I honestly think this is the best screen setup you can get on a vehicle. It fits nicely in the dash, still has all the buttons you need, and it’s not overly large.
Ben FYI. I was looking at used Ford F150's in my area. The XLT truck held their values the best of all. A two year old F150 King ranch with 35K miles at my local ford dealership was down nearly 30K from its original MSRP. XLT is best bang for the buck.
Ben, I just looked at that truck from the link you put in the description. its equipped with the 301A pkg 2024 = Pro trailer assist, Pro hitch assist standard on 301, 302 and 303A pkgs 2025 = Pro trailer assist and remote start was stripped from 301, you must get the 302 or above to get those features its kind of crazy because the truck you are showing has the trailer brake controller, Tow/Haul Pkg and Max tow e-lock rear axle but not the pro trailer assist and pro hitch assist aka The knob.. also for 2025 for the XLT, 300A pkg.. no 360 camera, no knob, bench seat, column shifter aka watered down XLT and that level is still not affordable.
I priced out the pickup I wanted and it was $70k for an XLT. They So I decided I didn’t need to upgrade my 2020. They do have some big discounts finally.
I was once considering an XLT but then the build and price was forcing me to add $12k on the truck for a package that included 1 feature I wanted. Just a lot of money for stuff I didn’t really want
Let me guess, there was "two different packages" but the one you wanted, that really had ONE FEATURE you wanted and a bunch of others you didn't, and Package 1 required Package 2 to also be added???? Drives me nuts they do this, if you can't add package A with out B those are NOT two packages FFS. They all do it and it's BS. My favorite is when the additional package has completely unrelated crap, Oh you want better headlights so you can see at night? Well then you have to add 20in rims and a "night edition" package! NO!!!!!!!! lol It's like I'm shopping for cable television all over again.
Seriously, manufacturers keep features behind expensive packages just to sell more expensive trucks. Like, if you just wanted to add heated seats, you have to get the XLT Mid 302A package which is $4k with stuff you may or may not want.
@@daniel0atk 100% While they deserve their fair share of criticism at least Ram allows heated steering/seats for about $400ish bucks without having to add anything else in Bighorn on up, at least in 3/4 and 1ton as those are all I shop.
No heated seats is a deal breaker that too in a 60k price heated seats should be standard atleast in this xlt a k4 gt line has heated seats as standard and costs less than half of this
Even IF this particular truck came standard with all the missing features (remote start, rear operating window, tailgate assist, etc.) it STILL wouldn't warrant the $60K price tag. Next to the Tremor, why would anyone go for the XLT.
There are many thousands of new 2024 F150s sitting on Ford dealer lots that they need to move. So if you are a smart consumer, why would you want a 2025 other than color choice?
Ben hear me out, unrelated to this video. If you get the chance, please do a 2500 ZR2 vs a 2500 AT4 review. I know you did the comparison with the AT4X. However from a pricing standpoint 2500 ZR2 and 2500 AT4 is pretty much the same. I’m thinking to go gas V8, don’t need the Duramax capability as I’m not towing anything. I’m wondering which is the better driving truck, which has the better interior, which is a more comfortable ride. I do care about MPG, my guess is that AT4 would do slightly better due to the tire setup. Thank you from VA, love your videos! Keep up the great work! No one does it at the level you’re doing it at out here on YT! 👊
Msrp on my 2023 f150 3.5 liter sport xlt was 63k but got it for 57k. I leased it being i can't afford to finance this truck. It's ok but I'm going back to a V8 when my lease is up and buying older.
@joeyboy3209 Great choice brother, I've traded in my 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it with over 163,000 miles on it for a 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L Endurance V8 in it that only had 32 miles on it and now has over 4500 miles on it and let me tell you the Titan is a freakn beast.
I could upgrade vehicles but at these current prices it’s a hard sell. Even as a guy that makes 200k a year. I want a tremor but I drive a paid off toyota 4Runner with 190000km that I might just keep until it blows up
it depends on what the buyer makes annually say for ex your a Police Captain makes around 140,000 a year before overtime etc. as tech increases that drives the price of vehicles up also depends on dealership you buy from some are notorious for overcharging Pride Hyundai on Lynn Way Lynn Mass is an example when my parents bought my moms 2012 Azera limited the sticker price was 38,000 but dad negotiated it down to 32,450 which was 15% off where as when they bought my late maternal Grandmothers 2005 Toyota Camry LE the sticker price was $21,125 but they paid 18,450 due to paying cash etc. she had the car paid off in 4 yrs monthly payment was 384.40 a month where as now same model with same options would cost over 30,000 of course hers was cheaper because it didn't have a sunroof
It will be a very, very long time before I buy a new vehicle again. Most Americans are tired of being duped, repeatedly for decades. We won’t soon forget.😊
I heard cost cutting by removing buttons… it has t gotten any cheaper so they can’t be cutting too much. Nice looking truck and I’m sure it performs well but 60k for a truck with almost no options. Ayyy. No heated anything, no push button start or remote start and cloth seats. Crazy this is almost a base truck at a premium high trim price. The f150 is no longer affordable unless you go used. I will stick with my little Maverick. It has heated steering wheel, seats and remote start and is awd all the time and still has 4 doors and is plenty quick enough. It was almost half the cost of this. I love the truck but just can’t believe how crazy expensive full size trucks are.
Idk I bought a fully loaded ram in 2015…. It was 5 years old with 21k miles and I paid 30k. Realizing most likely never have a nice truck again because won’t pay these prices.
16 MPG around town, the official EPA rating, so likely going to be less than that if we are being honest. So a 1/2 ton, "bare bones" by today's standards, "fuel efficient" 1/2 ton SMALL DISPLACEMENT with forced induction and it's getting LESS THAN 2MPG more, once again with the EPA's fantasy ratings, than my NA 6.2L F350 CC SB SRW! WHY WHY WHY? We also know, thanks to places like Gettys Garage and TFL, that when towing these baby engines can hang but what little "fuel economy" they have goes out the window when you ask the little guys to actually do some work. 3.5 "eco"boost vs a 6.2L Boss, I know which one I will bet on to last longer doing actual work.
@@briancavanaugh7604 Exactly mate, these EcoBoost engines in these overpriced EcoBoost trucks (as well as those stupid Hurricane engines in those Rams) don't get that much better MPG than my 2024 Nissan Titan with the 5.6L Endurance V8 in it with 400 HP and 413 Ibs of Torque.
ouch. EV’s need lots of R&D $. I have a feeling that all manufacturers are spreading the cost across all their vehicles. I have no interest in buying an electric car, but i think I’ll be paying for a fraction of someone’s car whether I like it or not.
The f150s just look like grand pa trucks. They have no kind of aggressive styling and their wheels are horrible. Ram and the gm trucks look way better.
@AlexAlex-gs1xh Agreed 100%, mine is an SV and it only cost me $45K brand new and plus I get a 5 year 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty as well as a lifetime power train warranty vs Ford with they're 3 year 60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty as well as a 60,000 mile power train warranty.
With this prices my F-150 2018 XLT Sport crew cab with 67k miles for $17k looks like was a steaal
