It's extremely frustrating that AOC and other companies won't release a 24" 1440p IPS GYSNC+Freesync and 165hz+ monitors in the US. Importing it on Amazon UK (well as of now it's not listed anymore) would cost close to $300 and I'm not even sure about free shipping. 😠😠
does 1200 contrast ratio monitor look better than 800 contrast ratio monitor? I have and lg 24gn60r but idk something look off my old tn monitor look better
It could be a gamma issue rather than purely contrast. It depends on lighting, but generally I consider 800:1 to be on the low side and sufficiently low to impact the image compared to 1200:1 or even ~1000:1 for that matter in all but particularly bright rooms.
Hi, I bought this monitor today hoping for vrr on ps5, but whatever I tried my ps5 video settings says that this monitor doesn't support vrr....Any suggestions?
@PCMonitors Oh man I thought because ps5 gpu is from amd that it will work...Btw thanks for answering...One more question if you maybe know, does changing game presets, eco modes, or turn on dynamic contrast in osd menu impact latency in any way?

The monitor doesn't have HDMI 2.1 or any associated features and therefore only supports VRR via Adaptive-Sync. Hence no VRR for the PS5.

It doesn't.
