This family has a weird tradition of throwing each other off cliffs. Here are all the canon moments.

Many people are coming here after Kazuya's reveal in Smash and Thanks to y'all. Now many would be wondering why this video doesn't exactly have all the cliff throwing scenes. I'd like to clarify that purpose and intention of this video was to include all canon moments, hence no Heihachi T3 ending, hence no Xiayou T5 ending.

As someone that doesn't follow Tekken I now understand why Kazuya, specifically, got in Smash; throwing people off cliffs/falling off cliffs is a regular occurrence for him apparently. He's already playing by Smash rules.

Tekken 1 always gets me lol. The theme dyting the final scene is so ridiculously upbeat
That theme played for I think all T1 endings. Probably why Namco just kept it that way. And don't even get me started on that damn smile 🌚

it's a mishima family's tradition. They throw the kid off a cliff and if he survives then he will be deemed fit to become the strongest martial artist in the world. Heihachi's dad also did it. Infact he killed his dad just like kazuya did.

Yup! Once in a ravine and once in a volcano. And they both survived their fall down the former but died before being thrown in the latter. Yes, Kazuya *did* die in T2 and Heihachi threw his remains in the volcano, You've got good eyes. The main purpose of this video was to show people that it came full circle and they were even. 2. His body falls directly into the lava, probably not shown bcz of rating
3. Bringing him back as "alive" would render the entire "final battle" thing useless.
4. He can be canonically dead but still a playable character. (Kazumi is an example of this)

Technically jin did throw heihachi out of a anicent pyramid and had quite a fall, that was canon so you could have shown that. You'd really think that if they keep surviving being throw off a cliff or into a volcano, you'd really try killing another way, heihachi did shoot jin with a gun but survives and then he gets throw out of a building, you just got to wonder if a huge fall, being burnt to a crisp or being shot doesn't kill them then what would. If jin or kazuya doesn't get thrown off a cliff or start a new tradition (maybe flying up and throwing them to the ground) then I'll be disappointed.
