As a Warriors fan this is easily the deepest team we've had. By no means the most talented, obviously, but absolutely the deepest. We've found a way to replace Klay by committee, and it's working out so far.
Facts I don’t know wyf they talking about we never been able to sub like this nobody been able to have everybody on the team score he said David Lee and Andrew bought man gtfoh
I agree with you. One of the problems that may arise with replacing our former superstars, KD and Klay, is that these two tended to really ball out in the deep playoff runs. The nickname Game 6 Klay came about for a reason. I'm hoping our new players can also be playoff stars, but that remains to be seen.
100% the deepest team they have had since he has been there. Not the best team and they have had better individual players. Even with the players listed, he was comfortable running 8-9 deep at most most of those years. The thing that makes them deep is the fact that they have as many players they can actually play the system. There were plenty of years where they had better individual bench players for sure but once you start getting to the 9th man and beyond, there were a lot of guys who might struggle on the floor and have fallen out of the rotation. And there weee some decent names that have fallen out of his rotation.
This is exactly right. Since Kerr has arrived, he's never had a deeper team than this. They currently have 2 guys on the bench who can get you 20, 3 guys who can get you 10, a guy who can grab 10 boards, 2 defensive specialist, and overall 10 guys who are capable of starting. Even in their great years, they lost most of their games when Steph was out... If Kerr would have said that this was 1 of his best teams, then that's where he would've been wrong. Their starting lineup is good, but 1 of their worst over the last 11 years. They are not as dependent on Steph which makes them extremely dangerous.
These old players think they know everything cus they played…fact is they don’t watch every game they don’t watch the whole game fans do and this is definitely the deepest team GS has had based off production
It very well may be the deepest team Kerr has ever coached. But, it's quite clear that this team does not have the powerhouse starting lineup it used to have. No Kevin Durant and no Klay Thompson (and Iggy and Shaun Livingston off the bench). They cannot bowl over other teams like they used to, but with a deeper bench, they can outlast most teams by just having so much more in reserve. And, who knows, maybe some on this deep team will emerge. Kuminga, Moody, Buddy all seem like players who could emerge as stars, not at the KD/Klay level, but enough to make this team a genuine contender. Stay tuned.
It’s like they get talking points and never the whole story. Brown was literally drafted the year before at 3 and didn’t play. Why would Tatum think it would change for him
What the hell y’all talking about. He said deepest team and yall challenge him by saying years when we had 1-3 people. Did the word deep change our best years we went 8 deep
