Louisiana Woman,Mississippi man was one of the first songs I heard as a kid and it is great to see these songs still being performed today!!! Some songs just get lost to history but there are songs that live forever and this is one of the songs that will live forever!
That twitty smile, love them both, met Conway one early am at a truck stop in Nashville having breakfast, driving his maroon jag, I was traveling thru to WV from Texas.. Just love Loretta Lynn , two absolute icons!!

This brought back so many memories. I remember being told by my father the first concert I went to of there grandparents I was a little baby. They use to stay after the show so every one that wanted an autograph got one. Well my dad was in line and when he got to the front Loretta asked if she could hold me. My dad loved her so of course he said yes. I was handed up to her and she quickly ran off to show me to everyone who was around. Then she disappeared. The man standing behind my dad said "I think Loretta just took your baby" . My dad told him "it's ok I know where she lives". He loved her and her music so much. Growing up I did too. Oh by the she finally brought me back. Loretta and Conway were the best to see in concert. Never a disappointment always real entertaining.
Can hardly wait to see Twitty and Lynn. I know it won't be the same because music has changed so much over the years. But I would bet that they will be like there grandparents and never disappoint and be as entertaining.
Love them! They are so great in concert. A must see if you love classic country!

WOW, both of them descend from LEGENDS! But they didn’t just ride their grandparents’ coattails to stardom. They worked very hard to get to this point! I’ve seen all their music videos, they are very talented!

Twitty and Lynn do a great job on the short clip of the performance you had here. They are naturals, wish I could have seen their Opry debut live.
I saw them debut this on Facebook, about a couple yrs ago around the time we were coming out of the pandemic a little bit, I thought they done a great job. Wish them nothing but, the best and, hope to hear more from them and they make a cute couple to boot!

I am 62 yrs old & if you only KNEW how many times I heard Loretta & Conway on the radio in my Dad's car, us kids in the back seat with the windows rolled down, cause that old car had no AC! My Dad is 90 now & he runs all over town in his Cadillac STILL listening to all those old country songs!

Well, I don`t know what to say? I`m not used to good news these days. Grandkids of Loretta and my Daddy`s main man Conway. Lord, have mercy up on the Opry stage!! Harold Jenkins as he was introduced on radio for his debut by the local DJ. Then he got a map a AR and TX then he got a name, a performer that wrote and cut 40 hit records in a row, they all were not number ones, some only reached the two or three slot but less than ten I know. Loretta Lynn, Queen of the Opry, Country Music and Butcher Holler was Daddy`s favorite female legend of all time, cuz his Dad worked in the WV mines, I wish nothing but the good things for you both as you continue your journey down life`s road. Daddy died the other day. So, at his funeral my cousin and I wanted to perform That`s My Job by Conway, So, I tried, and I tried but I always cried halfway down the mirrored hallway. God Bless You, Well the Mississippi River is one mile wide and I`m gonna get me to the other side, Well I jump in the river Lord and here I go, see ya later Mr. Gator well ya swim to slow. Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man we get together every time we can the Mississippi River can`t keep us apart there`s too much love in this Mississippi heart too much love in this Louisiana heart..AAAHHYYEEE Thank ya both so much for keepin it Country... I was informed yrs ago Nashville isn't where the country music scene was, the country music scene is in Branson Missouri.
