you get like 120-200 fps its not like the 240hz monitor will display much of a difference. and i just saw the part where you said youre playing a 1440p. yeah this is brain dead. youre not getting enough fps to display a solid 240fps and running at 1440p is just reducing your fps even further making the 240hz useless.
for future proofing it's fine. The monitor has a nice resolution and high refresh rate. It's not like csgo where every frame matters, this game anything over 120hz and you've got more than enough
@ nah drops below 130/140 feel pretty bad. And playing a competitive shooter at 1440p is just a braindead approach. The only way you’d feel a difference is just in windows since in game he’s not even getting enough frames to fill the 240hz pool

What is braindead is thinking you are superior for playing on shittier graphics just to get extra few fps that doesn't impact the game at all.
