Yes that is true on the qc35ii. I made it to test the microphone not there NC. Oddly enough they are better than the QC700 in this regard. The qc700 does have NC for voice. I wasn't happy with it though. I made a video for that too.
I picked up the ClearMic 3504 noice cancelling boom microphone for my QC35 series 2 headphones. While I don't like the idea of having a cord, it does make a world of difference. They really do work and I would suggest grabbing yourself one before they become unavailable due to lack of apparent sales. I plan to use mine for podcasting, video narration. It's a very nice upgrade for these headphones. There is a different version for the QC15s.
dude the noise canceling is for you not for the other parties engaged in conversation with you. It detect what type of frequency comes towards your ears and hits it with the opposite freq so you won’t hear it. There’s no mechanism for what you are testing
@@gwoyang I saw your video on the 700 and the audio was much worse, your voice was distorted and you could still hear background noise. On my laptop, I use Krisp to filter background noise and it works very well.
it's because of Bluetooth's limitations... it can carry stereo audio quality only one way but if you are using both the microphone and the headset at the same time (like when you are taking a call) it will convert to mono audio quality which is basically half the quality so the signal can be carried both ways that's why good wireless gaming headsets come with independent wireless adapter. future generations of Bluetooth should have the capacity to carry stereo both ways but for now if you want to make a call with good audio quality you should use a wired headset
These headphones were designed for noise cancelling for the listener wearing the headphones, not so much meant for using as a headset for conference calls, etc. The clearmic 3504 is the only mic I know of that can be used with these headphones that will absolutely correct the problem.
Thank you for putting hundreds of people at risk while operating a cell phone, in a +3000 pounds piece of metal that accelerate 0-60 mph in 6 seconds... and speeding... your review is so important that other people life is irrelevant. Distracted driving is one of the mayor cause of car caused death in the US. We have normalized "working" while driving, just for the comfort of being in a conference in my race car. If you need to be in a meeting, just wake up earlier and actually go to work!, either from home or at the office. Probably the other people in the meeting are just anoyed of such a reckless behavior, not because your "noise".
Thank you for this video. This is exactly what I wanted to see... Taking calls from the car ETC...
Thanks for the video. As we understand NC is for the person using headphones and not for the person on the other side!!!

Very helpful review! Also… I recognize Montgomery County and Baltimore. I’m also from Maryland.

Consolidated Freedom can you still use the Bluetooth modus while having this mic?
SWEET!! Checking out headphones and I have a 2011 WRX. Awesome cars and headphones!
Do the Bose QC 35 II headphones have the ability to mute the microphone during a call?
I wanted that test.... thanks so much
What if you roll the window down for a real test

I know that. I didn't say the noise cancelling aspect was what I was testing. The qc700 has that not this one.

@@hippopotamus86 I'll check krisp out. That sounds pretty cool.
So the MIC on these 350$ headphones sounds like a walkie talkie from the 1950s smh

Does it make a difference if the wire is connected instead of bluetooth?
@@crjacinro yes significantly but it's still garbage tho just buy a separate MIC
thanks for the vid, which camera app do u use to record ?
Thanks! It's called cinema fv5
Why does his voice keep on breaking up? It's that the mic or the bluetooth or something else?
I'm guessing with this much noise, this headphones are filtering out parts of the audio spectrum his voice is on.
Does it make any difference if the wire is connected instead of bluetooth?
Yes the noise cancelation does not work
Epic
why is it so bad?

This is cap he is wearing the headphones the wrong way... The bose qc sounds like a studio mic

Could’ve just said “don’t be on your phone and drive” I didn’t need an in depth explanation of a car and the approximate speed it was travelling.
