harper...I KNEW that going in, but I LOVED this show so much over such a LONG time, I am still interested in the personal relationships of my BELOVED characters! I don't watch much if any newer PROGRAMMING, but mostly old b&w shows! I'm 71 years old.

So i sat through this to find out that Ron hated a pickle named "him" well, anyway it was a walk through time. Ron is only 2 years older than me. So I grew up watching his television life.
Ron Howard is less than a year younger than me, so DITTO on that . (I'm 70) He comes off as a nice guy, but I may be wrong? The agenda is to paint rural people as low intelligence BUMPKINS, when the OPPOSITE is true. That's why I got OUT of the city 12 years ago and NEVER going back...
@@mr.blackhawk142 We were a family of 8 kids 4 boys 4 girls, Mom Dad and Dads mother We lived in a large circa 1883 Victorian farm house in the country. It is still in the family to this day. Dad was a wealthy city boy until the depression hit.
