Shut up, he didn't make this genre lol the boys in Gothboiclique were already mixing pop punk/emo vocals over rap/trap beats that had guitars, and even before then there were some echoes of this vibe in Bones' & co's music from years prior.

Wow he said he sounds like Curt cobain that’s bang on, he is literally known as this generation Curt cobain he was on his way to redefine his own way, made his own lane and made emo-rap a genre. Not this one but he has a lot of songs with grunge, emo, pop punk influence. He's not really a rapper, he his a very versatily artist. He inspired artists like Juice Wrld and even MGK going to pop punk is partly because of Peep. He's called the Kurt Cobain of this generation and it's not because of his looks...
crazy how peep has very pure trap songs, also rock, pop, metal and the list goes on and on
