- Today we are checking out another awesome band out of Japan called Ningen Isu with the song "Heartless Scat". Ningen Isu is a Japanese heavy metal band formed in Hirosaki in 1987. They have a real rockin sound that I would recommend to fans of bands like Clutch, The Melvins or anyone just looking for an awesome heavy band to check out! They have a full rich sound for a three piece and catchy riffs that hook you in and take you on an incredibly brilliant musical ride! Have you heard of Ningen Isu and their music? Let me know what you think!

Been around since 1987, but have only started to gain popularity worldwide in the past few years. Black Sabbath is one of their big influences. The outfits are their stage personas, a Meiji era literary master, a Buddhist monk, and a Yakuza style gangster. They have a lot of albums, 24 I think. This song came out in 2019.
"Farewell to the World" is a newer song, came out late last year.
Yeah these guys are awesome! I am looking forward to hearing and learning more about them! I love their sound, its my kind of music for sure! Thank you for the suggestion I will be checking that out!
What I love about this song apart from its overall epicness, is the fact that it doesn't seem like 8.5 minutes. I love every second of it from start to finish.😊
Yeah once you are on the ride you lose time! I really love when music has the ability to do that and this is a prime example of that!

Yeah these guys kick a lot of ass! I am looking forward to hearing and learning more about them! I love their sound, its my kind of music for sure!
Funny you should mention ZZ Top. A setlist of theirs from 1994 includes them doing a cover of Sharp Dressed Man. It's interesting just to look at all the different bands they have covered in their time as a band (35 years and counting). They have quite the discography. The live performance of "At the Mountains of Madness" (inspired by the HP Lovecraft story of the same name) that you can find on RUclips is an atmospheric gem.
They are awesome and I am looking forward to hearing more!! Thank you for the suggestion I will have to check that out for sure!!!
don't forget "odoru issunboushi live"
I highly suggest looking for their cover of 21st Century Schizoid Man. It is a live performance from back in their early years.
Was just listening to that King Crimson album the other day I bet they do it awesome! I will have to check that out thank you for the suggestion i really appreciate it!
