I love this sport of indoor or arena soccer. It trims all the fat of regular outdoor soccer with non stop action, less dead time, and more high scoring. It should be much more popular in North America if it was marketed and advertised better.

This is mainly played on the east coast during the winter season. There are outdoor leaguers but it’s so harsh playing in 30 degree weather. Players much rather play indoor in fields like this or in futsal leagues. It’s great for staying in shape as well.

this format is so more more fluid, engrossing, and exciting than futsal, because the ball is constantly going out of play in futsal. i love that futsal has the prestige of FIFA and major powers like Argentina and Brazil playing, but this "indoor soccer" format is so much more exciting. I wonder why they don't adopt it.
Most likely because the sport has boards. FIFA probably hates boards in soccer so I guess that’s why. But the boards are one of the best parts of indoor soccer because the ball is constantly in play.
They use size 4, same as futsal ball CMIIW The thing with both futsal & indoor are, we can't let our marks free or left an open space even for a fraction of a second.. To me, it feels more tiring than football..

It's the other way around man, USA has some of the best players in teams all over Europe, can't say the same for Mexico. They have a few spread thin through Europe but nothing special.
futsal has no boards/walls to keep the ball in play. different ball size and weight (futsal ball is heavier and smaller), futsal 5 a side indoor soccer is 6 a side. in indoor subs are made on the fly.

I don't understand why indoor soccer can't be huge in North America, its fast paced game without "boring" bits of outdoor. You market it correctly, add time outs/OT and put on commercials every 2 minutes and you have a game perfect for the American market haha.
I’m glad I made the switch honestly. Don’t get me wrong, I love outdoor, but indoor is so much more fun. Win lose, doesn’t matter, as long as I get my hat trick I feel I done my part :)
A lot smaller goals and pitch (obviously) so you get more goals but the QUALITY of the goals are less. Not to mention theres deflections. Its a give and take
In Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, it is very present, Especially in the beginnings in children's soccer, it's cultural basically, was created in Uruguay btw 🇦🇷👋

No offsides. And they are purpose built fields. Not reused hockey. But similar wall layout. Newer ones have good turf.
