BABYMETAL pinned the lyrics in the comments under the video - here is the translation: Lyrics: MK-METAL Music & Arrangement: MEGMETAL 【lyrics】 "Stardust rushes through the night sky It's like a crushing dream In the sky Let me sleep Oh, lonely night Shaking Dance in the dark with the rhythm of the wind with your voice calling i wake up I don't wanna lose my mind Even if I know that Time has passed Move on no one can stop me How will the weather be tomorrow? If it's sunny, let's knock knock If it's raining, wouldn't it be nice to take a break? Don't rush Just step by step Because tomorrow will come again And day by day Because tomorrow will come again Tiny voice that doesn't become a voice I saw it on the star screen that summer stage Let me hear it Oh, good music With the melody of the wind, Humming Sing for me The voice you call Chase I don't wanna lose my way If you get lost Deep breath with a pause no one cares How will the weather be tomorrow? Don't look back, just keep moving forward. If it's sunny, let's knock knock If it's raining, wouldn't it be nice to take a break? Don't rush Just step by step Because tomorrow will come again And day by day Because tomorrow will come again It's gonna be okay, alright. Sunny day, even the same scenery as usual Rainy day, it looks different somehow Seven days I will never return Yesterday Let's start every day Brand new day If it's sunny, let's knock knock Isn't it okay to break many times? Starting today Just step by step Because tomorrow will come again And day by day Because tomorrow will come again Because tomorrow will come again I'll come again tomorrow" Polyphia are from Texas, a mainly instrumental (I believe) Prog band. Tim and Scott are both amazing guitarists.🎸🎸 I don't know about you, but when Su tells me "It's gonna be okay, alright." I just have to believe her.🦊
This song appeared on BM's third original album, 'Metal Galaxy' (2019), with the two guitarists of Polyphia contributing the guitar parts (in the arrangement too). This live co-performance was also what the fans (and especially me) had been waiting for, lol. The album can be guessed to have several concepts, but one of them, it is the Japanese edition is a two-disc set, with disc1 divided into a group of pop-oriented songs and disc2 into a group of metal-oriented songs, I belive. And this song is on the pop-oriented disc1. So it seems that it is not really liked by fans from metalheads backgrounds, but I like it because I am actually a fan from a certain jazz fusion music in Japan. I like following things, the lyrics are great (BM has a lot of cheering songs), the feeling of gaps in whole the song, the emphasis on melody and the large scale of the song. I went to FOX_FEST and saw this live premiere with Polyphia, but I was totally mesmerised by the Polyphia stage before that, so I became a fan of Polyphia. And on the BM stage, this song was earlier, and after this was the collaboration with EC, 'RATATATA'. I was moved to tears by Brand New Day, and enjoyed myself to the fullest with RATATATA. It was worth coming to the fest just to hear / watch those two songs. On the Polyphia stage at FOX_FEST, The first, I liked just the appearances Tim and Scott both playing with the way they don't have any stage direction. But play happily and show off their cool super technique... And I was surprised by the number of amplifiers. I thought they were chests, lol. These overlapped with my favorite Japanese guitarist, the late Akira Wada... Of course, the two Clays, the rhythm section of bass guitar and drums was also good. Thank you from Japan!
Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I witnessed this at the venue (2 times on Day-1 & 2). What a bliss!! Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. Classy support by our Kami Band on both sides (4 guitars in total) ❤. The applause at the end was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video.

Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🔥 Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find many more like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new but is one of the songs with more mature sound. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson and Scott LePage and it's very clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Tim Henson also said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. Btw they finally met each other when doing a festival last year and took a pic together but they didn't play together this song yet. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "City Pop" band and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about this being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. You can find the lyrics on the pinned comment. Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥
It's actually not a brand new song. This song came out in 2019. This was just the first time that they had the Polyphia guys perform this song with BABYMETAL so that's why they wanted to release a live video for it.

【lyrics】
"Stardust rushes through the night sky
It's like a crushing dream In the sky
Let me sleep Oh, lonely night
Shaking Dance in the dark with the rhythm of the wind
with your voice calling
i wake up
I don't wanna lose my mind
Even if I know that
Time has passed Move on
no one can stop me
How will the weather be tomorrow?
If it's sunny, let's knock knock
If it's raining, wouldn't it be nice to take a break?
Don't rush
Just step by step
Because tomorrow will come again
And day by day
Because tomorrow will come again
Tiny voice that doesn't become a voice
I saw it on the star screen that summer stage
Let me hear it Oh, good music
With the melody of the wind, Humming Sing for me
The voice you call
Chase
I don't wanna lose my way
If you get lost
Deep breath with a pause
no one cares
How will the weather be tomorrow?
Don't look back, just keep moving forward.
If it's sunny, let's knock knock
If it's raining, wouldn't it be nice to take a break?
Don't rush
Just step by step
Because tomorrow will come again
And day by day
Because tomorrow will come again
It's gonna be okay, alright.
Sunny day, even the same scenery as usual
Rainy day, it looks different somehow
Seven days I will never return Yesterday
Let's start every day
Brand new day
If it's sunny, let's knock knock
Isn't it okay to break many times?
Starting today
Just step by step
Because tomorrow will come again
And day by day
Because tomorrow will come again
Because tomorrow will come again
I'll come again tomorrow"
