IT'S ALMOST TIME!! with our doctor saying it could be any day now, we still needed to do a TON more last minute baby prep and shopping!! there's so much to do!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say how much you’ve grown in terms of “growing up” since Iv been watching you. You looked so young when you originally moved out but here you are about to welcome a beautiful little girl and begin your family life. You and Eli seem so so happy and very well suited. You really have blossomed and I’m very excited for your next adventure when this little one arrives 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I totally agree with The lady above! I suggest to enjoy the whole process have an epidural! I had my last baby at 35 and it was a game changer!
Tip for baby girl’s first few baths! Swaddle her in a receiving blanket or even a towel. This way she feels secure and like she’s back in the womb 🛁👶🏻
This is a great tip. So many people say their babies hated the bath as fresh newborns. I wrapped my arm and hand around my daughters back and softly held their arms across their chest and placed a warm wet flannel over their body.
Less complicated than it sounds 😅
Just know, the first week home with a new born is the worst week. Everything has changed, it's not just you and Eli anymore. If you need help, ask for it. Don't feel ashamed to ask for help. It may take awhile to get a routine but you guys will. I hope your birth goes well!! Sending love from Indiana!! 🙏💖😊
The first week was my favorite with babies. I just laid in bed breastfeed and hold them. All they do is sleep and eat. My husband and mom did all the household chores while I healed. Even tough I felt like could take on the world( glad not to pregnant anymore)
Yes but if your stay a night or two in hospital well you get some rest the nurses are there to help well you get rest and have a shower and everything and it’s another way for baby to get used to different noise around her,the more your rest when she goes down for her sleep and you have you feeding and sleeping pattern on lock everything will go smoothly but alway ask for help when you think it’s getting a little hard or stressful at all times ask for help and take sometime for you to heal
Amen to this comment. You’ll feel like your doing everything wrong.. but it’s not you at all. Baby is just new to everything in the world.
Also DONT be QUIET… go about you normal daily routine and she’ll be able to sleep thru anything.

The one tip I give close to due date is to put a shower liner the dollar store ones work fine on your bed so If your water breaks while in bed it won’t ruin your mattress .My water broke on the bed with our oldest daughter and I didn’t have a shower liner on it and I really regret that .

@@CrazyGoodLife also on the couch and in the car when you go places. Think anything cushioned and hard to clean do either a shower liner or grocery bags to cover them to prevent a horrible hard to clean mess.
Also I don't remember if you got any but if breastfeeding a good nipple cream should be in your hospital bag 😀
Absolutely just wanted to save your mattress we couldn’t replace ours for a few years after so it had this weird smell that I constantly tried to hand wash 😂that baby is now also 19 .
When making the bed, sheet, waterproof pad, sheet, waterproof pad. So in the middle of the night if there is a accident all you have to do is pull off first layer and you are go to go. Nothing worse then having to change sheets in the middle of the night!
Ooh Lacey she's definitely coming soon 🥰 yes you definitely wouldn't be coming home at 4 centimeters. Aww I loved hearing Eli say "I should definitely get these seeing I'm going to be a dad soon" 💜💜💜💜 you both will be amazing parent's, eating spicy foods may help you bring on labor I know it helped my mom go into labor. Omg that bottle brush cactus holder is so adorable & halie is going to love that 🌵
Crazy to think Bee's Wax can be here any time now!! Feels like yesterday you was surprising your mom with the news.
Enjoy these last few days/weeks, I know everyone says sleep while you can but Im more of a get some couple's time while you can! Pamper yourself do all the things that wont be as easy with a newborn!

You’re going to be such great parents! From one young mom to another, it’s so hard but so worth it! Just make sure you continue your hobbies and interests after she’s born because it gets so easy to lose yourself into motherhood, especially when you’re still at an age where you’re trying to still figure out who and what you want to be in life.

Putting 2 sheets on the bassinet is a great idea for when you have to change it in the middle of the night but it’s also useful to put a waterproof sheet in between :)
You're very organized. I love it. It's wonderful that you and Eli do it all together & are great partners in everything.

I so miss this time of pregnancy and babies. (My babies are in their 20’s.) Enjoy the time when she is little because they grow up so very fast. A day takes forever sometimes but the years pass quickly.

Instead of getting a bassinet, I recommend getting a pack and play with a bassinet attachment that way when the baby grows out of the bassinet part you can use it still. Plus it makes traveling and spend the nights a whole lot easier.

Loving the baby prep videos. One thing I picked up during having my 2 babies it to use pet training pads under bed/crib sheets to protect the mattresses more only put them across the middle so either fold in two or cut in half to fit. Then if baby is sick or has a wet nappy you only need to change the top sheet. I can't wait for your baby girl to be here but she will come when she is ready, us girls like to keep everyone waiting lol. Sending love and support from here in England. Love Natasha x

A tip for baby bath to save your backs and knees. Can use baby tub on kitchen table, counter or kitchen island for first few weeks so you don't have to be bending over side of tub. Plus gives you more room for both of you to give baby a bath together.
My mom gives everyone chocolate bars when they have a baby because she says they are perfect to pop in the freezer and have a piece when feeding the baby overngiht!
I heard chocolate can give the baby gas, colic, better check!

This video brought me so much joy! You two are wonderful and you are going to be amazing parents! I love that you are having your baby sleep right next to you. I did that with my three kids (to be honest: the first few weeks they slept on top of me at all times) and it made the nights so much easier because they felt safe and I could just feed them when they needed it and fall right back to sleep. You will do great! Just trust your instincts and enjoy! The first weeks are so, so special! Getting to know this little person and loving them 🥰 I am so happy for you!!!

Hey lacey! Congrats on being a soon to be momma! Just 2 small pieces of advice. 1 MEAL PREP!! Definitely make dinners and freeze because your both going to be so exhausted and it makes things so much easier and 2. After the baby is here don't forget to take time for yourself and each other! It can be so stressful and hard, make sure to find time to still enjoy each other and don't feel guilty for doing so! Im sure your mom would love to baby sit while you guys grab dinner or something! Congrats again i can't wait to see her! I've been dying for a baby update!

One of the things my mom wished she had when my siblings and I were babies was a wipe warmer. She says some babies tend to cry when feeling the cold wipe. and Congrats on becoming parents! 💕👶

Oh my, have a good baby pregnacy life and I know the feeling of being young and pregnacy. You and Eli have been getting so much help with this situation, and you had moved on. I love you guys hope you do not get too much negative in your life. I have been watching Lacey, it is tough situation. I think Eli is trying to help you with baby situation, you should be grateful for that as being a "mother and father" I'm so grateful for you both trying your best on this situation. Hopefully your labor will be good as well. I miss you both and do not get too negative on being an adult because it is private and enjoy your little one arrives.

I would also place some burp cloths and bibs around the house. Places you might be feeding her. Just to make it easier in those early stages.
