There is no way that I find this channel today and see the last video was 8 months ago and think ah no more from this guy and literally 34 min later drops this.
Your theory is good. I'm a thresh main too and I touch so many hook in gold/platinium elo just by the fact : if you walk up, adc will always back down. In bronze/silver elo, I think we can't use it cause adc don't understand the danger of a hook Just an exception for Jhin, they got switfness boots so when I land my hook, I predict a larger dodge than other adc
You may have mentioned this in the actual coaching session, but @46:00 the way he combo'd his abilities could have also secured the kill if he had forced the Jinx into one of the box walls. This would have done a good bit of damage and a massive slow. I think it would have been better to Flay parallel to the wall, instead of perpendicular, or to hold it until after Jinx flashed. Probably best to: Q over wall, auto with Trist, give Trist lantern, Jinx Flash, (you may need to flash to stay in range, but I don't think so) Flay Jinx for the slow, then ult for damage and slow, Trist W to confirm the kill.
Yup! We did go over a bit of the specifics of thresh mechanics, and his strongest damage output combo, however I try not to focus TOO hard on micro as it’s not as relevant compared to the bigger picture. Good catch though!

Legit same thought, but I'm 7days late 😄 😅
