Used to have one of these Denon with Dali spektor 2. The only thing is Denon sound became a bit fatiguing because of trebles being a bit too harsh. So I kept my existing speakers and switched to the marantz equivalent. I like the sound better
Yes I probably agree it's not a true Audiophiles system but for a starter set dipping your toe in the hifi world it's a great little system and can be had for about £300 now.
Absolutely! It's a decent unit. The only major flaw was the binding posts at the back didn't allow for thicker cables and banana plugs. And it was still awkward to insert the cables in the spring mechanisms. The newer model seems to have improved in that regard.
The way you spoke about it all is the uk i miss , worked hard after 🎉 in a bup , forgetting the one nasty person or better , like in vid explaining the stunner who flirted ! Stay like you are ps Richie S looks like french chef in Paris telling w to do ! Lol cheers mate
I'm thinking of buying the N10 myself and the 3020i speakers are on my shortlist to go with it, they seem well reviewed and imo are aesthetically very pleasing. Just a few questions for you - do you get a decent volume from this setup without it sounding distorted? I've heard the system with the included speakers and although they sounded good they did get quite distorted at higher volumes. Did you test any other speakers with the system and if so what was the main deciding factor that made you pick the 3020i? Thanks for your help.
I choose them because they were cheap...to be fair if the unit comes with the Denon Speakers just use them as there isn't a massive difference. If you do buy aftermarket speakers just be sure you turn optimisation off in the settings as that specifically for the Denon Speakers
