  • On this episode, Sloane interviews NBA legend and the newest member of the Golden State Warriors, Chris "CP3" Paul! Sloane and CP3 talk about Paul's Club 61 leadership program, where he brings kids from different cities to LA for three days of activities, community service, and conversations. Paul shares his experiences as a 14-year-old in high school, trying to find himself as a basketball player and dealing with being vertically challenged compared to other players. They also talk about Paul's childhood dreams of playing in the NBA and NFL, his love for football, and his admiration for Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson. Sloane also does a round of "Takes Hotter Than Kelly Oubre Jr" and finds out she knows more about Chris than he knows about himself.
00:00:18 Today, we are talking to the point god, Chris Paul
00:04:56 Any and everything Allen Iverson was doing was what I wanted to do
00:05:12 Whatever Michael Jordan was doing was who I was with
    00:08:27 It's just different now
00:11:14 Game just sort of changes and evolves sometimes for the betterment of your game
00:14:35 Takes hotter than Kelly Oubre Jr.
    00:18:09 J. Cole can hoop
00:23:30 These guys didn't have access to all the health and all the doctors and all that
00:25:22 Fall back in love with the game
00:27:09 Because it's basically a cheat code now

ok not sure if she’ll read this but young lady, you got the chops for sure … i love how she is naturally witty and ENGAGED … she’s not just waiting for her turn to talk she’s actually listening … she also clearly does her research and asks great original questions that makes them think which is hard to do because these players have heard em all before … I hope you stay the path Sloane i’ll be rooting for you!

Sweetest thing ever to see such positivity in Sloane when interviewing CP3. Especially appreciate the way you avoid some potential embarrassing moments with humor. It's really fun to see and know more about the "human" side of NBA players off the court. On the court, like CP always says, he is the most competitive player he has ever seen, but off court, players dun have to be as masculine and tough as they appeared on court. Great work!!! Love and support from a forever die-hard CP3 fan from Hong Kong!!!🧡

Insightful analysis and commentary from an intellectually precocious 15-year-old. I would not be surprised to see you as an NBA Reporter for ESPN in the not-too-distant future. How does a 15-year-old get some of the biggest names in the NBA and WNBA to be a guest on her podcast?

How do she knows these players she’s 15 🤨with barely any subs , but in the same breath I’m impressed with how she conducted her self with this interview 😳 she has a great interview speaking voice she knows how to word question to lead into a question and does a great job of listening and not over stepping over the the person there interviewing while there answer the question don’t know how she got this interviews but she is know beginner despite her age I didn’t feel like a 15 years old was interviewing him but how? 😂 who is she🤨🤨🤨 I’m looking at her channel it’s not adding up 🙃

She's a talented interviewer and very poised but how is she landing these interviews? Who's kid is this? Because not every 15 year-old kid is getting the opportunity to interview the top stars in the sport.

create all social medias and connect with people to better promote your content! there's no reason why you should only have 320 subscribers. focus on advertisement/marketing and getting your name out there. your content is very high quality and its a shame you're not well known

At first the “I’m 15!” Was like 🙄 but it’s actually smart and good. She is super energetic and it is kinda annoying to an old man watching at first, but it starts to make sense, and I got it and settled into it. I woulda gone crazy for this at that age. And the knowledge is legit. She catches a buncha pretty out there references outta nowhere and that kinda helps lead the convo in a way we don’t usually get to see. Gets cp to remember and talk about things relevant to her that are usually not brought up. The kid from high school he went against got a shoutout, andre got a shoutout, because she did that. Whoever’s kid she is, whatever this channel with 270 subs is, it’s a really good interview. Won me over 🫡
