Just subbed bud but I'm im a huge MF'er. Been following Ben since he quit his day job. I Def not sure how the points worked. How did Logan P jump over everybody? Anyways, congrats bud.. GL in the Elites
For every tournament, first place gets 200 points, 2nd place gets 199 points, third gets 198, etc... all the way down the line. So because Ben finished in 3rd, he received a ton of points. Combine that with the fact that the guys ahead of him going into Harris didn't perform well, he was able to catapult himself in points and grab a spot.

Four will be a feat for sure, but I'm not betting against it.
If I could find/make an MFer flag I'd fly it proudly from my boat at every local tiurnament I fished....hell, who am I kidding, I'd fly it from my boat every time I went fishing.

Saltwater guy so forgive the ignorance but is the classic the top are the elite
The Elites are like the major leagues of bass fishing. The Classic is like the Superbowl of the sport. The most common way to make the Elites is to fish the Bassmaster Opens and finish in the top 9 for the year. Some of the Opens tournaments had well over 200 competitors this year so the competition was fierce.
You can earn an entry into the Classic a number of different ways. The top 40 anglers from the Elites earn an entry. Another way is to win one of the Opens tournaments. Hope this helps!

@@weirdfishweirdfish6636 Yes that's what it means. Ben Milliken won at Toledo Bend which got him in the classic. Then placed 9th in points which got him into the Elites. So cool watching a UTUBE fisherman make it & prove all the Nay Sayers wrong! Dudes helped me catch so much more fish with 6sense baits, it's incredible...

Heartbreaking for Bobby. I missed making the Elites by 4 pounds last year and finished fist-man-out so I know how it feels. He's a talented fisherman... he'll bounce back.
