Use crocodile theory. Human legs have a lot of pushing power, but if you extend their legs, it’s much harder bring knees to chest. Your initial upper body grips and connection will dictate the urgency of your partner keeping their knees in front of you. Ex: Closed legs = threaten a body lock double wrap both legs, open legs, use Gordon’s demonstration. After all it’s all a game. Think of it in terms of, “how can I get my partner to remove his knee based off offensive positioning threat?” rather than trying to have out muscle or etc.
