Man but sad that even they alive they cannot together :( sakura chose to stay at her country while syaoran keep travel with fye and kurogane. They deserved a better ending, they suffered too much. For those who are very confused. CLAMP the author of cardcaptor sakura and tsubasa chronicles... how do I explain this.. CLAMP is the type of author that writes her plots all to different universes. Tsubasa chronicles is in a different universe and cardcaptor sakura is in another different universe. If you have watched other CLAMP anime like chobits and Kobato. All of CLAMP's plot and anime/manga are all linked by one special bond, and that is all their anime are just in different universes. So CLAMP is very creative... lolol
this series desperately need a reboot like Fruits Basket!! I love Tsubasa Chronicles so much when I was a child and up until now, I still keep on rewatching and re-reading the series. It's such a masterpiece! ❤️

So eventually I just gave up. lol.* I hopped on Tsubasa back when it first debuted way back when, due to my love and history with CCS. *I'm a CCS otaku, but* I just couldn't tolerate Tsubasa anymore. *There's lots of stuff about Tsubasa that I like,* but there;s far too much that I'm unwilling to deal with.

Clamp has a reputation for tragedy in their work. When they made CCS, it was an exception to their usual style. The writer had said she wanted Syaoran to be the protagonist in Tsubasa, cuz CCS Syaoran got a happy ending, but felt he should have worked for it. Which is why Syaoran has to suffer in Tsubasa lol
True lol. Most of CLAMP characters need therapy, assuming that the therapists can stay sane after conversing with them. At least CLAMP gave them a happy life in Horitsuba.
Laser I don't know DC have a complex and weird timeline as the new-52 Earth 1 have a lot of stuff happening to it right now like it being different from the original with characters from the pre-52 Earth 1 being in it. Also Tim Drake from the pre-52 Earth 1 turned out to be the same as new-52 Tim Drake even though they are really different with their timeline.

This Syaoran's love for this Sakura is almost crazy, he practically gave her his whole life, his time, his freedom, his TIMELINE is a mess because of it and he doesnt get any in return, and he's fine with it as long as she's alive. 😢😢😢 CLAMP... Li Tsubasa and Watanuki life is so tragic and even both Clone SYaoran And clone Sakura got the happy time together but they have to suffer all the way and at last dissapear while being seperated for too long. It haunted me at nights and still does evertime recall their fate. We need a sequeal of xxxholic and tsubasa at where the stories go on after Syaoran keep travelling to look for their clones. Because *the feelings I had when I was a child are too overbearing for me to handle now.* Life was a lot more sparkly back then. Seeing sakura reminds me of that. And having gone through so much over the years (both joy and pain & loss), I just can't handle it. I can handle DBZ and SailorMoon, but not *CCS. OH GOD THE PAIN I remember getting to this part of the manga and bursting into tears. It was one of the first manga I ever kept up with for YEARS. And this particular scene fucks me up emotionally for a couple of reasons. SPOILERS TO FOLLOW! :D . First: well these two are in love, so this is already tragic. They aren’t the same characters from CardCaptor Sakura, but they look enough like them and it’s sad knowing that they’re happy in one universe, but not in another. Second: this is technically not the first time she’s died. Doesn’t matter which version of her it is: she seems to suffer a stabbing. Also, she’s a ghost, so how does she bleed? Probably due to CLAMP’s thirst for violence, which had been dormant since X/1999’s hiatus. Third: I find it interesting that this came out before the big surge of new shounen battle anime, and this series is technically in the shounen genre. In every one of those types of stories, the popular ones anyways, the plot is “a character has a dream or desire and will do whatever it takes to get it.” For Naruto, it’s a young boy wanting to become hokage. In Attack on Titan, Eren wants to kill all of the Titans. In Demon Slayer, Tanjiro wants to save his sister. And in Tsubasa, Syaoran wants to save his childhood friend. And it’s in THIS SCENE RIGHT HERE, where it hit me like a truck that this story was subverting the main shounen story, where this young man sacrifices his friendship and his humanity to get parts of her soul back so she doesn’t die, and he kills her. All his hard work to save her ended up being for nothing. Fourth: for an extra layer of hurt, the way she’s falling into his arms mirrors a little bit of the first scene we ever see these two, where she leaps into his arms to greet him when he arrives home. She even tries to confess her feelings but is cut short in an EERILY SIMILAR WAY. Fifth and Finally: Wow it’s great that he became a heartless feather collecting machine and suddenly gains back a slight bit of emotion when he realized he stabbed her. GREAT. 🙃💔 YOUR TIMING IS IMPECCABLE.
Spoiler warning Correcting the second point: this Sakura is not a ghost, but a clone of the real Sakura. Unlike clone Syaoran who was created without a heart/soul, this clone Sakura was created/copied with her heart/soul. Clone Syaoran is originally created to be a feather-collecting machine anyways so real Syaoran planting half of his soul to clone syaoran is actually real Syaoran betting that the clone will grew a heart/soul of his own. He eventually did. Before this scene, clone Syaoran was ordered to kill clone Sakura but was unable to. Yuuko explains that it's bcs of his motoric memories remembered that clone Syaoran loved clone Sakura. So it was hinted at the beginning that clone Syaoran indeed HAVE a heart; it was just overshadowed by his current master. This scene just emphasized as clone Syaoran's late revelation that he is indeed in love with clone Sakura. However, when he came to, it's already too late. I love your third point! I never realized it. It is indeed a subversion of shonen plot having the main protagonist whom initially desired to collect all feathers to save his childhood friend turned into a killing machine bcs of it and become the eventual murderer of said childhood friend whom he'd wanted to protect. It's very ironically done. As expected of CLAMP. I've never noticed it before.
when i was in hs, i watched this show and it intrigued me. then read the manga. the genre of this story is like the top tier level of the isekai we see in this era. but this one is very complex in it's own way. it has a different color. a different underlying undertone to it. it's beautiful and twisted at the same time. kept you thinking about what our world is really like. the infinite possibilities. i do wish it would be re-adapted into an even better version of itself. following the manga as it deals so much with the characters. this story is as i said twisted and beautiful at the same time.
0:37 is probably the BEST SHOCK SCENE I HAVE EVER WATCHED IN AN ANIME. The music is fucking ASTRONOMICAL, the silhouettes were so perfect for the scene, and seeing the side characters reactions😍 those scene is phenomenal

The sheer shock from the horror he had just committed with his own hand overwhelmed his heartless programming as a clone. Killing the most precious thing in your life with your own hands. The entirety of this scene was delivered quite well.

They dont are the Sakura and Shaoran from SCC, already, Sakura clone(in the life as a Shaoran clone wife) meets Sakura from SCC and she gave her the clown cards so she can pay a wish from Yuuko. Thats the reason of the new sequel from SCC, so she can still have magic even if she give away her wannd to the other Sakura.

@@bluelan9393 wrong. The clone reincarnations have nothing to do with CCS Sakura. They are from different dimensions. Also CCS Sakura was in high school when she gave them the star wand so it must've been long after the clear card arc.
@@meeramalhotra33 You're saying the same as me, the Sakura from CSS gave her wand, to the Sakura clone (TRC) who reincarnate in the CSS dimension. Otherwise she couldn't have the wand for her wish. Even if the CCS was much older when she gave the clown wand, that doesn't contradict with the idea of Givin her another wand so she won't stop having her magic.
I also get confused from reading the manga, we learn that the "real Syaroan" was actually the son of the cloned Sakura and Syaroan after they were reborn as regular humans however, the "real Syaroan" was also the base from which the clone Syaroan was created in the first place, thus making their existence a looping paradox

I miss 'Tsubasa Chronicle.' The manga is so beautiful, the characters, the story, the antagonist - everything is so cool. The manga artists from 'CLAMP' poured their soul into their work. I really wish there would be a proper adaptation of the manga in the form of a high-quality anime adaptation. It's sad to see that the series is forgotten. This series could also have a game released based on it.

Tsubasa was my brother's and my favorite show to wacth in the summer. we would have like a two hour lunch to eat and watch anime before finishing out chores. miss watching this with him.
I wish the entire anime was like this OVA… hopefully there is a remake made (especially since CLAMP is working with Netflix to create original content)
Veo muchos comentarios, pensando que esto es Card Captor Sakura. Vale la pena aclarar un par de cosas: 1. Esta historia se llama Tsubasa Recervoir Chronicle. Y es una especie de crossover con muchos personajes de Clamp. No son los personajes de CCSakura. 2. Si quieren ver el anime. Tiene 2 temporadas+pelicula llamado Tsubasa Chronicle, pero como era muy Happy friendly, las autoras decidieron pararlo allí. Pueden verlo sin problemas hasta la historia de los trenes, lo demás puede llamarse relleno, pero es disfrutable. Y la OST de ESPECTACULAR. 3. Luego vienen las OVAS mas fieles al manga pero se saltan muchos eventos. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (3 ovas), luego Tsubasa Shunraiki (2 OVAS) 4. Desde allí puede seguirse con el manga hasta el final. Es recomendable leerlo todo, pero si se vienes del anime, puedes seguir desde mas o menos el cap 100. 5. Este manga tiene capítulos en crossover con xxxHolic, que se cruzan mas o menos a la mitad. No es imprescindible, pero alguno puede perderse cosas importantes si no se lee en paralelo. 6. La historia después de finalizar, continua en Tsubasa World Chronicle.
Honestly I am still not completely over this manga. There were so many things that took place, the characters suffered greatly, the many twists. I wish there had been a complete animated adaptation.
People forget that this world is technically 'connected' to the CCS world...Sakura and Syaran are like soul mates in the CLAMP universe, so no matter where they are they are always together. And the Clow Reed they talk about is always the same one because he world hops. Shame they never did a manga chapter or even a random OVA where these two appear in that world. XD

Essentially, there are four versions of these characters, CCS Sakura and CCS Syaoran, "Sakura" and "Syaoran", Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran and Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran. The first two exist contained in the CCS universe and have only had very limited interactions with the others (CCS Sakura came to Clone Sakura in a vision in Acid Tokyo, they also interacted in dreams sometimes). "Sakura" and "Syaoran" are in reality both named Tsubasa, "Syaoran" is the son of Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran, who are very similar to the originals but they instead met in Honk Kong and not Japan, Alternate CCS Sakura gave Yuko Ichihara, the Dimension Witch, her Star Wand as payment for sending her son "Syaoran" to another world where he was destined to meet his soulmate, Princess "Sakura" of Clow Country; "Syaoran" being permanently removed from this universe also forced the creation of Kimihiro Watanuki, so the universe itself didn't crumble under the weight of the paradox. Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran were created based on "Sakura" and "Syaoran" by the main villain of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Fei Wang Reed, as a safeguard so he could keep the originals trapped while he used the clones to gather the feathers so he could amass enough power to grant his own wish; once they die, Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran's souls are collected by Yuko and reborn as Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran, paradoxically becoming parents to "Syaoran."
Fei Wang Reed may be the main villain, but the true boss is, like CCS, Clow Reed. He created all the troubles, including Fei Wang Reed. He initiated CCS. And without CCS, there is no one to give Li Sakura the star wand to send Tsubasa to Clow Country and there won’t be the same stable time loop.

tsubasa chronicles are one of those animes that has the storyline suddenly giving u a "What???!!!!!" but u still like it... And seriously hope both syaoran and sakura, real or fake is able to live together forever as they wished to.
Fake or not, the Sakura that died here and the Syaoran that unwittingly killed her were STILL the ones that we the audience started this long, heartfelt journey with, so godDAMN it did this hurt to watch! RIP Clone Sakura, you had our hearts with you till the end of the line and beyond!
I just call her Li Sakura to avoid the real-clone mess. I call the real Sakura Princess Tsubasa. At least she didn’t truly die. Her soul is still within princess Tsubasa. It’s sad she got separated from her husband again as Syaoran’s soul is within his son, Tsubasa, who travels forever.
@hungerxhunger2548 even with better odds of landing in Clow country, it took him 2 years to get there for the first time, and that is with Watanuki using his magic to manipulate the next destination as payment for inspiring him to come up with his signature (which, btw, looks like a bird wing).
ngl tsubasa chronicles traumatized me as a kid when i first read it, i loved it so much, especially growing up w ccs, but it was the most gory and depressing thing i read at that age haha
For anyone that don’t understand: Li Tsubasa, the one with brown eyes is the real one. His parents, Li Sakura and Li Syaoran are “clones”. The blue eyed clone in the video and the Sakura here are his parents, that why she said she wasn’t his Sakura. I may be wrong but after watching the whole series and the manga I think this is what I’ve understood.
Hope so too. But it’s gonna be expensive if you expect the same quality of audio. The original anime features lots of top tier seiyuu, musicians, and singers; especially Kajiura. Having even one of them is difficult enough. And keep in mind that for Tsubasa to truly shine, they need to remake xxxHolic too. They are like twins; leaving one out is missing a lot. It will be weird to see Watanuki mentioned as a very important character and see no character development at all. We need both series remade.

I saw this when I was little, and I was traumatized that and thought this was the real ending of CCS. So I watched CCS and realized this wasnt CCS XD. My childhood is ruined but cured.

Three authors got together to make this manga called Tsubasa Chronicles and one of the author who participated is the author of CCS. And that is why Syaoran and Sakura are two of the 5 main characters starring in the series. People shitting on this expecting this to be related to CCS when you can clearly see the different art design. Before spouting nonsense about your theory ask to clarify what Anime this is. This is totally a major spoilers for the manga since Tsubasa Chronicles stays true to it's storyline in the manga. Tsubasa Chronicles even crosses over with another manga called xxxHolic and it also has an Anime adaption as well. You don't need to see both to see what's going on but there will be some scenes that overlaps in the Anime and Manga. And it also answers some questions as to how they were able to obtain something when consulting the "Witch" for an item with a price. Now stop shitting on the graphics and quality since THIS came out AFTER CCS so it actually has BETTER quality.

It could be quiet complicated yea. But CCS are completely different from TRC. The creators just basically used the same characters, tweaked some changes in them, added new characters, did some crossovers, and created a new storyline.
(SORRY FOR BEING LATE) According to google/bing sakura did not die she was just sent in a different world here is one part of it However, in Tsubasa Chronicle-Shunraiki, Sakura does not die. There is a scene where Sakura moves to protect Syaoran and gets injured when the Clone cuts her shoulder3. But this does not result in her death.
Tsubasa chronicle was so wholesome in the beginning and then it just turned into pure mindfuck halfway through. I still stand by my opinion that this needs and deserves a proper anime adaptation. The only thing that gave it justice is the Tokyo revelations and shunraiki ovas and its not enough!!!

Nvm - it seems that Ashura wanted Fay (Yui) as an assurance to when his power will eat away at his sanity - and as Fai has the curse already, it would benefit him as well - it was a win-win

For those who are very confused. CLAMP the author of cardcaptor sakura and tsubasa chronicles... how do I explain this.. CLAMP is the type of author that writes her plots all to different universes. Tsubasa chronicles is in a different universe and cardcaptor sakura is in another different universe. If you have watched other CLAMP anime like chobits and Kobato. All of CLAMP's plot and anime/manga are all linked by one special bond, and that is all their anime are just in different universes. So CLAMP is very creative... lolol

Clamp has a reputation for tragedy in their work. When they made CCS, it was an exception to their usual style. The writer had said she wanted Syaoran to be the protagonist in Tsubasa, cuz CCS Syaoran got a happy ending, but felt he should have worked for it. Which is why Syaoran has to suffer in Tsubasa lol

I remember getting to this part of the manga and bursting into tears.
It was one of the first manga I ever kept up with for YEARS. And this particular scene fucks me up emotionally for a couple of reasons.
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW! :D

First: well these two are in love, so this is already tragic. They aren’t the same characters from CardCaptor Sakura, but they look enough like them and it’s sad knowing that they’re happy in one universe, but not in another.
Second: this is technically not the first time she’s died. Doesn’t matter which version of her it is: she seems to suffer a stabbing. Also, she’s a ghost, so how does she bleed? Probably due to CLAMP’s thirst for violence, which had been dormant since X/1999’s hiatus.
Third: I find it interesting that this came out before the big surge of new shounen battle anime, and this series is technically in the shounen genre. In every one of those types of stories, the popular ones anyways, the plot is “a character has a dream or desire and will do whatever it takes to get it.” For Naruto, it’s a young boy wanting to become hokage. In Attack on Titan, Eren wants to kill all of the Titans. In Demon Slayer, Tanjiro wants to save his sister. And in Tsubasa, Syaoran wants to save his childhood friend. And it’s in THIS SCENE RIGHT HERE, where it hit me like a truck that this story was subverting the main shounen story, where this young man sacrifices his friendship and his humanity to get parts of her soul back so she doesn’t die, and he kills her.
All his hard work to save her ended up being for nothing.
Fourth: for an extra layer of hurt, the way she’s falling into his arms mirrors a little bit of the first scene we ever see these two, where she leaps into his arms to greet him when he arrives home. She even tries to confess her feelings but is cut short in an EERILY SIMILAR WAY.
Fifth and Finally: Wow it’s great that he became a heartless feather collecting machine and suddenly gains back a slight bit of emotion when he realized he stabbed her. GREAT. 🙃💔 YOUR TIMING IS IMPECCABLE.
Spoiler warning
Correcting the second point: this Sakura is not a ghost, but a clone of the real Sakura. Unlike clone Syaoran who was created without a heart/soul, this clone Sakura was created/copied with her heart/soul. Clone Syaoran is originally created to be a feather-collecting machine anyways so real Syaoran planting half of his soul to clone syaoran is actually real Syaoran betting that the clone will grew a heart/soul of his own.
He eventually did. Before this scene, clone Syaoran was ordered to kill clone Sakura but was unable to. Yuuko explains that it's bcs of his motoric memories remembered that clone Syaoran loved clone Sakura. So it was hinted at the beginning that clone Syaoran indeed HAVE a heart; it was just overshadowed by his current master.
This scene just emphasized as clone Syaoran's late revelation that he is indeed in love with clone Sakura. However, when he came to, it's already too late.
I love your third point! I never realized it. It is indeed a subversion of shonen plot having the main protagonist whom initially desired to collect all feathers to save his childhood friend turned into a killing machine bcs of it and become the eventual murderer of said childhood friend whom he'd wanted to protect. It's very ironically done. As expected of CLAMP. I've never noticed it before.

I remember reading the Reservoir Chronicle Manga and getting my brain mess up six ways to Sunday when they first showed the two Syaorans.

when i was in hs, i watched this show and it intrigued me. then read the manga. the genre of this story is like the top tier level of the isekai we see in this era. but this one is very complex in it's own way. it has a different color. a different underlying undertone to it. it's beautiful and twisted at the same time. kept you thinking about what our world is really like. the infinite possibilities. i do wish it would be re-adapted into an even better version of itself. following the manga as it deals so much with the characters. this story is as i said twisted and beautiful at the same time.
RIP to those who came to watch the sweet confession of Sakura to Syaoran only to get this.

They dont are the Sakura and Shaoran from SCC, already, Sakura clone(in the life as a Shaoran clone wife) meets Sakura from SCC and she gave her the clown cards so she can pay a wish from Yuuko. Thats the reason of the new sequel from SCC, so she can still have magic even if she give away her wannd to the other Sakura.

from reading the manga, we learn that the "real Syaroan" was actually the son of the cloned Sakura and Syaroan after they were reborn as regular humans
however, the "real Syaroan" was also the base from which the clone Syaroan was created in the first place, thus making their existence a looping paradox

Veo muchos comentarios, pensando que esto es Card Captor Sakura. Vale la pena aclarar un par de cosas:
1. Esta historia se llama Tsubasa Recervoir Chronicle. Y es una especie de crossover con muchos personajes de Clamp. No son los personajes de CCSakura.
2. Si quieren ver el anime. Tiene 2 temporadas+pelicula llamado Tsubasa Chronicle, pero como era muy Happy friendly, las autoras decidieron pararlo allí. Pueden verlo sin problemas hasta la historia de los trenes, lo demás puede llamarse relleno, pero es disfrutable. Y la OST de ESPECTACULAR.
3. Luego vienen las OVAS mas fieles al manga pero se saltan muchos eventos. Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations (3 ovas), luego Tsubasa Shunraiki (2 OVAS)
4. Desde allí puede seguirse con el manga hasta el final. Es recomendable leerlo todo, pero si se vienes del anime, puedes seguir desde mas o menos el cap 100.
5. Este manga tiene capítulos en crossover con xxxHolic, que se cruzan mas o menos a la mitad. No es imprescindible, pero alguno puede perderse cosas importantes si no se lee en paralelo.
6. La historia después de finalizar, continua en Tsubasa World Chronicle.
Honestly I am still not completely over this manga. There were so many things that took place, the characters suffered greatly, the many twists. I wish there had been a complete animated adaptation.
People forget that this world is technically 'connected' to the CCS world...Sakura and Syaran are like soul mates in the CLAMP universe, so no matter where they are they are always together. And the Clow Reed they talk about is always the same one because he world hops. Shame they never did a manga chapter or even a random OVA where these two appear in that world. XD
This is why I love Tsubasa. The heartbreak is so real. It's beautiful

TRC and xxxHolic needs a remake like they did with Fruits basket. The manga is complete and so much content to animate.
Essentially, there are four versions of these characters, CCS Sakura and CCS Syaoran, "Sakura" and "Syaoran", Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran and Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran.
The first two exist contained in the CCS universe and have only had very limited interactions with the others (CCS Sakura came to Clone Sakura in a vision in Acid Tokyo, they also interacted in dreams sometimes).
"Sakura" and "Syaoran" are in reality both named Tsubasa, "Syaoran" is the son of Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran, who are very similar to the originals but they instead met in Honk Kong and not Japan, Alternate CCS Sakura gave Yuko Ichihara, the Dimension Witch, her Star Wand as payment for sending her son "Syaoran" to another world where he was destined to meet his soulmate, Princess "Sakura" of Clow Country; "Syaoran" being permanently removed from this universe also forced the creation of Kimihiro Watanuki, so the universe itself didn't crumble under the weight of the paradox.
Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran were created based on "Sakura" and "Syaoran" by the main villain of Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Fei Wang Reed, as a safeguard so he could keep the originals trapped while he used the clones to gather the feathers so he could amass enough power to grant his own wish; once they die, Clone Sakura and Clone Syaoran's souls are collected by Yuko and reborn as Alternate CCS Sakura and Alternate CCS Syaoran, paradoxically becoming parents to "Syaoran."

Fei Wang Reed may be the main villain, but the true boss is, like CCS, Clow Reed. He created all the troubles, including Fei Wang Reed.
He initiated CCS. And without CCS, there is no one to give Li Sakura the star wand to send Tsubasa to Clow Country and there won’t be the same stable time loop.

tsubasa chronicles are one of those animes that has the storyline suddenly giving u a "What???!!!!!" but u still like it... And seriously hope both syaoran and sakura, real or fake is able to live together forever as they wished to.
I remembered this series from reading it in high school. Couldn't remember what it was called until now tho.
Fake or not, the Sakura that died here and the Syaoran that unwittingly killed her were STILL the ones that we the audience started this long, heartfelt journey with, so godDAMN it did this hurt to watch! RIP Clone Sakura, you had our hearts with you till the end of the line and beyond!

@hungerxhunger2548 even with better odds of landing in Clow country, it took him 2 years to get there for the first time, and that is with Watanuki using his magic to manipulate the next destination as payment for inspiring him to come up with his signature (which, btw, looks like a bird wing).
ngl tsubasa chronicles traumatized me as a kid when i first read it, i loved it so much, especially growing up w ccs, but it was the most gory and depressing thing i read at that age haha

For anyone that don’t understand:
Li Tsubasa, the one with brown eyes is the real one. His parents, Li Sakura and Li Syaoran are “clones”. The blue eyed clone in the video and the Sakura here are his parents, that why she said she wasn’t his Sakura. I may be wrong but after watching the whole series and the manga I think this is what I’ve understood.
Finally someone decided to call them with their real names. Stop using all the real-clone prefixes. They are sook confusing.

Hope so too. But it’s gonna be expensive if you expect the same quality of audio. The original anime features lots of top tier seiyuu, musicians, and singers; especially Kajiura. Having even one of them is difficult enough.
And keep in mind that for Tsubasa to truly shine, they need to remake xxxHolic too. They are like twins; leaving one out is missing a lot. It will be weird to see Watanuki mentioned as a very important character and see no character development at all. We need both series remade.

I saw this when I was little, and I was traumatized that and thought this was the real ending of CCS. So I watched CCS and realized this wasnt CCS XD. My childhood is ruined but cured.

This is an entirely different Anime/Universe from CCS.
Three authors got together to make this manga called Tsubasa Chronicles and one of the author who participated is the author of CCS. And that is why Syaoran and Sakura are two of the 5 main characters starring in the series. People shitting on this expecting this to be related to CCS when you can clearly see the different art design. Before spouting nonsense about your theory ask to clarify what Anime this is. This is totally a major spoilers for the manga since Tsubasa Chronicles stays true to it's storyline in the manga.
Tsubasa Chronicles even crosses over with another manga called xxxHolic and it also has an Anime adaption as well. You don't need to see both to see what's going on but there will be some scenes that overlaps in the Anime and Manga. And it also answers some questions as to how they were able to obtain something when consulting the "Witch" for an item with a price.
Now stop shitting on the graphics and quality since THIS came out AFTER CCS so it actually has BETTER quality.

i watched the anime, read the manga, even read the synopsis on Wikipedia and i still don't understand it...
It could be quiet complicated yea. But CCS are completely different from TRC. The creators just basically used the same characters, tweaked some changes in them, added new characters, did some crossovers, and created a new storyline.

However, in Tsubasa Chronicle-Shunraiki, Sakura does not die. There is a scene where Sakura moves to protect Syaoran and gets injured when the Clone cuts her shoulder3. But this does not result in her death.
Tsubasa chronicle was so wholesome in the beginning and then it just turned into pure mindfuck halfway through.
I still stand by my opinion that this needs and deserves a proper anime adaptation. The only thing that gave it justice is the Tokyo revelations and shunraiki ovas and its not enough!!!

Like, it can't be that he's just a person who "coincidentally" came across a world on the verge of destruction, found a pair of twins (one alive, another dead), raised the kid, knew he's cursed, wanted to willingly give up his life for the kid - like, that doesn't make sense - they are not even related or anything - King Ashura had nothing to gain from it...
Nvm - it seems that Ashura wanted Fay (Yui) as an assurance to when his power will eat away at his sanity - and as Fai has the curse already, it would benefit him as well - it was a win-win
