One of my favourite performances .... I love that beat they're rhyming to and Mike's dancing is always ace ... he's not supposed to sit on his couch watching the TV .... he's supposed to be up and dancing :-D
Adrock has his own little dance he does too. I have friend of mine that I say "Do the Adrock" and he does it just like Adrock does it and I laugh my ass off because it's so on point. No matter how much I try to do it, I can't do it like he does it. We working together one day and i had the radio on with a Beastie Boys CD playing and I looked over and he was doing it. Right away I knew what he was doing. It's a running gag now.
Just found this under another RUclips post. First time I saw, and it's flawless. They are ALL just so on point. The other upload just said live, not that they were in Germany. I wondered why Mike changes the lyrics from "You pull up at the function and you know I Kojak To all the party people that are on my Bozac" to "You pull up at the function and you know I Kojak To all the German people that are on my Bozac"
they all are. They are all so fucking tight together it's just silly. go to 57 seconds and listen to Adrock. He says "Hurra HURRA!" The first one is so suttle I'm surprised I caught it. It's like the first "hurra" is almost whispered with the second "Hurra" yelled out. It's awesome. After noticing that, I went right to the original version to see if he does it the same way and he doesn't. He does say it twice but the same way both times, and it almost sound like he's saying "horror horror". Then you got MCA and his little freestyle improve at the end. It's just fucking great.
They've admitted repeatedly that Yauch was the creative brains behind the group. Not that the others don't have talent. But Mike D said Yauch was the one to bring it all together.
@@sumoni that makes no sense, the boys were a trinity, there is no beastie boys without one of them. Nothing to do with who is intellectually superior, stop spouting false bullshit. They are all equal.
@@guiltyfeethavenorhythm LOL. How about you take your misguided rantings and raving to Mike and Adrock. They are ones that said Yauch had all the good ideas for the band. So in your feelings, yeesh, get a diary.
@@sumoni no they’ve said he was a driving force ( like a big brother, had extended and unusual knowledge when it was difficult to get that and was extremely influential in decisions and turning points in the bands history ) and yes he was 1/3 of the creative brains and yes, he did loop tape led zeppelin and make the bass drum for pass the mic thundery by making a tunnel of cardboard and some other spectacularly things too but that doesn’t make him any more superior than ad or mike, like I said, they’re the beastie boys, not MCA&co, stop spouting your bullshit now, it’s done. I understand your point and I get where you’re coming from, ad and mike have said that sort of stuff but you’re implying that if ad or mike died, the beastie boys would still go on because they still have the ‘brains’ of the group and so it would go on, which is totally ludicrous.
@@guiltyfeethavenorhythm I implied none of that or said none of that. You read too much into my comment and came up with what it meaning on your own. They've said they won't continue without him. They obviously give their own creative input but have pressed that Yauch's ideas gave them their MVs and other things that they would never think of. This is from their own mouths. The MV Intergalatic was due to Yauch. Their MV for "shake your rump" was Yauch's creation and how he would just call them up to do stuff and they would go with it. Mike D said that specifically. If that's not something they want to do on their own or wouldn't think of on their own, chances are he was pretty important for the creative drive of the group.
The part where they come in a bar early so Hurricane scratches the record and puts them back on time

A shame the remaining members don't release music anymore. Pure talent.
