- 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Dry Mango Powder

- Salt (as per taste)

Swap the Besan with Rawa(semolina), and thinner slices and it will become tons of times better, crispier, tastier...My mom's recipe and my most favourite dish!!

Sounds good, besan is high protein but suji will make it more crispy . Good thing about both besan and suji is that it will absorb the water that baingan releases .
Today I made this recipe on the recommendation of my housekeeper. And i didn't add neither suji nor besan . It became too spicy for my taste buds

@@aaa_1727 I don't know the exact measurements for recipe. But in short, you soak the eggplants in some salt water for some time. Then take sooji, add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric.
Then roast these on a pan with not too much oil

This is a 'MUST' as a side dish with 'Daal-Rice' or with Khichuri or it goes very well with Roti as breakfast.
It's a staple Bengali side dish.
One can make a sandwitch with this eggplant, slice of onion tomatoes cilantro chatni or any thing U like.
Make a good meal.
Or
Take noodles put this eggplant 2 pcs and pizza or spaghetti sauce fresh cilantro cheese on the top heat in oven or microwave oven for the cheese to melt.
Top with hot red chilli pepper.
Italian call it eggplant Parmigiana or Permesan

Tried this today and it was really good. Simple to make but does take time for cooking for more than 2 people on a single tava, so plan accordingly.

Lovely ! This is nothing but famous Bengali Begun Vajan !!! Just after taking out of pan sprinkle very very little sugar , it will add another dimension. It also goes very well with roti.

I like to marinate my veggies - suran, potato, brinjal, karela and raw banana. You can add your own veggies. Keeping it simple and quick.
Cut veggies slightly cross. Marinate with red chilly and haldi powders, salt, hing and lemon juice. Let it rest for atleast half hour. Coat with rice flour and rava mix and fry till crisp. Enjoy 😋😋😋
