I so enjoy hearing about books like this one that are entirely new to me. Your reading of books that are off the prize winners lists keeps me returning to your channel. A prompt to add to your jar: A book with a gardener or horticulturist as a main character.
Thank you for this recommendation, I will gift it to my sister who is an architect and loves all things UK! And if she doesn’t read it, I will 😁 Frohe Weihnachten from Germany to you and your lovely family ❤👋🏻
Merry Christmas, Louise! I hope the von Arnim novel you were reading is The Enchanted April - that's one of my favourite reads when I need a pick-me-up. So if it wasn't that one, I recommend it for future enjoyment!
My copy of this book is no longer sitting, all dusty, on my book shelf. Thank you for chatting about it and inspiring me to take it down and add it to my 2025 Pile of Possibilities. May you have a year of joy, warmth, happiness, and many wonderful books to read.
I've just finished There are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak.. Wow as always with her books. Yellowface and Babel by R.F.Kuang both brilliant though I favoured the latter. Walk the blue fields(short stories) by Claire Keegan and frankly any other book by her. The Fraud by Zadie Smith. Earth and Water by John Boyne and have fir to read from the library over Christmas. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
Happy Christmase❤ I'm from iraq and I also really like to watch your magnificint channel. Actually, I could n't describe my feeling when I see your fascinating methodology. Please, can I communicative with you. It's perhaps unnbelievable moment that make me follow your fabulous channel. Please,
