What a wonderful episode! Thank you for teaching the word faithfully in a time when so many distort and teach things not historically biblical. God bless you all and keep up the good work!

The story of "best sellers" and influences reminds me of this story.
As we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit of divination and brought her owners much gain by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and us, crying out, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation." And this she kept doing for many days. Paul, having become greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And it came out that very hour. But when her owners saw that their hope of gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the rulers. And when they had brought them to the magistrates, they said, "These men are Jews, and they are disturbing our city. They advocate customs that are not lawful for us as Romans to accept or practice." The crowd joined in attacking them, and the magistrates tore the garments off them and gave orders to beat them with rods. And when they had inflicted many blows upon them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to keep them safely. Having received this order, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened. When the jailer woke and saw that the prison doors were open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, supposing that the prisoners had escaped. But Paul cried with a loud voice, "Do not harm yourself, for we are all here." And the jailer called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas. Then he brought them out and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

I don't know what happened to my comment, but it seems to line up with my life! 😪 I experienced something I can't verify with scripture. I only know that it came true!🙁 Don't still know if that means it was of God. 😔 I have had experiences where I would just know things an other things I can't explain. I have read my Bible in isolation I was not attending church. It is now more difficult to find a church that teaches the word. It can be tricky because it sounds true! Being that I'm not educated it makes it more difficult even more because I have trouble with comprehending of words. I also have difficulty with some words meaning! 💔 I don't read much because it is hard to understand what is said, what is going on, and what it is that is meant by what is written. I have to listen more closely to understand. The word binging I thought you were talking of the search engine Bing! I'm still learning things that are not familiar with. It makes life hard. It bad enough to have this an be put down, bullied, teased, and picked on by others who basically thought I should die! 💔

And I remain confused as to why you'd believe, that an unchanging, omniscient God would do anything in response to pleas. I mean, he already knows, whoever would and wouldn't, should and shouldn't be affected by any given event, that takes place. He has complete control over the universe, what makes you think, that a plea, he already knows is coming, would change anything about the course of events currently happening?

As far as the creation story, the fall was a reversal of God's order. This must be why Paul says it's not permitted for woman to speak in Church.

No. God speaks the way he wants to speak. You should desire to hear him and obey him.

I just read your comment from 4 months ago regarding hearing the audible voice of God. You asked if anyone has heard of Justin Peters. I have watched some of his videos, I like the one he does on false teachers(pastors)! However, I disagree with his theology on hearing God's audible voice because I HAVE heard it! It's a long story to put into comments but has this happened to you?! I have heard of others as well and I believe them due to my experience.........God bless you

Yep. The world may not read the Bible, but it certainly reads it's Christians.

A bunch of Atheists also read the Bible... Funnily enough, there are several instances, in which them reading the Bible cover to cover, while they were still Christians, actually broke that worldview, which they grew up in. I'm not one of them, so I can't tell you, what exactly caused that effect, but it happens.

@@remor698 surprises me how much atheists spend time with bashing Christianity.

    • @remor698
      @remor698 4 года назад

@@mahlatsimoroka1500 Well, that behavior usually stems from them seeing the sort of harm, many worldviews based in Christianity or any other religion can bring about for the believers. As such, they try to wake them up, get them to see what they perceive to be really going on, sometimes disregarding the fact, that there are quite a few instances, in which religion legitimately helps the believer. Although there are also way too many instances, in which religion has been and is being used for nefarious purposes, to the absolute detriment of the believers and everyone around them. Those instances are the Christianity bashing atheist's intended targets.
It isn't necessarily an attempt to deconvert people (although that is the most likely effect of their actions) and it isn't an attempt to stay opposed to Christianity, like some people would have you believe (since being angry at God and being an atheist are two contradictory things), instead, they mostly just seek to get people to step away from what they perceive to be harmful worldviews.

16:15 "So whose fault is this?" - Well, based on the fact, that God created everything and, based on him being omniscient, knowing, that if he put the tree of life within their reach and added a snake, that would go on to lead them to let themselves be deceived, it is God's fault.
18:01 "He put things into place like this, so that mankind could be capable of love through free will." - Disregarding the fact, that you don't give a Bible scripture to support this argument, it doesn't hold up to scrutiny. There are many different ways to construct a world, in which love through free will is possible and the destructive results of sin are not.
    Here's an example for you:
No death, no decay, no suffering. Governed only by these universal laws, the Children play with the very tools of creation, expressing themselves by effortlessly shaping the very world around them and also their own bodies with just their thoughts. Like this, they exist together for all eternity, in an infinite space, playing, showing off, telling stories and experiencing adventures, all of their own design. Meanwhile, the Father watches over them, just enjoying the sight of them having a great time and sometimes even joining in on the action to bond with them and well… to just have fun.
That's something, I once thought up in a couple of minutes. It preserves complete and total freedom, far more so even than the biblical paradise had done, and yet it is physically impossible to cause harm against someone else's will. Not in the sense, that you can't choose to do so, you can do everything you want: Try to summon a wall of spikes out of thin air, try to tear someone apart with claws, create a massive spaceship to rain down an orbital bombardment on top of them; if they choose, that they don't want to be affected by you whatsoever, they won't even know, that you are currently attempting to harm them, completely zoning you out. The Father then could just have a talk with you, seek to turn that hate away from others and transform it into something else.
Please, go ahead and tell me, if you find a way to ruin such a universe, I would love to see it tested.
18:44 "Only eat of the tree, if you think there is something better than me, only if you think, you can make something better than this paradise." - By the very nature of that tree being the tree of knowledge of good and evil, both Adam and Eve had literally no concept of good or evil. Thus they could not possibly evaluate anything around them, their perception of reality completely limited to their blind faith in God, a being, which they also could not evaluate.
19:42 "They were naked, but they weren't ashamed, because there was no self-centeredness." - Nope, they just didn't know, that being naked was wrong yet. Eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil allowed them to see, that it was wrong. Apparently, God created them flawed from the start, full well knowing, that the way they were was wrong.
19:56 "The serpent is being spoken through by the enemy of God." - Don't know where you're getting that from, because the Bible quite clearly classifies it as just another beast of the field, but more crafty than any of the rest, meaning that the serpent in all its deceptiveness is entirely God's creation.
20:54 "Really? If you touch it, you're going to die? Look at me, I'm touching it." - Have you read the Bible? That's quite clearly not what is happening. In fact, the serpent is telling the truth: "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5), based on God's reaction to realizing, that Adam and Eve had eaten of the tree of Knowledge of good and evil: "And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil" (Genesis 3:22). Might I also add, that he is quite clearly scared of the fact, that his creation is gaining attributes, that make man comparable to him? "And now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever" (Genesis 3:22).
36:32 "Scripture is difficult to understand." - And why is that? Should it not be God's desire to be easily accessible by men? Does he actively not want us to be able to follow his laws, as they are written in such a way, that understanding of them varies from person to person?
