Made a few changes to make this deck more consistent, and replaced some sideboard cards that made no sense to me ;-) Most important additions are Bond of Flourishing and Treasure Map, as well as the mana Druids. I think a few more Mammoths and one more Celebration would be good but I don't have them. I'm not a huge fan of Revenge because it's only good if you have a life total to speak of, and this deck is slow. If you have any suggestions please let me know, I do think this is a fun deck (though not super competitive). Would Gary be a fit here? It should at least refund itself if there's a Citadel on the board, which makes it better than Zof Consumption for the deck's win con (though obviously Gary isn't a land, so it couldn't fully replace Zof).
In an unexpected turn of events more than 80% of Jankometers around the world exploded today during morning hours CT. Scientist believe the triggering signal came from the pacific somewhere near the Japan.
Ya, that 1 land in the deck seems like a real liablity. Also, it's better to get some of those creatures out there rather than using them as a land in the first place so you have 10 nonland permaments to sacrifice. There is also other creatures that gain life upon etb as well that may be better than the Trail of Crumbs.
Awesome deckbuilding as always, my Lord. This inspired me to make Gideon of the Trials deck with Bolas Citadel, no lands and Approach of the Second Sun. Gideon's emblem says we can't lose the game. With this emblem and Gideon in play we can go below zero lifepoints, play everything in our deck until we hit Approach of the Second Sun and play it again.

@@dakotajones321 If you pause at 39:36 you can see that it's currently showing the Sideboard, which is the blue button behind him. He would have to click the black Exile button to see the Citadel.
Shuffling 5 cards into your library would imply shuffling your library, I would presume. I think the fact that there was still a citadel on top was just an MTGA shuffler moment.
@@Thesaurus_Rex A number of ways I guess, otherwise you'd shuffle the entire deck whereas the text says "five target cards... into your library". I guess it should say "...bottom of your library" like most cards would with that sort of text. I feel like they probably forgot to add the "bottom" part. But it's a good question you have that points out some real problems with the card's text. By the looks of it on the video the 5 cards are semi-randomly without affecting the top card, put into the deck.
@@christianolsson2898 Again, pretty sure the top card stayed the same just because RNG can be a pain sometimes. The top card doesn't usually stay the same when using that Wand of Vertebrae ability.
Dark Lord, much respect for getting ANY wins with this deck! Tried this deck in historic ranked and lost 13 games in a row before getting a win by attacking with a florahedron. Deck loses to: turn one Thoughtseize (every time); any creature larger than 1/1 (most games); any deck that wins by attacking with creatures. It is fun sticking a citadel, but I never had enough life to make it work for me. Love the Jank though!
As in 38:02 you trying to cast Perilous Vault, maybe you should include 1 copy of Ashaya. It will make all our creatures Land Forests, isn't effected by PV and you you got a mana source for creatures, that normaly don't creat mana. And it would pump itself cause of the "play-for-free"-stratergy.

i think ajanis welcome would make this deck insane because then when you find the cheap mana dorks on the top they will also give you life back and if you find multiple copies of ajanis welcome it will start gaining you extra life
Amazing deck! The only thing I'd like to ask is how many matches did you lose. Usually in historic I lose on the opponent's 3rd turn. It's amazing seeing how many times they didn't finish you off that fast. Were those matches edited out?
Actually i dont think the opponent saccing the white leylines is the reason they lost, all the cards that mbm played that affected that opponent's life total said each opponent, not target. Sure he had the revenge's but he never played them
Here from the Future :) Due away with the concept of some of the healing carts i replaced Revival Revenge with 3 copies of Aetherflux Resevoir.....It's increadible. Just hit 1.2k health before i decided to blast my opp lol

I got pictures but can’t post them in chat. Crazy af. I just have to restart the client. Hasn’t affected the gameplay. But strange none the less
You could maybe try one or two Ugins, that will make artifacts 2 cheaper, so eggs will be free, his +1 could remove some bad top card and -3 some bad creature.
Cost reduction actually wouldnt alter the amount of life he has to pay for the citadel, as citadel specifically references paying life equal to the cmc of the card on top
You fucking madman, this could genuniely be legit. People are already playing 0 land combo decks in modern and legacy. Honestly, this deck just needs a fair plan, probably Vito and a lifegain package.

at 17:17 the card states "Shuffle up to five target cards", not shuffle your library.

This deck needs to play Charming Prince. An actual net positive for life or scry away something you don't like.

You cannot pay life if you do not have a sufficient amount of life to pay, and you cannot pay with negative life total
