Guys, I'm pretty new in tft, and I think I got the basics down, but I really struggle in understanding whatever boxbox says during the game. And I also cannot understand why he kept buying random units, then selling them afterwards. Can somebody enlighten me or give a few tips? I really wanna get good at this game so bad.
Not entirely sure but from what I understood. He either buys random units to thin out the pool for a slightly higher chance of hitting or buys an overall good unit until he figure out his board
Its not to thin the pool, it is just a good habit to buy units so that if you by chance get a 2-star strong unit you can play it temporarily. Alternatively you may open an opportunity to pivot if you by chance get a good 2-star of another build. Generally it just widens your options and potentially lets you play more flexibly
I can proudly tell i got a 2-star ziggs on 3-2 and it felt like cheating. Was hitting one Akali on 2-6 and got a golden orb from Kruggs with double Akali in it… followed by recomb on 3-2 😂

i just had a game where someone 3* ziggs and i had 3* ahri and the dude sold his board came against me and ahri one tapped the ziggs and came 2nd XD
