I love free!! Thank you for this. I did want to point out, though, that viewers want to be aware that free patterns don't always guarantee there will be good directions. Simply sew, for example, have terrible directions. You can get by if you are an experienced sewist. Sew Over It is usually really good although their photographs sometimes leave a lot to be desired especially if you have to print off a PDF in black and white. Closet core and Helen's Closet are excellent with their instructions.
I got it a month ago. I’m using the pattern for summer night gowns without the pockets for hot summer nights in 100% cotton, and also making dresses for daytime with larger pockets and a tie around the waist and without a tie and added a ruffle tier to it with the shorter version of the dress. I love the pattern.
Yes! My "now" make is the Closet Core T-shirt pattern. I've been on the lookout for a more boxy long sleeved t-shirt and that looks fab. Thanks for a clear, helpful vlog
… wow this was fantastic !!! Some I’ve known about but most I did not . Style patterns I will run over and grab all three they look awesome … I’m not a very advanced sewist but the sew over it dress looks good too I’ll nab it and challenge myself lol… again thank you for such amazing links 💙💙
Thanks Lisa, such great resources - seeing as I’ve decided not to buy any new fabric or patterns for as long as possible this year, I am going to get some free ones and print at home! Love the Mood Sewciety and will be checking out Sew Daily - thanks again x
I've made the core kit top with long sleeves in a ponte and since we still have 3 months of winter in Minnesota I want to make a couple more in bright colors.
this was a great video! I have made both the Galena and Laurel multiple times. They are both adorable and come in girl sizes also. If you make the Laurel, watch out! The variations confused me in the instructions. But I was ultra happy with the results!
I wasn't able to retrieve the free patterns from sew daily. I filled out the short form that was supposed to direct me to the free patterns page and it never did😫
Thank you! Wet snow in Toronto, happily watching sewing videos.
Brrr! Good call to stay inside and watch RUclips. ;)
Thanks so much for finding more free patterns. I will definitely be checking those out.
Perfect! Enjoy.
Excited to download the Styla patterns!
Wow thanks
Great suggestions- thank you
You’re welcome!

Very true… sometimes you get what you pay for, no doubt!
Really fun. Thanks Lisa.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the tips in navigating the Sew Magazine website. Very helpful. ❤❤
I’m glad! It definitely has some tricks to it.
I want to make the Laurel dress. I love tiered dresses, and it would be nice to have one in a knit fabric. Thank you for this resource video!
Glad you enjoyed it, Tammy!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you. I like the leggings and some of those dresses, and I am always looking for a good pair of pants.
I just got my knit fabric out of storage.
It’s fun to go through fabric you’ve put away, isn’t it? I just did that recently, too.
I love the Laurel dress
Me too! So versatile.
I love these videos. Just printed out two patterns from Mood I’m going to hack into things I haven’t found patterns for. Thanks ❤
Amazing! I’m going to try to do them more often.
Thanks. This was great. The orchard dress was one I was not aware of and grabbed it immediately
Glad it was helpful!

You are so welcome! Free patterns are a great way to get around a no buy policy. ;)
This is great, thanks Lisa!! I’m loving the look of the Styla Laurel dress, might have to get that!x
It’s cute, isn’t it? And so many variations!

Great to know you like it enough to make it again!
Nice patterns! I’ve downloaded a few free patterns but have yet to try any. Maybe I will soon🥰
I hope you do! They are a great resource.
The" Styla" "Galena" and also their "Laurel"-I've just downloaded!! Very cute! Thank you for reminding me of their website! :+)
You’re so welcome!
They've come out with a new free pattern called "reine" it's a raglan shirt with gathers on the front of the sleeves
@@TheUselessbuthappy oh cute! Thanks for letting me know.

That’s great to know, thank you! They look like really great designs, and very hackable as well.
Oh, the bomber jacket.
Swoon, right?

That’s strange. Perhaps try a different browser. It should open right away. If not, I would follow up with their contact form!
Please how can I download the pattern?
You have to go to the listed websites and download them. I don’t have them.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
