I also was born with HIV and never knew until 2020, I'm adopted but I still don't know why they didn't get me tested....now I've been on the ARVs for over 2 years now and everything is going smoothly but I still can't believe that I have it , I have scares all over my body and I've tried to get rid of them but they're still here, I have a boyfriend and I've told him about it he's (negative) and he told me nothing would change between us and it hasn't fortunately, but I still feel the pain and wonder if he really doesn't have a problem with it

I was born with HIV back too, i just recently turned 19 and im surprised I'm still alive. I found out about my status in 2020 and I don't think I'll ever be myself again💔 do you ever feel like you just don't fit

Am also a victim of being born with HIV and the stigma that comes with it is one thing that has to be dealt with... I once opened up and told my sister that I was positive but she never took it seriously... Now she saw me taking my medication and asked me what they were for out of disappointment and fear of acceptance I just told her that they were for blood
