    This Truck is incredibly well thought out, totally functional, which can easily be seen. Every bit of space is used very intelligently having more than one purpose for daily use. The colours inside make it very warm, inviting, and peaceful. It's very easy to see why it took as long as it did to build it out, and it's because meticulous attention and thought has gone into every square inch, and it totally shows. This is the kind of home on wheels I would want.

    WOW! Stunning and incredibly functional. Great design and use of space. Love, love, LOVE your kitchen set up. We too are picky eaters and I never imagined being able to have so much frig/freezer space... Of course it took a very large electrical system to make that happen, but your priorities are clear. An expensive build, but a fraction of what you would've paid to have someone else build it and it's custom to YOU. Also, if anything breaks, you know how to fix it because you built it! Who can buy a home AND be perpetually on vacation for under $200k? YOU! Outstanding!

    I wish when I was younger their age, people did this. Old people like me did have RVs or motor homes and traveled from rv park to rv park, but they were retired and owned a home or just stayed with the kids or friends when they needed medical stuff or a break from campground or the rv park. They used to buy koa or private campground memberships really inexpensive.

    Great build for 175k. Out of my budget and I’m too damn old for all that. But it is a great build overall. Thank you for the fridge and toilet information as my tiny is going to need something small yet efficient and practical. That fridge is great. Especially with the extra freezer below the main one. Im looking up the campo closet toilets.

    Cabover box whit sloped roof would greatly improve the design because the front of the box is like a wall hitting the air and creating a lot of resistance drag making the vehicle consume more fuel especially in speeds of 40-60mph. Almost all small trucks have the cone hood mounted on top of the roof to get sloped roof for less aerodynamic drag in higher speeds. You can easily build something similar with plywood as storage box with sloped roof design between the truck roof and the box and mount it on the storage rack and it will greatly reduce aerodynamic drag and lower fuel consumption.

      Comparing this to a condo? That condo can’t drive me from Alaska to Mexico dude 😂 but I do appreciate you enjoyed the build! Crazy to think people sell sprinter vans for well over this price these days 😂

    Awesome truck. I’m hoping for a boat, but love the not living stationary.

    Ahh, to be young and mobile again. I could not function in this truck, although I appreciate it's design. But, for example, I'd be terrified with that folding staircase, because it has no bannisters to hold on to so I can maintain my balance. Plus, climbing up onto the bed would be an impossibility for me these days. Welcome to the seventh decade...

    What’s the gas mileage on this beast?

    I love my smoker. I prefer propane over electric

    • @the.desertcruiser
      @the.desertcruiser 8 дней назад +4

      Propane makes the power system so much simpler but in our previous van even with really good ventilation we would feel almost “foggy” in our heads when the propane was on. So that’s really why we went electric!

      Well, that settles it.
      We are getting the Compensator 10,000.
      Because more numbers.

    9 miles per gallon, did I hear that right? Is it due to weight?

    • @BlondieHappyGuy
      @BlondieHappyGuy 9 дней назад +3

      Weight and a huge engine. Remember, that's not a 150, 250 or 350. It's a 550, which, before this video, I didn't even know existed.
      The bigger the number, the bigger the engine and heavier the chassis.
      So 9 mpg sounds about right for this.

    the shower curtain is "janky" because im like 90% sure its supposed to be on a track on both the top and the bottom

    • @the.desertcruiser
      @the.desertcruiser 8 дней назад

      funny you say that, the track on top was even jankier in my opinion. Thanks for your input though

    • @masterbond9
      @masterbond9 7 дней назад

      @@the.desertcruiser you could ad some sort of upper support for the top track. idk what heights that curtain system is available in, ive just seen other installs that have the track mounted to the top and bottom
