A quick search and I found this company: www.bulkwineandspirits.com/. Also it could be worth you attending trade fairs. I hope this helps.

Hi Tony, we don’t have a commission agent agreement as we are not contract lawyers. There are many templates online that I’m sure you can find, download and amend for your personal circumstances. Non circumvention clause we provide in our “Start Your Own Export Agency Business” online course but again, I’m sure there are versions available for you to adapt with a google search.

I'm partner in an Import/Export Agency here in Chile, and after watching this full video I noticed that i'm in the middle of some of the same issues that Alan mentioned. Is there any email where I can write him?
This is not an easy question to answer in one sentence Mahmoud. It depends on how much commission involved. If a large commission is involved you could ask both parties for a standby Letter of Credit. You would invoice both parties for your commission and if they did not pay against the invoices you could claim payment on standby letter of credit. Buyer and seller must agree on such method of payment. If it is a small amount of commission say under £5K you could do cash against documents. This is just an overview
@@ABTS 1st of all thank you for your quick response 2nd thing yes it's a larg commission so I've to ask both for SBLC but this is new for me how to start with it and so on

My challenge is the suppliers provide products till FOB port of Mundra in India. How do u get the product to Canada from india port and to the door of buyer. Are there agencies who help with this.
Hi @yeshabhatt540 - You need to nominate a freight forwarder in India to take over the consignment form the FOB point (port of Mundra) and arrange sea freight to your nominate port in Canada. You then nominate a clearing agent in Canada to clear the goods through customs and deliver to your buyer. We offer an online course that will give you the practical knowledge needed to manage the entire process. See details here: www.abtslogistics.co.uk/full-syllabus/. I hope this helps.

Hello, thanks for the question. It's a very difficult question to answer without knowing what your thoughts or ideas are. It's dependant on your business plan really. As an example, I started many years ago with a loan from the bank for £500 (probably around $2500 these days). Some factors to consider: 1. Credit facilities from the supplier 2. How well you can negotiate freight terms 3. If you used a bonded warehouse to delay import duty, helping cashflow It's a very involved question so not one I can easily answer I'm afraid. If you're serious about setting up an export agency and have little to no knowledge of international trade, I really recommend our online course here: www.abtslogistics.co.uk/import-agency-full-syllabus/.
