fourth term.
Many waved supportive placards.

A party of government right there.
A war criminal?
If it wasn't for Irak. He wouldve been one of the best PMs in modern history.
Iraq, you pleb.
He still was
Not exactly a hard contest to win
Bro for me he was the best prime minister this had ever seen... 🇬🇧👏😊
And it was at this moment that Labour lost its way
Blair would’ve won in 2010 if he didn’t stand down
@@ciaranmarsh255that is very much incorrect, Blair’s personal popularity was decimated by this point
Little did the conference know that the party would lose the next 3 General Elections.
We will never know what would have happened if Blair had soldiered on.
Blair is 4 years younger than Corbyn so it was quite feasible.
Little did the conference know that the party would lose the next 4 general elections
"Your the future now do make the most of it." If only they had listened.
Blair wins more seats than Cameron. Cleggy joins with the tories in a coalition. Blair stays in as opposition leader and wins 2015
This is when Labour was Labour. Now it's a gutter politics party.
look at the dc farce he will not go a it
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Blair let the neo liberal rot set in. They are just diet Tory.
Look at Gordon. Just look at him.
The best Prime Minister we've had
Better than Attlee? Better than Churchill (war time only)? Better than Gladstone or Pit the younger? This stupid comment completely captures the essence of Blair … no substance
I'm a history student. I'm looking for some ideas on the dossier. As in, why was it used? Why did we go for Saddam? Anyone got anything that doesn't involve oil and relations with America?
oil and puppet conspiracies are rubbish. check out blair's speech in chicago 1999. while bush was still debating against al gore he was already outlining his foreign policy of humanitarian intervention and taking on saddam after milosevic.
If it was oil then why intervene in Sierra Leone?
I'm a history student. Have you scene what the tory party have done since 2009 when they forced an election?
anyone know song at beginning?
Stay, by take that. A shitty boy band with no talent.
When we had freedom, thank you, Labour Party. I feel sorry for the children born this day and age from brexit Conservative voters since they don't want their children to have freedom and want them to live back in the Vic TORY in ages.
Delusional comment
Who is that woman in the red in the background to the left at 3:58? She's gorgeous.
Probably another Baroness Token
@@BossySwan what are you suggesting?
Creep
In Urdu meaning touch. Me not.
God bless you mr Blair your are the greatest and the best prime minister ever
Your nuts
Another War Criminal Walking Free and soon to Become a Lord too. 😮😢
Let me guess, you voted conservatives, brexit, and support Russia invading Ukraine. Who is the war criminal now?!
Evil personified
Did he cause brexit, freedom taken away, shortages of goods, jobs, or was it the conservatives and the 65% who voted to get brexit done. If you want to talk about evil, look at the country today. Maybe take a history lesson of what happened in 1984. What happened in 1984 is what is happening now.

You could say the same about Churchill. You could say the same about Major. You could say the same about Thatcher. You could say the same about Chamberlain. You could say the same about Truman, D Roosevelt or Truman who all did 10x worse and Blair didn't even commit war crimes. You idiots need to learn the difference between illegal wars and war crimes before spreading false shit all over the Internet, you just came here like one of them overgrown sad tory bellends to spout your baseless shit.
